I had the macadamia crusted sea bass and the short of it was it tastes like vacation. My husband had the steak frite. The steak was perfect with chimichiri on top. It was divine. But back to my sea bass, the pico was mango and raw jalepeno and onion and my fish sat on top of a bed of the softest and fluffiest potato's I've probably ever had. I had the si vous pear or whatever it was called as a drink and it is the only way I ever want my prosecco again in life. It was that good. We are waiting on the limoncello bread pudding and yes. Just get it. Totally worth it. This is one of my new favorite restaurants in town for SURE! The ambiance was nice ... the decor was soft and welcoming.. but the food. This food was real real good. and I don't know the scientist who came up with the portion sizes but they were perfect. My girlfriends and I decided we wanted to meet for brunch and try something new. One of my girlfriends has been to Sip + Savor and spoke so highly of this restaurant. Naturally, we had to try this for our monthly brunch date. It was AMAZING! When you walk in you can immediately get girlfriend spot where you can drink, eat, and catch up. Our server was super nice and had great suggestions for food based on what I actually liked. I had the frozen peach Bellini (which wasn't frozen), but the second one was frozen and AMAZING. I do appreciate the discount for the first Bellini because it truly wasn't frozen. I personally love sweet potatoes and this dish is really good. "Reservation" is a misnomer, it's actually "reserve a spot in waitlist" or something like it. Reserved a table 3 days or so before the day at noon for a party of 8, to arrive 10 minutes before reservation time, to then wait over 40 minutes to be sat (55m overall). I checked in at 30 minutes past reservation and they said they were "cleaning a table", then 40 minutes past reservation I checked in again, and then they said they will push two tables together... so they weren't cleaning any table for us. They sat 2 6-tops prior to us, plus numerous other larger groups. Having worked as a head host in the restaurant industry before, at first I thought it was because they all had reservations and were just before us in those, but as they sat ~15 groups before us, I started to notice we were being neglected. Even standing right in front of the hostess station. We were sat finally 45 minutes post reservation. (55m total wait time - the day before Mother's Day, with a reservation scheduled 3 days before.) Husband really enjoyed the steak sandwich and chicken fingers. The brussel sprouts weren't exciting, so I wouldn't order those. The side order of potatoes were good, but for the price, they were both disappointing. The cheeseburger was good, only wish it had more sauce on the bun. The best part though was the Caesar salad!! I'm so mad that I've lived in Flower Mound 5+ years and am just now discovering this place!! We had a great meal on a Saturday date night!! Warning - parking sucks so give yourself extra time for that. My husband ended up parking at Whole Foods and walking to the restaurant I started with a lemon drop martini which was delicious and very well balanced! For appetizers we had the tuna poke and a beet salad. The tuna poke was amazing, I loved that they added a chili crunch on top to give it some heat. The beet salad was good but I think I could count on one hand the number of tiny cut up actual beets that were in the salad so that was disappointing. For entrees we did the wagyu experience which was a 7 oz strip and 6 oz filet (we did medium rare) with truffle whipped potatoes and then we added the hot honey Brussels sprouts. The steak was EXCELLENT- both were cooked to perfection and not overly salty which I feel many places struggle with. The truffle potatoes were okay - they were lukewarm at best and very little truffle flavor. We loved the Brussels sprouts. For dessert we went with the rotating option which was a lemon and olive oil cake. This is never something I would pick haha (my husband picked it) however I was so pleasantly surprised! It was very moist and paired well with the fruit and whipped cream! I had a white chocolate martini since none of the dessert options appealed to me. I would've loved to have seen another chocolate option like a cake (not a torte, those are super rich and you can only eat a few bites) or a chocolate peanut butter dessert. We came here for Valentine's Day and overall had a really lovely experience. The food was excellent--beautifully presented, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. From the steak to the appetizers and dessert, everything tasted as good as it looked. The ambiance was warm, intimate, and perfect for a special occasion without feeling stuffy or overdone. That said, the bar was a bit of a letdown. They were out of both spiced rums they carry, which felt surprising for a dinner service on Valentine's Day, and the beer selection didn't include a well-known light beer option. Not a deal-breaker, but it did limit choices more than expected. Still, the strengths far outweighed the shortcomings. The outdoor seating is really nice as well but since it was cold, windy, and gloomy, we chose to sit inside. We were seated promptly, and our server was extremely sweet and attentive. I started with their drip coffee, which was infused with cinnamon and mocha. It was strong, flavorful, and honestly really good. From the brunch menu, I ordered the Meet the Morning sandwich with fries, and it was excellent. The sourdough sandwich came with pastrami, perfectly smoked bacon, fried eggs cooked just right, white cheddar, aioli, and arugula. Very filling and well-balanced. The fries were crispy and not greasy at all. I also ordered the Winter Caesar with chicken, which was unfortunately a big letdown. So Hubby and I came here for brunch today. I must say this brunch was so good. I hate the machine was down for the frozen peach Bellini, I ended up getting a pineapple mimosa and hubby got an apple wood smoked old fashion. The aroma from the old fashion smelled so good. I ordered the Belgium waffle with strawberries and vanilla bean whipped cream and maple syrup and a side of chicken apple sausage. The waffle was delicious. It was light and fluffy with a hint of lemon in the waffle. The chicken sausage had so much flavor. Hubby ordered the traditional breakfast-which consisted of scrambled eggs with cheese, chicken apple sausage, (he substitute the bacon for more chicken sausage since we don't eat pork) potatoes and biscuit. Stopped by Sip + Savor for lunch and overall, it was a solid experience. I ordered a protein bowl with chicken, shrimp, brown rice, and avocado on top. The shrimp were definitely the star -- about five pieces, but very flavorful and paired really well with the brown rice. The chicken was grilled but pretty plain on its own -- not bad, just nothing that really stood out flavor-wise. I also had two Old Fashioneds, and they were -- made really well and a nice touch for a lunch stop. Overall, this is a nice, chill spot with good food and drinks. One heads-up though: make a reservation if you can. This place fills up fast, and you don't want to be stuck waiting around just to get a seat. All the apps we ordered were solid (artichokes, goat cheese, cauliflower, potatoes.) The winning cocktails were the Isla Bonita for the dudes, and sweet and sassy for the ladies. The entrees were all delicious as well. Sea bass, steak sandwich, hamburger, short rib empanadas, and filet. I will mention that the filet came out under cooked twice but when it came back the 3rd time, the boss delivered it with the message that it was on the house. For the entree I got the crab cakes and husband got the steak frites. He got a generous amount of fries with a gochujang ketchup dip and my crab was tasty. The service is fantastic! I cannot say enough about the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. It's a fairly new restaurant so the atmosphere reflected a newer upbeat ambiance. I got the Not So French Dip, and it, like the rest of the menu, was fairly high priced for lunch. It was delicious though, and I loved the shoestring fries that came with that as most restaurants don't offer them, and they are my favorite. My complaint is that my receipt reflected an up-charge for using a credit card. The original receipt was for $19.52, and I was charged $20.30 since I used a credit card. I thought this was deceptive as we were not informed of the up-charge prior to ordering/paying. read more

We had to ask for our ticket so they surely do not rush you. The tables are super wide, therefore does not allow a lot of room on the benches in the booths. So not comfortable if you're larger. They definite need to be made narrower. I also do not like to cram 6 adults into a straight-sided booth, it's okay for a half-round booth so you can talk with your entire party. The prices seemed expensive for the amt of food you received. Not will become one of my "must go to" places. read more

I would like to see this item added to the dinner menu but the vibes are nice and a great place to go with a large party. First time here and definitely going to come back. The kids recently moved up to Highland Village. They love the lake life ha ha. One of the kids suggested Sip & Savor. We had no idea what to expect other than it looks good and the reviews were good. Headed on over and we immediately greeted and sat down in the main dining room. Our server was over the top and explaining the menu and the cocktails. We always order a few plates to share for appetizers. Our entrées were the short ribs, pasta, steak sandwich, and a seafood plate. All were epic. It seems you can't go wrong with any item on the menu. Much attention is given to preparation and presentation of the dishes. As we were finishing up dinner, Jenn, the owner exquisite stopped by our table to check in on us. We told her the kids just moved to Highland Park and that I was out visiting from California. She was so gracious and appreciative. Next time in, I'm going to check out the bar. Went for my birthday & had a Resy credit to use. I should've went elsewhere. The waiter was not friendly. All of our waters were dirty. My husband's had red and green things floating in it & mine had a gnat frozen in the ice. The wagyu short ribs were a 10/10. The lump crab cakes were shredded crab, so if that tells you anything. 4/10 and I didn't finish them. The asparagus had no flavor and the salad was wilted & brown. My husband's meal was good. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing tonight. I ordered the Chicken Asiago to go for my husband, and it was extremely tough and dry -- we could barely cut it. It also lacked flavor, which made the dish even more frustrating given the otherwise pleasant experience. I'm hoping this was just an off night because the staff and ambiance were wonderful.
