I walked in for a male mani and pedi, The older lady in the shop serviced my pedicure. Highly disappointed with her service. And Did Not! Just avoid this place -- we are completely traumatized. A group of us booked appointments on NYE for mani pedis. The entire experience was rushed, unsafe, and unprofessional. They grinded the old dipping polish off my nails, leaving them paper-thin, and then tried to push more dipping powder on top of the damage even though I had asked for gel. My sister's cuticles were treated just as carelessly--they used an electric file to remove them, which is both unnecessary and harmful as she asked for a regular mani and pedi (no gel)! The worst part? They moved me aroundto 3 different people and the guy (only one dude there) had me soak my entire fingers in acetone rather than carefully removing the polish nail by nail. Yes a bowl with acetone, like when you soak cuticles. I thought it was strange and excessive. My nails and fingertips were left dry as he used an acrylic tip to remove the existing polish while switching to the grinding sander on each nail. I'm not kidding! WTF - they shoukd ve fined by the board for this. I almost wonder if they were all licensed. The salon clearly prioritizes speed over safety and quality. They don't seem to care about their customers--just about moving people through as fast as possible. On top of it all, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the staff made rude comments in Vietnamese, assuming we wouldn't understand, which only added to the terrible experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would never recommend this place unless you're okay with having your nails completely ruined and dealing with careless, disrespectful service. Customer service is nice. Made reservations and didn't have to wait. Got the basic pedicure for $30. They didn't do a bad job but it was not the best pedicure. As I had to file my toes when I got home because they were jagged and sharp. One of my favorite parts of a pedicure is the massage. They rushed it and did it super fast. Only really rubbed my legs. Wish that would have been nice if they put effort into the massage. Prob will try another place next time. I did like the massage chairs. read more

I've had three pedicures here which were fine, but don't get a manicure here. As someone who has had a lot of gel manicures, I can say this wasn't a good one. She used a tool to grind down my cuticles instead of just snipping them back, and wouldn't give me the nail shape k requested. I requested round oval nails three times and was told "I'll do it after they are painted", which is NOT how you are supposed to do it. The polish was thick and goopy, and she got a lot on my skin. I got a pedicure and a manicure over the weekend, it was worst experience that I've ever had at a nail salon. First things first, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had 3 different people working on my nails and never had one consistent nail tech.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Second, the pedicure was extremely rushed so much so that I got 2 large cuts during the process. I received a simple gel manicure on my nails, so should not have been so rushed. Lastly, I paid a whopping $115 just to get cut and a subpar nail job. No discount was ever even offered and they knew they messed up with cutting me because they applied a liquid onto the cut just to stop the bleeding multiple times! It's the only nail salon I went to for so long but I knew that day would come coz every single time I go there I feel frustrated. I kept giving them a chance but this time I'm done. I'm not going over there ever again, the service was bad, the quality of work was bad and the guy who usually does my nails handed me off to the new girl and was too lazy to do them, scrolling on his phone, he wasn't busy at all. I was visiting St. George on a girls trip with some friends and we decided to get a pedicure so we looked on Google and yelp reviews to find a highly rated one. Angel Nail looked great on all the reviews so we gave it a go. We left so confused at all the good reviews - literally double checking to make sure we were at the right spot. First, all of the nail polishes looked like they had been added to with something white. The colors were all streaky and looked old and not vibrant. Even though we had an appointment, we waited a while to be seated and then when we got into our pedicure chairs, we all put our feet into ice cold water, and were told that they were out of hot water. Lucky for me, the lady started on my friend next to me, so I was able to observe while they worked on her pedicure. The scrub sponge they used on her callouses was faded and warped, and looked about two years old. Then I noticed they had one of those cheese graters on the cart, (illegal in many states) sitting there with skin chunks on it from the person before her. All of the workers were using the same tools from a rolling cart. They would cut cuticles, file nails and use nail clippers, and then toss the tool back onto the cart before wheeling it to the next person without any sterilizing or cleaning. I was so appalled and grossed out that I switched from getting a manicure and a pedicure to just getting a polish change on my toes and not letting them use any scrubs or tools. It was really really gross. I haven't been in that dirty or unclean of a nail salon probably ever. :( read more

RESPONSE TO OWNERS COMMENT OF MY REVIEW: As an Aunt, I would never want to go back to an establishment that would sneakily try to rush a manicure on my 8 year old niece by not soaking her hands before touching her cuticles and then when I confront you guys about it, you speak in your language to each other and turn and lie to me that the woman was only cutting her nails down. I asked my niece if the lady cut her cuticles before soaking her hands and she said yes. I really believe wholeheartedly that you and the other nail techs looked to us as people of color, as Polynesians and thought I was stupid and wouldn't know. There is absolutely nothing you could to make what you and your nail techs did, right again. UPDATE: This morning (6/3/2020) I received a call from a man named Benny asking if I could please remove my review. I mean really??!! He went on to say he and his wife(the nail tech who purposely was clipping my nieces cuticles without first soaking her hands), will get fired. That alone says a lot of how they run their business. How did they even get my number?! Smdh (I didn't get anyone's names because they wouldn't give it to me after what they pulled on my 8 year-old niece) Went there with two of my 8 year-old nieces for mani's and pedi's. Called to make an appointment and was told 6pm for 3 was confirmed. Walked in at 6 and the entire staff were busy with other customers. I was then asked by a petite man if I called in and after saying yes he then told me to wait for 15 minutes. I thought okay, it'll be fine, just be patient. We sat patiently and was then approached by a heavier set man saying he can only take 2 for now so I told home to take my nieces first. He refused saying I should go first since mine will take longer. Reluctantly, I agreed. So myself and 1 of my nieces sat in the pedicure chair when we noticed one of the women who work there cleaning another chair beside us. She then signaled to my niece who was waiting for about 10 minutes to come sit in the chair. I thought great! We're all in the chairs! They put my niece in the chair and let her soak her feet for about 15 minutes because another woman walked in after us and they decided to work on her feet first. I began to become really agitated. That's when I noticed how differently they were treating me and my nieces compared to the other customers who were all Caucasian. There was no small talk, just grunts and really quick cleaning. All the while to our left and right we hear and see the eagerness and willingness to make the other customers feel very welcome and comfortable. After about 20 minutes or so I was asked to sit in another chair to do my manicure which left my nieces in the pedicure chair but within my eyesight. The lady began to work on my nieces manicure but before she did she turned to ask the man who was doing my manicure something in their language. He quickly replied and just then I noticed the lady working on my nieces manicure turn her entire back toward me and sort of hide my nieces hands from me. I became suspicious and that's when I saw her use the cuticle cutters on my niece WITHOUT even soaking her hands first. I immediately confronted the lady but that's when the man who was doing my nails denied that's what she was doing. After going back and forth with them I turned and asked my niece who is now clearly aware something isn't right just stares at me. When I noticed the look on her face I didn't want her to panic or have any fear because I was beginning to raise my voice because I knew they were lying. The man doing my nails turns and asks me do you not understand what I'm telling you? He said it with so much aggression. At this point I was over it! WAY OVER IT! I was so angry but I was trying to be a good example for my nieces so I knew I had to calm down. Once I was done I sat on the waiting area sofa and finally calmed down. If my nieces weren't with me, this whole situation would've went another way. 1. DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN IF YOU'RE A PERSON OF COLOR AND THERE ARE CAUCASIANS IN THE CHAIRS 2. THEY SOLICIT REVIEWS-as I sat in the pedicure chair the petite man walked up to the group of women who just finished and asked them to leave a review on google NEVER EVER GOING HERE! My friend and I made two appointments for a gel manicure and pedicure. We arrived, and we were not greeted by anyone. We walked up to somebody and told him we both had appointments. After a few minutes, we both were seated to get our nails done. The place in pretty hectic and very disorganized. After my nails were done, no one was available to do my pedicure which I had an appointment for. While I was getting my nails done, they took a couple of walkins which obviously they gave my timeslot to. They told me just to wait a few minutes. After 30 minutes I had had it. Yes my nails looked wonderful and they did a great job. I probably would've tolerated the time weight but my nails didn't look very good and it definitely wasn't worth the wait for a pedicure that was going to be equally unsatisfactory.
