If you know you know (it is a single use connected to two underground levels of parking, a ground level and two levels above including rooftop. Opening its doors back in 2019 just before 2020 it serves as a sibling location mostly dedicated to administrative resources, art, creatives, events, senior and youth services, including housing for seniors as well as youth ages 16 to 24 who are at risk of or are currently experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Primary Care and most medical services aren't provided at this location, however they are at the McDonald/Wright Building on Schrader Blvd (within a mile of here - just south of Hollywood Blvd) and other locations. The event spaces like the Davidson/Valentini theatre, Renberg theatre, and the Anita May Rosenstein campus rooftop are incredible. I attended a Salute Event to California & Los Angeles based titled holders in the LGBTQ+ community especially those in the leather world and bear community. This was a first year event which brought together over 100+ people in such a positive way - with talks of having it run again for next year right away following incredible coordinators, staff and security of this new bold center as well as volunteers and active people in the community like myself and my boyfriend. I was really impressed by everything here and the event went off incredible with some many kudos, nods, wonderful catering, auctions for charity, nonprofits and local organizations and mingling. So many services, so much advocacy, so much community! Feeling safe, welcomed and loved by friends present and new is euphoric. Hoping to get even more involved in volunteering this later half of the year, but especially at my local LA LGBT Centers like the McCadden Pl Anita May Rosenstein location. Nicole Richie turning it out last year as a volunteer for a full day in all areas including senior activities, culinary arts and cultural arts programs was pretty cool to see because all are welcome and we love our allies!!
