I loved going to the original owners of Angel Lash and had no idea that they changed ownership! My first impression of the new owners was not great cause I was told just a few minutes before my appointment that they moved locations from Koreatown to Glendale. What was normally just a 20 min drive for me turned into an hour and if it weren't for me going on vacation the next day I would have rescheduled. The couple was very very nice and did their best to accommodate me. The lashes were beautiful and lasted a long time, that has not changed but the price has definitely gone up. What used to be $100 lashes with the original owners is $200+. I would have gone back if the prices remained the same. But if you're in the area and you're used to paying that, they do great work and the lashes are beautiful. read more

She's become extremely busy so it's a good 1-2 week advance booking to get a weekend slot. She goes out of her way to accommodate her clients, so she comes in at 8:30am to do mine sometimes! You lay on a bed in a little room in the back (sketchy? no, lol) and this woman meticulously puts single lashes on your real lashes. She is Awesome but make a appointment 2 weeks ahead. I had my lashes done here by the other woman, not the owner. She struggled with the tape, refused to communicate with me *at all*, and burned my eye very badly when she dripped a large amount of glue into it. She noticed my eye was watering like crazy, so she spent at least 10 mins mopping that up and blowing a fan at my eye. After all was said and done, they looked fine, so I tipped $20 and left. The next morning nearly all of the lashes had fallen out. Overnight. What was left was clumpy. I texted the owner, who was apologetic and offered a refund. I asked if she could just fix them. We set an appointment for the following week. When I got there, the same woman was doing my lashes, which was a disappointment, but no burning this time and though the tape ordeal was a nightmare again, they looked good when I was done. Then, the tech says to the owner 'what should she pay?' The owner tells me they'll, as a courtesy, waive this fee (thanks, that's why I'm here, as we discussed), but to give the tech a tip. I try to explain that ok, but that feels wrong, since I just had to waste a total of four hours for something that should take two. The owner just insisted, 'yes, she spent her time', sort of oblivious to the fact that I was the one having my time wasted due to her employee's ineptitude. I sighed, gave a small tip, thanked them, and left. Three weeks later and they're all gone, so I text for a fill. I text three times over three days. No reply. I have a friend text, immediate reply. So now I'm being ignored by them, for asking them to fix what they messed up in the first place. This place is a waste of time. read more

I've referred two of my friends here,too and they love them! I've gotten my eyelashes done here twice now. I think Seeha does a great job and it's really relaxing. She doesn't get any glue in your eyes (I've heard some places do) and she's very gentle. I was nervous my first time since I had never had them done, but they do a great job! After one month of having them, they still look great! The environment is very relaxed and lowkey, but a huge perk is that they have free parking behind the building, which is pretty convenient. Be sure to drive slow when you're coming close to the location because the turn is pretty quick. You pull in between two walls to enter the lot. Once you park, you'll walk up a flight of stairs on the right as you face the street. They keep the door locked, so you'll just knock! As for payment, they take cash or PayPal. I have gone to Angel Lash for a half a year now, and although the service has always been sub par (i.e. Angel would talk on the phone while doing my lashes, AC is off on hot days, etc..) I went here because the price was affordable. I went to Angel Lash today for a refill and she burned my hand with the hot glue, because she was on the phone (again!!) while she was doing my lashes. I was visibly in pain, but all she could say was "Why did you move?". Let me get this straight- your going to blame the customer for something that you could've prevented? I would have appreciated an apology, but she did not extend one. Rather, she said verbatim, "Why should I be sorry? " (Umm...Because you burned your customer while talking on the phone.) In the end, I paid the $70 because I was too exhausted to reason with her, and it was clear that she did not give a damn whether or not she hurt her customer in her place of business. I will NEVER go back here. P.S. She will give you a cheaper price if you speak to her in Korean over the phone. read more

I'm not as impressed as the other reviewers. Whenever the lashes get touched gently, the direction of the lashes move to an awkward alignment. The eyelash extensions I've done before from other technicians felt fuller, softer, and more natural (silky). These feel super stiff and looks noticeably fake. I suspect that these lashes are cheaper quality. The experience: No introduction. I wasn't even sure I was getting my lashes done by Seeha until I got her email to pay via paypal. (Side note: no cash). She was busy texting when I initially laid down and she answered calls while working on my lashes. Towards the end, I felt a discomforting sensation as it felt like she was pulling out and re-doing some of the lashes. It took exactly an hour. Areas around the eyes are sensitive. Professionals gently peel off the tape in slow-mo as they hold down the skin with the fingers for gentle pull. The worst amateur move at the end was when she literally yanked off the tapes off my skin. Why? Oh the horror. Finale is when she just blew air a few times with a manual air pumper. Instead of spending time texting in the beginning of session, I would have appreciated adequate time for a mini fan or automatic hand held dryer so my eyes don't burn as much, thank you. I do appreciate the fact that I look better with longer lashes but I don't think this is the best quality of lashes or the best quality of work. I can't wait to redo from somewhere else. read more

Okay so I am about a week overdue on writing this review.. LASHES?!?!?! I'm obsessed!!! I've gotten my eyelash extensions done many times in various different places however, none came to meet my expectations except ANGEL! I have found my new found, go- to place for my eyelash extensions. Because I was never satisfied, I always stuck with the regular, darkness brand lashes you put on yourself. Wearing those on an almost daily basis made my lashes really weak and I lost many single lashes due to that. MUST BOOK APPOINTMENT. Because Angel is amazing at lash extensions, make an appointment 1 week ahead. I made mine for 7:15 pm on a Monday night. I waited about 5 mins due to her finishing up on a client. When I told her I wanted long full lashes, she told me because my lashes were a bit damaged she couldn't go too long on me. I was okay with that because I would rather have her renew the health of my lashes rather than having them all fall off.. She took about an hour and when I opened my eyes, I was in LOVEEEEE!!!! The length was a medium length but they were FULL. She took her time and made sure that every single lash had an extension on it! Honestly, with these lash extensions, you don't even need to wear eye makeup... They make that much of a difference ;) Anyways, she costs $70 for a full set and same price for fill. Usually other lash places have a cheaper cost for fills, but for Angel the price is all the same.. Also, she moved locations to the building next to the salon where she used to be at... PLEASE NOTE SHE HAS MOVED TO: 422 S. WESTERN AVE. STE. 207 LA, CA 90020. Parking: There is street parking in front but also a parking lot in the back of the building. From the parking lot, you can go up the stairs located on the side of the building which will lead you to the second floor. I decided to visit Angel Lash after learning of it via Yelp and am so happy that I did. Seeha is very skilled and did an excellent job with my lash extensions. I was very pleased with the service that I received and definitely plan on returning. Angel Lash is located in a rather austere office building on Western Avenue. There is a parking lot behind the building, but I got dropped off because my life is sweet. There was no fussy consultation or menus with endless lash and price permutations. She simply asked what I wanted - thick? long? - and got to work immediately. The entire session took just over an hour, and that's including the amount of time it took for her to remove my prior extensions. The results were very natural. Almost a bit too natural I think. I generally prefer a more ostentatious anime eye so I think I will ask for something a bit more extreme during my next visit. $100 for first timers and $80 for each subsequent visit, which I feel is more than reasonable. I happened to find Angel lash when i was in a crunch and needed to get my lashes done the same day for an event. Somehow they were able to fit me in within the hour. Let me tell you how pleased i am with the work of Joyce. She does take her time to make sure each individual lash is placed correctly and the lashes look amazing. Typically it takes about an hour and a half to get a full set. My lashes are already pretty long but i like to get lashes so i don't have to constantly use mascara and curl them frequently. Joyce uses the #10,11 and 12 lengths to give me that perfect flair towards the ends of my eyes. As i had visited multiple other lash places, i noticed some sets would fall off in a week (what a waste of money) and others lasted about 2 weeks. The way Joyce puts on the lashes (which is magic) they usually last me about 4-5 weeks if taken care of properly (no rubbing the eyes and washing gently). I'd have to say that the key to wearing no makeup is having good lashes. It is definitely worth the investment - especially if you have an event coming up or you are going on a trip. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with Joyce's work and have been going consistently the past year. Angel lash i feel lasts better than every single other place I have been to (and I've been to many). Joyce usually is only there Tuesday and Wednesday. Make sure you schedule with her about a week to two weeks ahead of time as she gets booked fast. Angel never rushed, she really took her time and I ended up with my lashes looking better than what I had imagined. The best part is that you can't tell that I have lash extensions in.
