Leah is very skilled, probably the most talented colorist I have encountered in my 15 years of getting my hair done. I was devastated when Leah moved me off her books. She did this to focus on her hair extension business, and referred me to Emily Radford. I am currently brunette, with the request to make my way to blonde, I asked for highlights and provided a few inspirational pictures. What I received was very minimal, I could not see a change in my hair aside from 2 chunky highlights at the front of my hair. I understand it takes time to break up brown hair, but i received was unexpected. I was charged $348. Emily is young, new in her career, which I was happy to give her a chance. Moreover, Leah, the owner of the salon has never charged me over $220, and would exceed my expectations. I am extremely sad with the results from this time around, or lack of results rather. I asked for the situation to be made, right, and resolved but Emily said since too much time passed she will not fix or refund. Yes, it has been more than 7 days, but my hair is the same as it was when I walked out of the salon on 10/19, its still brunette, with no highlights except in the front. It took me until today, 12/3 to find the courage to say something about the situation. Lavish salon will charge with you steep unreasonable, unjustifiable prices, without any explanation or preparation of price point. I was blind sided by the price of $348. I cannot afford this price point for my hair, and I am still in need of getting my hair corrected, and will need to pay another salon to make this right. I feel taken advantage of. Save yourself the $ and time, don't go to this salon. Service was on 10/19/23 - after photos from a month later 11/19/23 & today 12/3/23.

She walked me through the whole process, explained my results to me and gave me some tips for what to try after my facial. When I called to make my appointment, I was VERY specific about what I wanted: long, sharply pointed stiletto nails. I know this is a more difficult shape to do well, which is exactly why I asked BEFORE booking whether they had someone who could do them. I was told, "Yep, no problem." Based on that, I booked my appointment for 3:00. I actually arrived early hoping they might be able to get me in sooner. They couldn't, which was completely fine--I waited for my scheduled appointment. I also showed the technician a picture of exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, what I received looked absolutely nothing like the photo or the long, pointed stiletto shape I had specifically asked about when booking. There was essentially no shape to them. They looked like Chiclets sitting on my nails, not long, sharp stilettos. The application was also extremely rough. While filing, the technician caught my nail several times and hurt me badly enough that I physically pulled my hand away three separate times. One of my natural nails is now peeled back and damaged from how aggressively it was filed and caught. At that point I should have gotten up and walked out, but because this is a new salon, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and let her finish. As soon as I left, I tried calling the salon because I was so unhappy and wanted to discuss getting my money back. Nobody answered, so I left a voicemail. After being hurt multiple times during the service, I absolutely did not feel comfortable going back and having the same technician touch my hands again. Instead, I literally drove straight from this salon to another nail salon and had the entire brand-new set soaked off immediately. They were that bad. What is especially frustrating is that I specifically asked BEFORE making the appointment whether they could do this particular shape because I know not every nail technician can. If they had simply told me they weren't comfortable doing long, pointed stilettos, I would have completely understood and booked somewhere else. The entire experience gave me the impression that the priority was volume over quality. I paid for a set I couldn't even leave on my hands, immediately had to pay another salon to remove it, and was left with damage to my natural nail in the process. I tried to handle this directly with the business before posting a review, but I couldn't get anyone on the phone and left a voicemail. Unfortunately, based on the quality of the work, the painful service, and the fact that I specifically confirmed beforehand that they could provide what I was requesting, I cannot recommend this salon and I will not be returning.
