Rating: I used to enjoy coming here, but a recent experience and the management's response have ensured I will never return. During a pedicure, the technician used a foot rasp (the "cheese grater" tool) on the TOPS of my toes. Despite me explaining that my skin is very sensitive and tender, she continued until I was left with bloody scrapes and blisters. Using this tool on the tops of toes is not standard practice and was incredibly painful. When I called to share my concerns and sent photos, the response was defensive and unprofessional. Instead of listening, a man spoke to me using "legal mumbo jumbo" as if I were threatening a lawsuit. He even tried to shift the blame onto me for not disclosing a medical condition, despite the fact that this tool should never be used on the tops of anyone's feet. It took months of follow-up and sending photo updates of my scarring before I was finally heard. All I wanted was an acknowledgement of the mistake and a promise to retrain the staff, but the salon turned a simple safety concern into a hostile confrontation. Proceed with caution. read more

Came here for the first time while visiting Appleton area. I wish they trimmed my nails and cleaned my cuticles better before applying acrylics. I also wish they painted the orange color more evenly - the orange looks murkier than I'd like for half of the nails. Some of the nails were a bit too filed on one side, so they look a little uneven (almond shaped). Otherwise the service was great, I appreciated their help in picking colors. I was in and out in an hour. read more

What a great nail salon! I was in the neighborhood and had a day off from working the Osh Kosh airshow so I thought I would treat myself to a mani-pedi. The salon was clean and comfortable and the staff was lively and fun. I loved the spa pedicure. I felt so spoiled with he leg/foot massage and the massage chair. If I was from here I would come back as much as possible. read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Seems like all the nail techs are high school age and just want to talk to their friends instead of focusing in their clients. I wanted acrylics taken off and my nail length shortened a little bit. Vienna did not entirely remove acrylics that I had on three of my fingers even though I told her more than once they were not completely off. She just filed right over them to make it appear they were off. Then instead of filing my nails down a little, she completely cut off all the length I had. Then when she asked what shape I wanted, I told her round and she said she couldn't do that with how short she cut them. Best part was when I was paying for this mess, a different tech said "I hope you come back, I hope we didn't scare you off." 0/10, do not recommend. read more

Decent place for a pedicure. The techs I get are gentle. Never have a problem with finding a color. Nice and roomy inside. Its a bit weird to me that they use liners for the foot baths but they put a hole in it to go around the jet spout? I think it defeats the purpose of having a liner. I have not had any other services yet. read more

My first time at Kimberly Nail for a pedicure. Was greeted nicely. Short wait for my appt. Technician spoke okay English but was so soft spoken I couldn't hear her. Asked her twice to speak up as I couldn't hear her over the noise and music. Never could hear her. Just relied on hand motions or nodding. Only one coat of color was put on. I questioned her but couldn't hear her response. She didn't cover the edges on my nails so the color is on top but the ends show white. Can't touch up the nails because I don't have the same color. Also had to file my large toenail when I put socks on as it was so rough it caught on the sock fabric. Not happy with my experience. read more

Had such a great experience at Kimberly nail salon this evening I had to leave a review. I went in with a reference picture of what I thought I wanted my nails to look like. After showing the picture to the nail technician she talked to me about how my current nail length and shape didn't quite fit the picture in my reference. It would be possible, but it'd be a lot more involved than I was planning on. We decided on a new, super fun solid color and her application was flawless. I am so appreciative she talked me through my idea and was honest about how it was going to turn out instead of letting me go through with it and end up being disappointed. This salon is very clean and extremely classy. I had a great time chatting with the nail technicians and I felt very welcomed. I didn't get the name of my technician, but she was an absolute sweetheart. She did a wonderful job doing my nails and took her time, making sure they looked great. I am very pleased. The only thing I would like to have gone differently would be the prices. When I first got there, I knew that a gel manicure was $30. So, I planned on paying $35 including a $5 tip. But, one of the technicians told me that it was $5 to get designs on my ring fingers, so I said yes. She also told me that it was $10 for 10 fingers, but I decided to do just the ring fingers. Then, when I was finished, she told me that my total was $40. I'm not really sure why it was $40, but I didn't ask any questions. So I ended up paying $45 which was kinda strange because she told me that it was $5 more for the designs on my two fingers, making the total $40 with a $5 tip. At the end of the day, it's only a $5 difference but I still felt a little misleaded. Overall, Kimberly Nails was a wonderful place to get my nails done and I would definitely go back again, but I would double check the prices before I go again. read more

My first visit. Brought my 7 year old granddaughter for her first professional mani-pedi. Beautiful facility, nice amenities, professional, courteous staff. If I could leave zero stars for this place I would. I called to book my bridal party for a group of 18 for this coming month. I had expressed to him that I was looking around to see what everyone had to offer as I have only been to a few places I asked for prices and never got them due to him asking where are the few salons I have been to and I had named a few and he then starts to say "oh those places are bad and very dirty" and continues on talking bad about a salon I am 100% sure hes never stepped foot in. One of my favorite salons that I have been to he had said all this stuff about but hasn't seen what they have to offer. You're calling a salon dirty because they don't clean tool but yet they have disposable ones where they open a new bag every time as you're sitting there and then it gets tossed out you have the choice of taking them home. Mind you this is the owner talking like this to a potential customer. Talking about another salon to make you look good is very unprofessional and I am highly disappointed as this would have been the first time my friends, family and myself would have been attending this place. We booked with our go to in Appleton by the mall. I wont be attending this place any time soon. This is very disappointing and unprofessional. This will be on other platforms as well so everyone sees it . read more
