If I could give zero stars I would. I made a last-minute appointment 11/15/25 for 9:15 AM after a last minute family member was coming to town, and while the salon looked nice when I walked in, the actual experience was very disappointing. During my pedicure, the nail tech commented on my hairy legs even after I apologized. It's winter in Wisconsin; it happens. Then, when clipping my toenails, I apologized again since I don't get routine pedicures, and she commented about how long they were as well. It made the entire service feel uncomfortable and judgmental. When I moved on to my manicure, the tech (I didn't catch their name) accidentally cut my finger and it started bleeding. I included a photo. By that point, I honestly just wanted the appointment to be over. I hated my experience that was suppose to be relaxing. The total was $135 before tip, which is significantly higher than what I usually pay in Appleton ($90 for the same basic manicure and pedicure). For what I received, it felt overpriced. I wasn't asking for anything complicated--just simple colors, no designs, nothing extra. Overall, I left feeling like an inconvenience rather than a customer. I'm not a picky person, but based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend this salon, 0/5 stars. read more

2nd and last visit to this salon. On my first visit I had a basic manicure with lacquer. The nail tech was very nice, conversational, and although she suggested shellac a couple times she wasn't pushy like some are. I went back for a walk-in pedicure. I arrived at about 1:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. It was obviously a busy day and before I signed in was told there would be a 15-20 minute wait, but they brought me back to a chair right away. I sat with my feet in water for over an hour while other customers came and went. Every time a nail tech finished up with another customer, I thought I might be next, but they kept disappearing. After the water was not just lukewarm but getting chilly and there were only 3 of us left waiting with no signs of anyone coming back, I walked out. Paying $50 for a pedicure and really was only a polish change and foot soak that took 20 minutes is crazy. Not impressed, we will not be back. The quality of the service was poor, and vibe was not welcoming, they seemed annoyed and rushing. We also paid $70 for a gel polish, no massage no soak no cuticle care done in 30 minutes. I would NOT recommend Angel Nails on Calumet, despite being longtime customers. My daughter just went yesterday to get a full set and didn't get what she asked for despite showing them a pic of EXACTLY what she wanted (right down to color, shape, and length) and paying $90. I will say she went back in and they attempted to "fix them" only to leave with them looking worse! She got in her car and called me crying. They will not refund her money but instead offered to redo them for half price. She ended up leaving and paying for them to be redone elsewhere. Went in for a walk in regular mani pedi and was very disappointed with what I got. My manicure was 5 minutes so not worth the $20. My pedicure was very uncomfortable they kept trying to talk me into an upgrade after I said no multiple times. For $40 it was not worth it. There was also no Essie or OPI polish available to pick. I scheduled pedicures yesterday for my friend's daughter and I; we were very impressed with the interior and our nail designs. A few hours later the gel nail peeled off, and we went back in today to have it fixed. I spoke to the Owner and she wasn't friendly nor willing to make it right. We were next on the list, and no one was waiting today but she claimed they were really busy and no one could help us. She asked that I make an appointment and I informed her I don't understand how your appointments work when we made one yesterday and we waited 30 minutes. A pedicure for an adult and child came to $115 (not including the tip). I'm disappointed in the service and quality; a gel pedicure should not peel off after a few hours. This used to be the only place I'd get my nails done. After a few bad experiences with new staff, I stopped going. Recently started getting my nails done and had some really awful and painful sets at other places. Decided to give Angel Nails another try. Tuan (Kent) did an amazing job filling and fixing my set from a few weeks ago. They literally look so natural that I could have kept them "naked." Tried a new salon for a pedicure. Thought it was odd that 6 people checked in at the same time for appointments. They had us wait initially, then moved us all to chairs. We waited and waited, finally one person came to start a pedicure but no one else, so everyone else still waiting. After 40 mins I left. Tammy was shown a picture of what my daughter wanted and did something totally different even after repeatedly explaining what she wanted. She wanted rounded nails but they were shaped pointy and looked like claws. She wanted a glitter stripe on each nail, but instead got a completely different design on just one nail. Also burned her skin and it was bleeding from the nail drill. They said they would fix but we did not have the time as we already were there for over 90 minutes, so I asked for at least some money back and only received $10 back. Price was twice as much as expected. They kept adding on a bunch of extras to the service that we clearly did not want, and then charged extra. We left this place extremely disappointed and my daughter was next to tears. Maybe another nail tech would have been better, but I will not go here again. read more

Was told basic pedicure was $25, and they could take me right away, so I went. When I sat down at their chair, I was given three options, priced ranged between $45 to $55, $45 was some green tea one, $50 was some sugar rub, then $55 was the organic one, and I picked the organic. Experience was average. But then later when I went online to check price their pricing for pedicure was completely different, the one I got should have been $40, not $55. Also when I asked about I was told $25 for basic when I called, the lady who did my toe nails said it's only for kids so that was not a choice for me. The whole thing is dishonest. Below average service. Also, I was told at the salon that I need to get new pedicure every two weeks to get make sure nails are healthy.. don't think any there is any science behind that.. likely misinformation. If you want to have a reservation honored, this is not the salon for you. They take walk ins and book more appointments than they have staffing for, so you will probably not get in on time. Today I waited 30 minutes after my reservation time. If you want to walk in somewhere you're probably fine here as the services and prices are decent. Just be prepared to wait. read more

I took my partners daughter for a mani pedi. I asked for regular polish on both of our toes and was told it wasn't available to match the gel selection we both chose for our hands. the gel on her toes lasted less than 24 hours and my nails were off in less than 48. i am dreading getting the gel that I didn't want off my toes so hopefully they were applied as poorly as my nails were. next time I will look for a salon that can honor my requests for service. read more

I have gone to angel nails a few times and my nails always come out looking amazing! However I do have one issue. Time management, I always book ahead with appointments and they never start on time. If you are that busy, cut back on walk ins or staff better for slots taken by appointments. I had an appointment at 11 today and didn't get started til 11:30! that just puts my entire day behind schedule. Angel Nails does a great job and they offer a pretty great selection of colors! They do the dip powder and gel services which is a big plus for me. The major downside is how expensive they are and you cannot tip on your credit card. I rarely carry cash so it's usually very awkward if I don't have any money to tip my nail stylist. Upon arrival I said I had an appointment with *** and was told by the owner that my technician went to Wisconsin Dells. The owner didn't try to fix the situation, she didn't offer for another person to do my nails, nothing. She asked if I wanted to rescheduled to which I told her I couldn't because I lived out of state and came up for the day to get my nails done. She told me that there were 2 other people waiting and asked if I could come back. I am very disappointed in the way she handled the situation. I had a very nice pedicure yesterday. They fit me in even though they were going to close early for Father's Day. The whole spa was very clean and they followed all COVID precautions. I had to wear a mask, they took my temp, everyone was masked and the payment process was as clean as could be. I loved my pedicure, very gentle and relaxing.
