Very disappointed with my last appointment with Ruby. Earlier that week I was asked if I could move my 4pm appointment so the technician could leave earlier, but I kept the time I had originally booked. When I arrived, I was greeted with a visible frown and immediately confronted about not moving my appointment. I was also told she was about to go home if I didn't show up. The entire service felt rushed and inattentive after that. The final result reflects that. One nail has messy polish and several nails were not fully sealed with top coat, which affects both the appearance and durability of the set. I was still charged full price despite the noticeable issues. Professionalism and consistency matter in the beauty industry, and unfortunately this experience did not reflect that. This is almost a 4 star review and I'll tell you why I couldn't bump it up. We had made reservations for a few of us, and upon entering in they were very disorganized and not on time. Not a problem usually but we were all hoping to sit together and chitchat as we were celebrating a Birthday. Instead, we all sat down at different times and didn't have an opportunity to socialize. Also, the last person in our group wasn't taken until 1 PM so we completely missed our afternoon activities. Also, the nail polishes were completely scattered all over with no rhyme or reason in terms of colors or gel versus non-gel versus quick dry. It was very difficult as somebody coming in for the first time to figure out where to look and what color to pick from the scattered assortment. When I finally had my turn it was a pleasant experience. I sat next to the owner and we chitchatted and I met a fellow patron who has been coming here for years. She said it is the only place she'll come for her gel nails as they are experts. She convinced me to get my first try at a gel polish and I loved it. There is ample parking outside, the salon is quite large so can take a decent group and there is little dog running around inside. this is the second time i've been there and they upsell me AGAIN. How come every time i've been there the price has been 15-20$ more than what was said on the phone. This place is not the closest to me but my friend took my 14 yo here for a birthday full set & pedicure. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how cute her tips were. The shape was great, a large selection of colors & designs and the people were friendly & listened to what we requested. They're 30 min from me but think I g it's worth the trip for good nails! Thought it was $24, but it was a pricy $30 and they add 8% (small hand written sign at checkout when service was already provided) if you use your debit card instead of cash , so it was actually $32 + tip. And although busy this morning, I was only given 1 coat of color with NO top coat applied. No soak longer than 30 seconds or massage. Felt VERY rushed. I had to add a top coat myself when I got home. I've gone to Angel nails twice. Today Jason took care of all of my services and was fantastic. I have thin nails and without my even mentioning it he said he wanted to be careful not to over-file them. My pedicure is great, but my manicure is the best. The shape and length of my ANC powder are perfect, and they aren't at all thick or bulky. He was very conscientious about sanitizing, and talked about how much he values taking his time to develop return customers. He is certainly developing one here. read more

My "scheduled" appointments were NEVER honored. Waited up to 40 mins more than once. For gel remover, they soak your nails in full-strength acetone! While my Cali gel manicures strengthened my nails. My nails are weaker than they've ever been from Angel Nails. I had went to this nail salon exactly a week ago. i had gotten a acrylic gel full set and my friend got a acrylic gel fill. The pricing was fine. I wasn't happy with the way mine turned out. it wasn't what i asked for at all. $37 for my friends and $65 for mine. I got my nails done and before the service start I showed him a desired picture: white ombré and asked him if he was able to do that and he nodded yes. Well I asked for a white ombré and he gave me a pinkish "French" because you don't even see an ombré at this point. Then filing my sides pretty close to my cuticle I've told him he was hurting me and he didn't seem to care and nicked me. Well I asked him to stop and he didn't. So after I told him the cut was hurting me please stop the bleeding with the styptic powder he looked at me as he didn't know what I was saying and he dropped a blue liquid on it when I asked what it was he didn't reply back. I had a pedicure at Angel Nails two days ago and had a horrible experience. The minute I sat down, the guy started a timer - do they allow only a certain length of time for a pedicure. The guy never spoke a single word to me, never asked me what package I wanted and acted like he better things to do than give me a pedicure. When I was done, the guy disappeared! went to get a gel manicure w/ designs, called ahead to make an apt to make sure someone was there who did designs and nail art, but when I got there the nail tech was annoyed that I asked for a design and said he'd have to get someone else (which was fine, the other tech tried her best but I wasn't super happy with it). If that was all + just had a weird process of taking off gel and some nails being crooked / cut unevenly, I would be giving 4 or 3 stars, but less than a week later my nails started chipping with the stars popping out of the glue and 2 layers of topcoat?? Now the entire top coat is peeling off - I've been getting my nails done for over a year and never had coats peel off or come out of the gel. The gel is extremely uneven, and even though I asked for a square shape every nail has been rounded. When you run your fingers over the nail you can feel the bumps in the gel. This place is filthy and terrible customer service and has only ONE certified nail tech (Kim). Everyone else especially the male workers do it for the money and are lazy. so pointed out that the nails weren't the same shape and everyone in there tried to make me feel like I was crazy so I paid but left furious. I did my pedicure here and two weeks later my left toe nail breaks off and I remove the polish and realize a dark spot has developed under my right toe nail that was never there before. Finally found a local place where they actually take time to provide a good pedicure service. I was impressed with how detailed the girl was with my toes(unfortunately I didn't get her name). I didn't feel rushed out of the chair. I felt like she really wanted to take care of my feet. For example I've been having pain around my nail and she was able to remove that pressure without me saying a word about it. I appreciate how she took her time doing a good leg and foot massage. I'm glad I did not have to wait since I was just a walk in but I also went on a weekday. Tina was the lady working on someone else sitting next to me and I have to say I was blown away at how well she was taking care of her client. Unprofessional. Insulted my eye lashes because I did not have them done there. She said, "they look old and crusty." I allowed them to wax my eyebrows which I throughly regret. They look horrible. I thought I made an appointment with Nina. Turns out wrong place but they did not tell. I understand that, they want the business and won't turn down a customer when they are not busy. I realized about halfway through when I saw that my nails were looking lumping and asked the girl her name. She told me Rose. Rose is very nice and she is probably good if you have never gotten dip powder before. As some one who had gotten it for years, I knew what the process should have been like. Unfortunately, I had to asked her to fix them multiple times whether they were crooked, lumpy or just uneven to each other. Rose tried her best to fixed them but did not understand how to. I appreciate that she did show hostility towards me unlike other nail technicians when you asked them to fix something. Eventually, I asked if I could just use the file myself to file the lumps out.
