The owner, Janine, greeted me and was very polite. In hindsight, I should have scheduled services with her, but alas, I did not. My facial was fragmented and didn't flow. A cleanser, then a serum, then a toner- which removed the serum? All over the place, without much rationale. I've had facials all over the country- without much of a miss. This.was.the.worst. Then comes the brows, after the concerning and confusing facial. My brows were tinted and then waxed. The tint left me looking like Ms. Trunchbull. No way I was going out in public with those on my face. Upon closer inspection my brows were haphazardly waxed- which I couldn't tell with the mass of tint still on my skin. Arrived home, attempted all the tricks to remove the tint, with little success. I'll be headed to another salon next week to correct the $40 attempt at brow shaping. I would frequently leave my eyebrows alone in hopes they would grow back to no avail. I had to accept that they weren't coming back. I finally caved after years of debating and got them done. Nano brows! Leanne was excellent at both of my appointments. I felt really comfortable and confident that she wanted to give me my best look. The aftercare instructions could not be written out any clearer! And she gives you the stuff you need to do so. No trips to the store. If you're worried about pain, in my experience and threshold, the worst part was the numbing and first appointment because it's the longest. But the numbing agent works really well so it wasn't too bad at all! The second appointment was a breeze. And it doesn't hurt afterwards either. Healing time was fast and easy. I personally didn't have any issues with scabbing or anything. There are a couple days there was some dryness/light flaking but once you apply the ointment it goes away. My biggest tip, besides following aftercare, is to not plan anything for the day of and a few days after your very FIRST appointment. They will look so bold (at least mine did) and I didn't want to go anywhere (but I did anyway because I can't sit still!). And then they calm down and look amazing! After your 1st appt and touch up about 8 weeks later, you won't need another touch up for a year or 2 im told (depending on your lifestyle and how you retain the color). I have no regrets investing in this! I haven't loved seeing my face without makeup in so long! Having eyebrows again make my eyes pop and look younger I believe. I feel so much more confident without make up and look more awake too. If you've been contemplating this, I promise you won't regret it! When I messaged her the next day with a video, she said they weren't overprocessed and it's the same product Kim Kardashian uses and that I could come back which wasn't possible because I was at work and then going out of town. Now a month later, many of my lashes have fallen out and new ones are growing in all short and noticeable because I have blond lashes as well as the rest of my lashes are still permed all crazy while the new ones aren't. She absolutely ruined my lashes and I will NEVER get a perm again. I recently moved to WNY and where I lived previously had someone for 2 years do a great job so I know how this process should look and go! She also charges double what others do!
