My only (minor) gripe is with one of the staff members, a blonde lady, who can be fairly rude about what you're donating. My wife and I gave a Cuisinart appliance, a DeWalt cordless drill, a few odds and ends, and a pair of Wolverine work boots. The stink face she made at the boots was insulting. Before I could tell her what a used pair typically runs, she tossed them in a bin and made a bee line elsewhere. Sad. Just a week earlier, I took a few items in and everything went great with different person who was extremely appreciative.

The building had a roof job done but the contractor did shoddy work, charged an arm and a leg and refused to do repairs! That contractor has done the same to countless others who do not have the means to have another come in to fix his work! Now JK Treasures needs a whole new roof due to this contractors incompetence and the owners cannot afford it! People dump trashed items in their parking lot and the on site owners have to pay for the removal but get rude people bad mouthing them! People rummage through items and leave messes. Yes it is crowded with donated and consignment items but maybe y'all should take the time to put something back. Or better yet, offer to help! This second hand store has amazing prices and if more people took the time to shop there instead of judging how the building looks they'd find treasures! Since this is a senior thrift store, I feel like items should be priced to actually sell. Then on the far right you go down a few steps to the whole clothing area. I didn't look too much through those clothes as I came mostly for kitchenware and potentially furniture. Lots of unused or new cookware in original packaging, a modest electrochromic section, some home decor, and a few pieces of furniture still in original boxes so it was difficult to see what type of furniture it was. Although our visit was fruitless and we didn't purchase anything, I'd go back and check this location out every so often. That's the beauty of thrifting; maybe better luck next time.
