Angel Mountain was perfect, and Linda is absolutely AMAZING!!! I cannot say enough good things about either. The venue is gorgeous, needs very little decorating. Linda sold herself from our very first meeting. Angel was the first venue we toured, we went to two others after, but neither could compare to Angels beauty or Lindas charisma. She was there every step of the way to answer any questions I had or offer up suggestions when I was stumped. With her as my day of coordinator, I knew I didn't have to worry about anything. This venue is absolutely amazing. The inside is very elegant and clean. We got married in the chapel portion of the venue, and had a wonderful ceremony. The reception area is big and open as well. My favorite part of the entire place though is the back patio which has lots of room for guests to relax and chat away from noise. Not to mention the stunning sunset view that you get from the back patio. On top of the venue being so beautiful itself, the owner (Linda) was great to work with. She was so helpful preparing for our wedding, and coordinating on the day of the event. Both of us have never been married before, and Linda was awesome to ask advice or bounce ideas off of. She knew what she was doing 100%, and our day wouldn't have been as great as it was without her. I would highly recommend Angel Mountain Events to anyone getting married!!! read more

Met with Linda at Angel Mountain events planning my daughters wedding. This was the first venue we visited last September when we started planning. The ambiance of this beautiful venue, when combined with Linda's charm and expertise sealed the deal for us. And I am so glad my daughter loved this venue. Thanks to Linda, I will sleep tonight, and with the wedding later this month that says a lot. She and Matt are wonderful. So glad to have them involved. I have yet to have an event out at Angel Mountain but I have worked with the owner very closely. She is very determined, hard-working and detail oriented. I plan on hosting a party out at Angel Mountain Events in the Spring and am very excited about it. Plus, it is SOOOOO pretty out there in Bastrop...what a great place to have a wedding.... Getting married is a big deal and finding the right venue is one of the most stressful parts of planning. Luckily Angel Mountain exists and we found them! Angel Mountain is, dare I say, an angelic venue. It is warm, romantic, AND immaculate. From the entry door of the venue down to the mirrors in the, oh so, heavenly restrooms, their attention to detail blew us away. Linda and Matt made us feel like we were creating our perfect wedding with family members (you know, the close family members that you actually WANT to invite to your big day). The realization of our wedding at Angel Mountain was a "piece of cake" thanks to their expertise and kindness. It was an exceptional experience. Linda and Angel Mountain Events were amazing to work with! Linda is so organized and detailed that we had no worries that everything would run smoothly the day of. She checked in with us multiple times leading up to the month of the wedding, answered all our questions, and made sure we had a plan for all the vendor arrivals and setup so we didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day. The venue itself is beautiful and was perfect for our wedding. We hired some of her suggested vendors and some of our own - all were fantastic and Linda made sure everyone worked perfectly together. We were lucky to find that Angel Mountain was going to be ready for the date we set for our daughters wedding. Linda was a life saver! She took over and took the stress away! I just recently had my wedding on October 15,2016 at Angel Mountain Events. The venue is beautiful but not worth the stress that the wedding coordinator at the venue created. She was very helpful until the night of the rehearsal where she decided to treat my bridal party like children she actually yelled at child for being on stage in the chapel. She repeatedly put in her opinion of how my wedding should be, instead of just running through the rehearsal like I wanted. We finally made it through rehearsal where everyone felt like we were walking on eggshells. The next day, " wedding day" as soon as I arrived to the venue to get ready she was yelling at my photographer for driving up the driveway the wrong way. It started there and never really stopped. She was calling me "BRIDEZILLA", when referring to me towards my bartender. She was very upset about my photo booth and cookie bar the day of the wedding. It was then brought to my attention that her husband was digging through my matron of honor's bag in the bridal suite where another bridesmaid was in where they barged in while she was getting ready. She proceeds to pull me aside to fill me in on the incident during my wedding. She was very unprofessional. I let her know to not talk or touch anyone's property. Her husband was parking guests cars so I can't really say what he went through in the cars. After the cake cutting I asked about the off duty security I paid for she tells one of my bridesmaids that they came and left so I was left without security that she said I was required to have. We are packing up the rest of our belongings to leave the venue and the cops show up her husband has called the cops on us for a rowdy crowd the report was a false claims and the cops left the venue. I just want to say that if it wasn't for my friends and family my wedding would have been terrible. I would really like to save the next bride the pain we experienced. I only gave 1 star because yelp wouldn't let me save my review. read more
