What a hidden gem. This place is great. It's very clean, the people are all friendly, plenty of TVs, nice bar, good food. I got their bbq brisket sandwich and sweet potato waffle fries. Both were great. Had leftovers. We liked the beer selection on draft. Nothing wrong with an ice cold Two Hearted in a jar and some pull tabs. If you are looking for food in Seney, there is not really a TON of options, but this place makes up for the lack. read more

Was there this past Sunday. One other table of 3 people. Took 20 minutes for the "help" to come over and take our order. Took 45 minutes to get 2 burgers. Had to ask for the bill. Oh. Stopped in last weekend on snowmobiles, place was bumping! We trapped a table with a few other couples and got a few drinks. Server was great and the atmosphere was fun. We also tried the cheese curds and they were AMAZING!!!! read more

Came in for dinner about 8:00 pm on a Saturday night. Jukebox was blaring, people were shouting at each other just to be able to hear. Whatever, I can deal and kinda expect it for being the ONLY place in Seney. The locals just walk behind the bar and grab their own drinks when staff is busy, or mingling with the guests. We were ignored unless we initiated contact. Never once were we ask "Can I get you something?" or "How is your dinner?" or "Can I get you anything else?" Ordered the burrito, which was OK, nothing special. If staying in Seney again, I'd go back and eat there, but wouldn't make a special stop to get here. read more

We'll all the reviews praising are a nice try. Ate there for Saturday lunch. Burgers are pre pressed and like hockey pucks. The cook can only do one burger at a time then walks it out. 4 burgers=40 minutes obviously their builder designer had absolutely no idea of Michigan handicap requirements as you can put a high top in the bathroom. The back of the bar has wasted space where the server needs to walk 4 steps to get to the beer. Hey. AND How about someone doing a go fund me page to get Andy a decent headstone. How long has he been dead and nothing more than a cheap marker for his grave. It really tells a lot on how they operate. read more

First of all since the remodel and new open the food has been exceptional. Typical bar menu but well done, would give it 5 stars compared to the surrounding competition. Haven't had a bad meal yet, well done. Now the not so pleasant, the sound level. Let me be clear a lot of UP bar restaurants fall into this problem, usually because the bartenders are drunk and don't know better. That isn't the case here the staff seems well behaved but when they are playing the music on the speakers it is twice as high as it should be so all the patrons are literally shouting at each table trying to talk to each other. In the summer they have a great local that plays music on Taco Tuesday, but unfortunately same situation he went to the spinal tap school of volume and plays his music at 11. We use to go every week but our group unfortunately are going elsewhere because we like to be able to talk when we go out to eat, weird right. If you are looking for a great place to eat and don't care about having a conversation, this will be worth it! Unfortunately the college bar vibe of shouting across your table is terrible. Hopefully they will start to read reviews because i am seeing the same sound level comments from other reviewers. Update decided to take a db reading of sound levels just to see if I am missing something? 91db that is above some concerts in the red danger levels, if OSHA shows up they are going to make the staff where ear protection, unless they are already deaf. read more

Looking back on previous reviews, I was a little apprehensive about going here. Looks like the place and the menu have been recently updated, bar food done really well. I had a Reuben pizza (I like to order odd things) it was really good, will it be the best pizza you've ever had, no, but the crust is pretty good, I would ordered again, but get an extra side of thousand Island. At the table, others ordered a salmon burger, Annie's burger and nachos, all looked very fresh and delicious. All right fellow tourists, this is definitely a local's bar, there is no host to see you, there is no waitress running around, it's two guys behind the bar, you're gonna have to go to the bar to let them know you are there. I should've taken a picture of the menu posted, it's a decent assortment of sandwiches, dinners, and pizza. Always great drinks and service here. Literally the worlds greatest Bloody Mary (get the Dill sauce back!!). We rode up snowmobiling and they did the best they could with 'covid precautions'. This was hands down the worst bar ever. With COVID and everything we thought the skinny blonde waitress with the double chin would say we could sit at a table in a certain direction, but she totally ignored us as she tended to the regulars. We seated ourselves at a table and she gave us our sodas in cans, not glasses. She was the only one working so she may have been overwhelmed but she could've at least said more to us than "drinks?...okay." "ready to order?...okay." That's literally all she said to us. Our food was really good other than all that. And to top it all off, even though the door says that you have to wear a mask, the waitress wasn't wearing a mask at all, she didn't wear one while she was handling our food and she didn't even wear gloves or wash her hands in between wiping down tables and making our food. This is the place in Seney. Good bar food, fair drink prices, friendly staff. Even a dog or two seated at the bar...unusual and entertaining. A good place to unwind after a long day of fishing. Friday Night Fish Fry is a must. Be sure to plan well to make the fish fry...I have heard of people who miscalculate their fishing time on the river, miss the fish fry, and have to live with regret. Just keep driving.....We stopped at andys for lunch and drinks. All of our drinks were warm, the staff was unfriendly, and it took forever to get our food. Once we got our food, the Cole slaw burger was inedible and the Reuben had unidentifiable meat. We had to stop at a Munising gas station for pepto bismal and vernors. The clerk told us that Andy's has a bad reputation and we should have kept driving. read more
