The majority of the woman in my family are quite petite and so it is rare to find clothes that fit us perfectly, so when my uncle found her on Yelp we thought we would try her out. Two years later and my cousins from New York and Chicago now come with suitcases filled with clothing to alter and Angel has so much patience it's unbelievable! She knows exactly what to do no matter the material and is very professional. She is very reasonably priced, understands urgency (she once altered one of my homecoming dresses within two days despite about 50 pairs of pant she needed to hem), and will accommodate if you need your clothing back by a certain time. I must say however that the building, however, was a bit hard to find but after the first time, it's super easy to spot. Parking is also a little bit tricky, you can either park on the street on in the side lot which is a bit tight but I have always found a spot. Wow! From start to finish, this was an amazing experience! I needed a zipper to be put into a jumpsuit and also for it to be hemmed once the zipper was put in because I could no longer fit the jumpsuit over my hips. My cleaners said it couldn't be done, and my mom, who made her own wedding dress and brides maids dresses, said she wasn't sure id she could do it without ruining it because it has a lot of ruching and smocking as well as a lined bodice, but I really wanted to wear this jumpsuit on a cruise I had coming up in five days. This place was recommended to me as being always good work and fast. They left out that she is also really nice and easy to work with!! I first called to see if she could do it and for a quote. She wouldn't commit without seeing it first, which makes sense. I drove in to show her the piece and she looked at it and said yes. I then asked if it could be done before Sunday. She said she could have the zipper done in three days and then I could try it on to be hemmed. Done! I was very pleased with the work and the price and she even remembered that I was going on a cruise and wished me well!! She is so pleasant and professional!! I took my wedding dress to Angel to have it taken in (I had lost 30 lbs & we were having a marriage blessing done a year & half after our original wedding. ) & hemmed shorter. She did a GREAT job. This place might be smaller than other places but the workmanship surpasses all others. I got several pairs of jeans hemmed at a different tailor...no names (g & g tailors in brea) overpriced, headaches, and not on time. But at Angel...The price is great at 4 dollars for hemming. The lady who owns the shop is very friendly and takes the time to get to know you. She does great work and never had any issues or complaints about her work. Never once has she been late. I love this place! I have never been disappointed. The lady who pretty much runs the place by herself is kind and patient. Half of the pants in my wardrobe fit perfectly now because of her. I buy a lot of vintage trousers that are sometimes 4 to 6 sizes to big and she manages to make them hug my waist. I come here all the time and recommend it 100%. I will not take my clothes to anyone other than Angel. There are never, ever any problems with the quality of her work, and she doesn't give negative pushback when you inquire about something you want done. Over time, I have found that I can trust her opinion about the cut of clothes with respect to my body type. She can take a junk item and make it custom fit for you, and therefore make it look expensive. The fact that she is so friendly and open to dialogue is what makes her an excellent entrepreneur; it really is all about the customer with Angel. She is fast too! read more
