I was never a "yogi" I more identified with "froyo" (& ABSOLUTELY YES, they can exist together!) I live in a bigger body, I think way out the box, I dress "weird", lick toads, love rocks. -TLDR she's a hippie y'all. So, Yoga to me was such a stretch (no pun intended this time) but after my first few classes (2-3 tops) I was completely hooked and they could never be rid of me! i practiced religiously, with no "goal" in sight, just a "this feels right"' so go with it feeling. Maybe... 2-3 years after practicing weekly (I believe I had joined the Karma yogi program by this point) and Shantelle asked me when I was just going to doYoga Teacher Training already! Lol love this woman! I told her my situation and the only thing "in the way" was unsteady finances. She said "well, have you applied for our tuition program?" (Definitely got the words wrong but that's how it came across lol. It helped EXPONENTIALLY and I was able to complete YTT and have been an instructor of all things that center your focus on slowing down, teach what you need right? The ocean commotion has cucumbers, apples, pineapples, and mint in it, and I tasted ALL of them. The happy baby was also a great smoothie once mangos were added to it. With just one experience, I prefer them over smoothie king because of the fresher options. The lady, who I assume is the owner, was awesome. She helped me pick my drink options, gave me reasons of why those ingredients were added together, and introduced me to the juicing program flyer (not pictured). The loft is located upstairs (haha get it- loft) and there is only a class or two going st a time. I really love the tower/reformer class. With only 4-5 students (or less) the teachers can be super hands on. I did a workout with me and one other student who was studying to become a Pilates teacher and we both got a frat workouts with the modifications given. I would go to this gym again and try out some of their other classes. January a warning. When you fill out the paper work it asks you if you are over 20 pounds.

He patiently showed me step by step exactly how to improve each lift. It took a few months but I began to see gains pretty quickly. Even though I know I need to improve much I have never felt more confident about lifting weight in the gym. I have also continuously hit new personal milestones over the past six months. I have also benefited from advice about how to tweak my diet from both Junco and Bryan. I have really enjoyed working out at Houma Cross Fit. It seems that every time I go I learn something new. It's a great workout to build your core and the instructors are very patient and knowledgeable. Bad news is that besides the already expensive pricing their cancellation policy is insane. You have to cancel a class 12 hours in advance in order to not be charged. I take classes at 6am so there's no way I know before 6pm the prior day if something may come up that requires me to cancel. So paying over $200 a month plus all these $10/$15 dollars charges whenever you may have to miss makes the pricing outlandish to me. Then, if you decide maybe I'll just book later in case something comes up there's always a waitlist. A lose/lose. Overall, a really great core workout though but just be weary on if you need to miss a class

I was looking all around Houma for some echinacea, and this was the only place around that carried it. I was surprised to find out that there was a stronger product that the owner turned me on to today that has both echinacea and golden seal. The only drawback that I found from this place was that the parking is so limited, and the sign that is traditionally next to the road has been taken down for repair. So, to find this place you have to look for the State Farm Insurance building which shares the same office space. I will definitely be going back to this place if I am ever in the need of that to remedies, and I find myself in Houma Louisiana

i was new to the area, and I was terrified to trust someone here with my hair. She confidently assured me that she understood and would have no problem doing it. I felt like she truly understood and knew what she was doing. The process took 5 hours. This was a bit concerning, because my hair stylist in NC took no more than two hours on the regular, sometimes 3 for special things. Believe me, sticker shock doesn't begin to describe how I felt, when I saw the price. It was $187. However, I thought it may be more expensive here. the lighting was not really good, so I could not tell if it looked ok, until I came home. When I saw my hair in my mirror and my lighting, I was mortified. I told her that I absolutely did not want anything that looked gold or red. That is exactly what she did. In five hours, she was unable to do the job she promised. I decided to let her know how I felt, even though I would normally have said nothing. She made me another appointment. Some small voice told me to not go back, but I believed that she did not do her job, certainly not a $187 job. However, I ignored that voice and returned. Well, I learned that I need to listen to that voice. She went over the color I wanted, and she looked at the pictures again. She, again, assured me that she understood. She then had me look at some type of hair color swatch and appeared unsure what I wanted. I pointed out the absolute lightest color. With four additional hours in her chair, I was praying that she actually knew what she was doing. I could not have been more wrong. When I saw the end result, I was near tears. The insult to injury quickly followed, when I was told that I owed over $200 for this job. I paid it, so I could just leave and go cry in my car. With tip included, I paid her nearly $500. I still do not have what I wanted, and I am scared to trust anyone else. Honestly, the allure of the "high end" appearance gives you a sense of security. It is a facade. I probably could have gone to a mall hair place and gotten better results. I am ready to drive 15 hours back to NC, where I am positive the stylist knows what they are doing. Also, my stylist would never charge me to fix something she messed up. That just magnified the horror, knowing I could not go somewhere and have it fixed, due to the damage that it would do to my hair. I do not want anyone else to have this happen to them, which is why I am writing this. I do not recommend, in fact, I caution you to not go anywhere near this salon.
