I almost wish they offered more beauty services bc it's clear they're not only exceptional in the services they're offering but how to run a successful business. Originally booked an appointment for brow shaping and brow dye + lash dye but had to cancel because I got sick. Amanda reached out personally and helped me reschedule. I haven't had my brows shaped for years and was basically like, "natural-ish but more put together" and despite my vague mumbling the end result felt like it couldn't have been more flattering if it tried. I went here yesterday for the first time and the place is really clean and cute. Coral did my eyebrows tweeze and she was great. She took her time with my eyebrows and they turned out so perfect and clean. She asked me if there were any adjustments and i said no since they looked amazing. I was getting my eyebrows at another place but decided to give Iris and West a chance since it was in my neighborhood and just 2 blocks away from my home. I am so glad i did. Okay I had lost all hope in eyelash extensions prior to meeting Coral! I'm the type of girly that hates when my lash extensions are soooo dramatic (to each their own I support it on other people) but it's just not for me. Every time I had gone to other places I would ask for NATURAL and would come out looking crazy lol! So I gave up on lash extensions for about a year. Then I moved to LA and randomly stumbled upon the Iris and West Insta! I loved their aesthetic online but again I was nervous to actually try them out. I've been going to Iris and West for over a year and I love them. I've had eyelash and brow services from Amanda, Anais, and Coral and they are all excellent. I now go to Coral for my eyelashes every 2-3 weeks and she does such a great job and makes me feel so beautiful. My lashes are full but not fake looking and I get a ton of compliments on them. She also carefully listens to little tweaks and changes I want to account for my eye shape and implements those things perfectly (she even made a special lash kit she uses just for me). Even facialists have mistaken them for being natural. I enjoy chatting but also love getting some good napping in, and Coral doesn't seem to mind either way! The eyebrows I've been waiting 3 years for! It was almost impossible finding a good place in LA to get my eyebrows done but finally I found Iris & West! Amanda suggested a tint for my eyebrows due to having light hair, she walked me through each step, showed me what she was doing & asked if I wanted anything different. My brows look so good! I recommend paying $40-50 more and going to a place with parking, professional reception, and no mask mandates. 1. Biggest complaint is the receptionist girl (if she even has that title). The door says locked on the outside, and the instructions given on the appointment email mention someone will come greet you at the front door of phoenix suites following a text. However, the front door girl snarks at me to come into the lobby (not a real lobby) and says: "you don't have to wait outside you know" with an eye roll. As I wait in lobby (?) for the lash person, I ask the front desk girl if it's common to wait in this area for the service, and she says: "it's whatever you want to do".... Hmm, It's my first time here I don't know what is expected, I was hoping the phoenix suites representative to shed guidance. After awkward silence, she walks me to the lash room shrugging her shoulders and lifting her eyebrows at the lash person taking my appointment. How is this supposed to make a new client feel welcomed? 2. You have to wear a mask throughout the service. 40 minutes with a mask was brutal. Not a mandate anywhere else but here. I would gladly pay an extra $40 anywhere else to not to wear a mask. 3. Paid parking option is at an apartment complex lot or street. You need to wait in your car to be texted in to your appointment as there is no lobby and they are still fearing COVID. ‍ 4. Lash lift was meh. read more

Got my brows laminated and really hated them so much that i cried once i got to my car. When i went to get my ticket validated for parking, the girl at the desk was staring directly at them and chuckled. What a waste of $120ish + tip. I never wanted to die more than ever after seeing myself in the mirror after that service. I feel as though they should definitely give you a consultation to see if you would be a good fit for that service as I've seen that option elsewhere, because it definitely isn't a look for everybody. It was also weird being in the room while another person was having their service done too. I'm not trying to hear the other convo going on, especially during covid. The owner is kind of rude, the other girl is really cool. They also press you to pay through venmo and then press you for your next schedule services. read more

I went to Anais for my lash extensions here at Iris + West and I was completely blown away at how incredible they turned out! Anais listened to my desires which was a more dramatic and full set and she executed the extensions perfectly, AND she was extremely gentle through the whole process. I have very sensitive eyes and they weren't bothered one bit. Anais also explained before hand and during, what she was doing while applying the lashes, which made me feel at ease and comfortable. Previously I had dramatic lash extensions from another lash studio and you could really tell that they were fake. NOT THE CASE HERE! My lashes look so full and natural and I get so many compliments on them, and it makes me feel beautiful and fluttery. I have also went back for a fill after 3 weeks and my experience was just as great! This is now my go to place and person for lashes, and I recommend both to anyone wanting jaw dropping lashes. It's crazy that these ladies don't have more reviews! Anais is incredible. Before I came in I unknowingly received a bad, over-processed lash lift from an expensive salon in Beverly Hills. Instead of turning me away, she was able to fix my lash lift at a discounted price and then one week later, spent 2.5hrs meticulously applying lash extensions. All in all with a fill, she's rehab-ed my lashes and spent around 7hrs of her time on one client for the most reasonable cost in LA. It's so hard to find trustworthy beauty services in this city, but every review here is true - there's no reason to get your lashes done anywhere else. You've got to be kidding me!!! Amanda is an absolute guru and I have never been more happy wearing absolutely no makeup. These ladies really have the white glove service down pat but let me just enumerate them here because the world needs to know: 1- they were super kind in all the correspondence beforehand 2-they spend a few minutes going over safety and process details and their COVID precautions are super thorough 3- they're the right amount of conversational 4- they explained what they were doing and what products they were using all throughout. Such a good experience!!! The lashes are so full, yet natural, exactly what I asked for. The space was super clean and well curated - nice decor, good music, sanitizer etc. She was really thoughtful in explaining the lash type/style options and how to best care for them. Not very personable which is okay because you'll be pushed in and out of the appointments like a conveyor belt. There is no understanding when you have to be a little late, yet when they had to be late due to something, my time was not valued at all, nor did I receive extra time for it. Overall if you essentially have no lashes and want it to look like you have the bare minimum lashes (that you can't really put mascara on) then it's the place for you. If you want "extensions" then seek elsewhere because other people will be questioning what you just spent over $100 on. read more
