I've been going here for a few months and the service is SO INCONSISTENT. Had Lee a few weeks ago and my nails were amazing. Went in before a trip a few days ago and the lady working on my nails couldn't have cared less. Rough with my hand positioning, completely missing the side edge on every nail AND got mad because the lamp wasn't curing the polish. She had to re do some nails and as I'm leaving says "It SHOULD be dry, but come back if not.". Why wouldn't you just do it right to begin with?? I'm now three days out and got the lovely surprise that my nails in fact didn't cure under the top layer of gel when they started to lift. I now have to find a random salon to just get this off my nails. There's some amazing staff here but it's becoming roulette if you book an appointment without picking someone specifically. read more

Decided to try this place for the first time and got a French manicure. The whites sections were crooked, the nails were filed at a slope. After asking for it to be fixed the job was still mediocre. I will not be back. read more

I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure on 8/22 Jimmy did the worst French paint job on the planet it chipped within hours. I contacted them on 8/23, came in on 8/25, 27 and 30th trying to get it repaired. On the 30th I came in complained and asked to have them fixed. While waiting for my nails to get the gel off I got my eyebrows waxed. Not only did they wreck my nails they waxed off half my eyebrows left chucks missing and when I complained. Jimmy the owner/manager said that he would call the police because I asked for a refund. As you can see they waxed off the entire upper part of my eyebrows. I was looking for a clean nail salon to get a pedicure and absolutely found it. Have you ever gotten a pedi and they use some 'community' pumice stone to get the dead skin off your heels? Sadly I have and it eeks me out just thinking about it. At this salon they take all the precautions when it comes to being sanitary. All tools are taken out of a fresh sealed package and they use a plastic liner in the foot bath. So this place definitely has the cleanliness that I expect. But they are also extremely friendly. I left with the most perfect nail polish and the smoothest skin from their high-end products. The scrub and lotion left me with baby soft feet and calves. Went there, the people were nice and the massages were nice as well. However, I came here to get my nails done and I chose the dip and within 2 days my nails were peeling. In 4 days from when I got it done my nails had chipped- and that shouldn't happen when you get the dip. The whole reason my sister and my mom and I got our nails done in the first place was for my sister's wedding and they didn't even make it until then. Very disappointed. read more

Don't be fooled by pleasant surroundings. This place is terrible. Gel manicure started to chip after three days. At six days I had several nails with chips and peels. Went in to ask for redo as at least half of nails were coming off. I had to argue with them. They said it was my nails that were the problem. Finally they agreed to redo and started to put the polish on refusing to file my nails where there we problems. I said if you don't fix the nail before the gel then the same problem of chipping and peeling will happen again. I was so upset I walked out without any polish on I left without a manicure and without a redo and without a refund. Very bad customer service. Will never go back. There are many reputable nail salons elsewhere. read more

Got my "gel" nails for a wedding. Chipped the next day on the tips of the nails. Wasn't sealed properly and didn't have the thicker look like gel. I've had my nails done every 3 weeks for the past year and have never experienced such a poor paint job. Went in to show them, hoping they could just fix it and was told it was because my nails were "too short". My nails were not too short. Disappointed in their customer service, and won't be going back/recommending. Do yourself a favor and head down to Fabulous Nails downtown Wayzata or honestly just do them yourself. I have gotten several services from here and while the people are nice that is as far as I can recommend them. I thought my first dip powder nail experience was a mishap on my part (within a few days it began discoloring to a dark grey overlay of the actual pink color, cracks started and it even chipped), however I wasn't out rock climbing or doing anything other than traveling and shopping. I had them remove it when I got home and do a regular mani pedi with polish that lasted all of 12 hours and created a cut finger. Before my last event I decided to give them another try. Needless to say I was 3 days in and hundreds of miles away when the grey discoloration began, the shiny polish portion started peeling off, huge cracks occurred and the major chipping began. I had gel nails for years and never had these issues, so either all the rave of dip powder nails is a total sham or this place does not follow through with the proper technique. I do not do anything which would be causing these issues, especially with them happening twice in a very short period of time with 2 different colors and different nail techs. I can understand color slightly fading after a week, it looking less fab after 2-3 weeks or something because I realize it won't stay perfect or forever and I expected a 2 week wear. I have friends who have dip nails last 2-3 weeks, colors do not change and they don't start looking this way throughout their wear so I know something is off. I also was not given the small "cash discount" advertised. read more

My sister, mother and I visited the salon this weekend. My mother is 89 years old and her feet have seen better days. Andy spent over an hour on my mom's feet removing dead skin, reshaping her nails and more. It was an amazing transformation. It made us realize how important it is to take care of our feet as you age. To top it off, he was so very kind to my mom and made her feel comfortable and at ease. By far one of the best nail salon experiences I've ever had! Angel Nails & Beauty is very clean, has a variety of mani/ pedi services and offers high quality products. I had existing gel polish on my nails and they took the time to hand file and wrap with acetone to remove. Most places I've gone use an electric file which damages my nails. Angel's also used high quality lotion during my manicure and pedicure. To top it all off, all the employees were super friendly and always checking to see if we liked the color, water temperature, etc. I will definitely be back soon! read more
