I was intrigued by the concept of this store, but after visiting, I would probably not return. The space is just too claustrophobic. There are too many, tiny stalls stuffed with far too much random stuff, making it difficult to peruse comfortably. Not to mention, there is A LOT of junk (most of which is overpriced). I think this store could be really interesting if there were some higher standards regarding the quality and quantity of merchandise allowed in the space. I went to New 2 you today since I had 40 minutes before I had to go get my children from school. So I did what I always have done which is take my time and look for what I want. Same as everyone else. I noticed that I was being followed around by two employees , I can only imagine it's because I have tattoos on face. I previously have had wonderful encounters , I have been going to this store for over 6 years. The man who owns the store even commended me on my well behaved son and gave him a free ice cream and me a free coffee. But this time around I was followed so much after the male employee asked me if I needed any help and I replied no. The 8th time I caught him passing me it made me super uncomfortable as I have anxiety and ptsd , I asked him if he was following me around because he thought I was going to steal, he replied if I was following you it wasn't because you were stealing. It would be because you're attractive. Which made me uncomfortable. He came by 4 more times joking and laughing telling me if I decided to steal that they have a no chase policy so wall fast. I then replied only thing I run for is donuts. I was then approached by a older women with Grey hair who came up and said my employee said you said you were going to steal in my establishment. I was totally blind sided and shocked I replied that he had been following me around and I was super uncomfortable by the end and that's why I asked him why he was following me. She screamed get the fuck out of my store. Her and 4 or 5 other employees literally walked me out the store. I was so humiliated that I sat in my car and started bawling..imagine somewhere you have gone for years discriminating and then kicking you out of their business when I was definitely not stealing 2 tarot decks and incense. the guy worker on Friday did not do a good job with the upset customer. she had a good point.... as I shopped friday a lady was upset on how he handled the kid outside. she stood up for boy not just because I think was her son but really because basically the worker bullied the boy. he basically implied the kid was horrible and just judged him that he would be a horrible kid. not all kids do stupid stuff. not all kids do it on purpose. the guy worker really should have let the girl worker with him deal with it as she was going to 1st. he is a big guy, long brown hair, talks with a liss, has a mustache. this is an adult n he walks out to a kid. the lady basically told him he just approached wrong and didn't have to assume he was doing it on purpose. what really had me was he yelled at her and denied his actions. (you don't always have to say exactly what you mean. you can basically imply it with words and actions) she was standing at the counter from the time the girl got the broom and he took it from her. I used to love this place, but the last couple times I've visited there's been a new guy. Not sure if he's a manager or security or what, but I can tell you he makes customers uncomfortable. I feel like I'm being followed, not in a friendly check-in kind of way, like I'm being stalked through the store kind of way. On one occasion I was accused of switching tags of items. Today's situation was the endless awkward comments and jokes that were made. He came up to us 6 times in the 15-20 minutes we spent shopping and finally we were just so uncomfortable we decided to leave. Not sure the finds are worth the hassle. read more

I'll rate it pretty high because it's so big with so many dealers and I've even a couple of times found stuff I wanted that wasn't overpriced. But in my many areas of interest they never have much and I never really expect to find anything significant for myself. Mostly the stock is what you see in every aggregate of absentee stall-renters. There are a few vendors who do go beyond the usual, like a stall with lots of vintage tools; and there's a specialist in coin collecting with a lot of stock on display making it a must-visit location for anyone who likes coins. With so many dealers, some are always ridiculously high-priced and you could end up paying $10 for something they stocked in from the dollar store. On the other hand, there are always 40% and 50% discounts popping up for some of the stalls every day. The floor-plan is not grocery-store friendly. You can't go through it rationally and may get confused and not know quite which aisles you've already investigated. Adds to the adventure I suppose. There's a Goodwill in the same mall so you can hit two used goods stores in one. read more

What a great store! This place is packed with anything and everything you can imagine that somebody out there wants to sell! There's plenty of antiques, some clothes, a ton of books, knick knacks galore and nice furniture. If you want it, you'll find it here! Prices are all over the place! It's a gigantic sea of booths, each priced and maintained by the individuals renting the space so there is no rhyme nor reason to pricing! There are a lot of spaces that are having a "sale" so some of the prices become reasonable. There are many spaces that have outrageous prices that make you furrow your brows, and then there are those spaces that are owned by normal right minded people that realize they are selling used goods at a gigantic yard sale!! The layout is extremely confusing and leaves you lost wondering where you've been, where you're going and where the front door is! Just when I thought I was done an entire new section opened up before me! I'm sure some of the spaces get entirely missed due to the layout and lack of defined aisles. I guess I won't miss them though, I'll be visiting again soon to wander through the maze of treasures! read more

For what it is, it's a good looking store. It's a collective. That means each shelf or section belongs to a different antique dealer or just an ex hoarder . So you see all sorts of varieties. Some it's the same kind of stuff that you would find at a goodwill but there are some hidden gems. I would definitely come back from time to time to explore and have fun. read more

I love this store in fact I was going to rent a space there. I shop there about 2xs a month and spend between 100 to 300 bucks a trip usually. But this last time I went I was approached by some guy claiming to be loss prevention and saying I did something in the camera he didn't understand and then asked if I had any merchandise in my bag. I informed him I hadn't even touched anything but the ice cream and offered to show him inside my purse and everything and he continued to harass me. First off I feel sorry for the ppl that rent a space there that big dummy is chasing off good honest customers by his dumb and inexperienced loss prevention strategies. I bet they have a huge losses every month because that guy goes around flapping his gums telling everybody he's loss prevention and giving any thief the upper hand they know who u are and u have no idea who they are and by doing that now they have time to call their buddies and while your busy accusing innocent ppl of nothing your not paying attention to the 5 ppl robbing u blind cuz they know who to look for new to you should refund all their monthly space payments and fire that idiot that clearly has no retail lp experience...dude you ain't loss prevention might as well be standing on the curb with everything's free inside sign... These boys loved this store specifically for finding interesting hats, are good boys, and would not steal. They have money. It was wildly unnecessary. I like this place. Its right next to my favorite pizza joint. Great staff. They have a beautiful selection of old records, and even 45's. I have only had one bad experience, when I was in high-school. but I don't think the guy who was being a jack-a** still works there, so i wont get into that. Major disappointment! Have been to this store several times in the past and enjoyed the eclectic mix. Today was nothing like our previous visits! What a bunch of junk!! Many booths were full of just plain crappy stuff! Worse than thrift store shopping - not that thrift store shopping is bad!! - I actually enjoy the hunt!! Several spaces had very little in them making me wonder how on earth they are making their rent, let alone making a profit. This place has definitely took a turn for the worse. This store is a great place if you like to go thrifty shopping for second hand treasues. A rather large store full of independent booths of used items. Things you might see on any given visit to this place include retro and vintage clothing items, used furniture, jewlery, hand made craft goods, coins, knick-knacks, and such. You could easily spend hours in here looking at all the items for sale at this store. And the inventory changes quickly. The things i love about this store is 1. There are so many little nooks and crannies to this store, you could literally spend all day going through each little booth. The price points are all over, since its kind of like consignments. 2. The coffee shop. I think that is a really cool addition to a thrift shop that gives it a cozy feeling and makes you want to stay a little longer. The one thing i don't like about the place is the hit or miss costumer service, I have been in there and got really great costumer service and then there are times when it sucks, specifically one of the guys walking around on the floor, I asked about rocking chairs and he huffed, you just have to look around, its a big store they're all over. And walked away mumbling. Very rude. Also some of the cashiers can be snootyBut i will still go here because i like looking at all of the trinkets and variety of the store. I don't know what those "out of towners" are talking about. New 2 You is rapidly becoming the best thrift stop to shop in Port Orchard. I like St. Vinnie's, but their prices have gone too high for just plain stuff you can get for a little more at Walmart. I have bought several items at N 2 U and all were reasonably priced. No one accosted me, no one insulted me, and all in the store as employees were considerate and helpful. Like anywhere else, if you start down aisle one and work your way back you will catch all. But it takes more than one session to really browse, as there are a lot of books, records, antiques, old stuff, fun stuff, everything under the sun to explore. I paid much more than I could afford for a wonderful, well-made older sectional simply because the booth operates to support servicemen and women, the Military, of which I am a retired one. (wife, Viet Nam). I love this store. I wonder if the complainants aren't getting "Jacob's Well" on Mile Hill -Jackson, confused with New 2 You, as there is definitely a problem with the proprietor, who is not only rude but intrusive. I would love to look at the wonderfully piled heaps of stuff in his shop, but don't like to go in there because he won't leave you alone and can quote any price he desires, as nothing is marked. I do not know if his store runs on donations or is taxed or not, as I have heard complaints from other businesses in Port Orchard. I don't mind "clutter" in thrift shops. It's more like the old days when you went into the general stores and could find anything you wanted, whether you knew what it was or not--a mysterious "gadget", "thingamajig", or "whatchamacallit". A couple of stores down on Bay Street are nice, too, but keep changing names and hands. read more

I like this store coz they have lots to offer but the last purchase was REALLY DISAPPOINTING. I found a pressure cooker in this store and before paying for it i asked the lady in the counter that if theres a problem with it , if i can return it. She said all sales are final. Then the other lady said she doesnt see any reason why its not going to work. I told them im a bit worried about the pressure cooker having some kind of a leak or problem that if i start using it, it will not pressurize the meat at all. She then looked at the tag and said that the seller "611" is very reliable that she will never put anything in store that has a problem with it. I believed them so i paid $40 for it. Sure enough when i tried using it the next day, there was a leak and water keeps drippin all over the handle even though its closed. I just lost $40 just because seller "611" wants to make extra money out of pressure cooker that has A BIG PROBLEM with it. read more
