I went to the Lewiston location. The salon is so cute! Lots of pink sparkles and very clean. It is on the second floor so it is nice and quite from the busy Main Street. When I went in for my second appointment she threw me out of the salon, swearing at me and threatening to call the police! How this place stays in business is beyond me. She was wonderful and very accommodating. Its two days before rehearsal dinner and wedding!!!!! Now scrambling to find an experienced lash technician for thurs or fri am. which will be difficult. I try not to leave many poor reviews, but I'm a little disappointed in the quality of work here. The staff was VERY pleasant, and friendly. Both ladies were sweet, and the hairstyles we got for the wedding we had to attend this particular day were lovely when done.... But they weren't locked in very well. A lot of the bobby pins holding my bun were placed upside down and not locked into place with another pin, and our hair wasn't sprayed enough to hold it tight. My hairdo, and the hair-dos of the two other girls with me, fell out within an hour of leaving the salon. My bangs wouldn't hold in place at all, because the pins kept shifting, and the bun kept falling lower and lower and unraveling. The Bride had a loose, all down style with curls, and her curls all fell out, we had to re-curl her hair at home.... And the bride's maid/MOH had a half up, half down 'do which she had to pull down because it fell out prior to the wedding. If it wasn't for friendliness and the asthetic of the salon, this review would be 1-2 stars. read more

I want to put a minus -5* but I cannot post this review unless I pick a rating DO NOT GO WORSE PLACE ALSO BRIDES BEWARE!!! I went here to get my eyelash extensions done because of my regular girl was out for surgery. I only went there for 3 appointments and they ruined my natural lashes. When you go in for a fill the don't take off your old overgrown lashes they just keep regluing new ones on and your lashes get so built up with glue that it damages your natural lashes, this had never happened to me before when I went to my regular girl, and I have been going to her for 3 years. Now I have to wait a month to get my lashes done so my natural lashes can grow. BRIDES BEWARE if you book your wedding party with them for hair and makeup expect to wait for a hour and half before they even start you. My nieces appointment was at 11:45am and there was only 4 total girls including the bride they had to wait 1 1/2 hours before they even got started because they booked in other clients before them and that is a given factor in the salon business the if you have a wedding party coming in you do not book other clients so that the bride and wedding party are out on time. They told them that they had to be out of there no later than 3pm because the wedding started at 4pm. Well to tell you they walked in for the wedding at 4:04pm in their shorts and had to rush to get dresses. My nieces was so upset. Also their hair didn't last the whole night. Never again. I'd like to say first, this has nothing to do with the lash girl I had. She was lovely. Have a HUGE problem with the owner, Kim. I was slightly put off by listening to her talk crap about clients within earshot of everyone in the salon. But I brushed that off. I went to have a consultation for microblading with Kim and had a crap experience. She did not take any measurements of my face first off. She free hand drew a terrible squiggly that looks nothing like my natural arch or how anyone eyebrows should look ever! I was polite about it and even lied and said it was nice, but not what I'm used to. I tried explaining how I wanted them, but she just didn't get it. It was just a sharp arch. Not uncomfortable at all. I asked her if I could draw in my other one to show her how I usually do them (which I have gotten several compliments on over the years, BTW). She walked out while I drew it and left me in the room for like five minutes and when she came back she had this sour ass look on her face. I asked her if she thought it looked weird, and she said, with the most amount of snark, "I like the other side better". She then suggested if I want to make the appointment, to draw them in before I come. She then basically shooed me out. Left such a bad taste in my mouth, I unfollowed All Dolled Up on all socials and refuse to go back to the girl (who I liked!) To get my eyelashes done. Unreal. read more

**Bridal parties and formal occasions advise** If I could leave less than a star I would. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a salon. If you are a looking for hair and makeup to be done for a formal occasion please read before booking! My friend set his girlfriend and I up to get our hair and makeup done after a spa day, as he was proposing when we got back. Not only were they completely disorganized the entire time but 5 different people worked on our hair/makeup. Trainee's worked on us to begin with but were not introduced as so. Just for a simple hair styling (a braid and curl) and makeup for my friend and I it took 3 hours. We were the first clients in and the last out. Our hair and makeup was messed up after having it done originally so I requested they fix it. The owner and a seemingly more experienced employee came over to "fix" our hair and makeup. However, somehow made it even worse. They also switched out so the original girl continued to work on us. Our foundation did not match our skin tones, they did not blend, did not even apply eyeliner and couldn't apply our lip color evenly. We left looking orange and our lashes came off within a few hours of leaving. Our hair was not what we asked for and did not look good either. After hours at this salon and being late for our event, on the verge of tears we left. Upon coming back for the proposal, we had to fix our own hair and makeup ourselves. The whole point of getting "all dolled up" was to not do anything ourselves and to get pampered. All this facility brought us was stress and negative emotions. We did not feel special or prioritized, as you should from a salon. Upon calling today to discuss the experience they would not refund or even offer an apology. The only thing offered was a free facial; which was declined as we will never go there again. If you're going to have trainee's work on customers communicate with them and ask whether it's okay, don't expect people to be okay with it. There are way better and more professional salons in Buffalo that will treat you better! read more

I would NEVER recommend or return. Staff was rude, lash tech didn't talk to me at all thru out my entire 1 1/2 apt. She was talking extremely loud with other employees carrying on personal conversations. Chairs are right on top of one another. Literally no privacy. Both my eyes were glued shut and ripped tape off my eyes super rough. I've had lashes on for many MANY years. Have never had such poor service. You're paying for a luxury service, the staff could at least act like the care about their paying clients. This should be time to relax and unwind. Had the complete opposite experience here. Tech got up and walked away. Gave no lash brush or cleansing directions. Thankfully I'm aware of the aftercare. Never saw her again. She up and left. read more

This was legit my favorite place to go for a very long time until I realized my business wasn't as appreciated as other customers. Even though I've been coming here for nearly a year consistently every two weeks my patronage means nothing to them. Today I felt like rushed from one appointment to come to this one for my last fill and I literally felt like I was a burden o everyone's time. Well I wish then the best of luck on their new location but I understand when my business is not wanted or valued so this will be my last visit. I started going to All Dolled Up for volume extensions about a year ago. I was happy with the results and the girls that I had seen were very friendly and always made me feel welcome. Lately (I'm talking the past three months or so) I feel like they've gotten lazy with their work. I was having issues with retention, lashes were falling off in clumps, and I would go in for fills with bald patches. I thought it was something I was doing. I was having some pain and discomfort after my last fill, so I decided I was done and started removing my extensions. (Yes I know I should have gone to a professional, but it was 8pm and my eyelids were burning, and lashes felt like they were pulling, so I was desperate). At the time when I removed them, I realized that the problem was NOT me, the problem was with the application. I was finding ONE extension glued to SIX of my natural lashes, which ended up getting pulled out in the removal process, so here I am left with no lashes - all because of lazy application. Not to mention the amount of glue on one extension. In the future, when I get over this and decide to have my extensions reapplied, I will not be returning to All Dolled Up. It's sad that not all lash techs take pride in their work and may not even realize they're ruining people's lashes while making them look and feel pretty for the time being until they realize what damage was done. Worst place I've ever been to. Took my daughter for extensions because her hairdresser butchered her regular cut and she was mortified. Kim came off like she could fix her hair. Told me to go buy the extensions and wrote down what I needed. Wasn't expecting to have to shop for my own extensions having no clue what I was even looking at. She ended up dying my daughters hair (horrible color with red in it) and didn't even match the extensions. By the end of the appt. my daughter ended up with hair extensions that were extremely visible and didn't even match. She charged me $600!!!! Then kept my extra pack of $75 extensions. Left her salon with a child in tears and spent two hours that evening trying to remove them. I don't usually write many reviews but for the love of god, DO NOT GO HERE! I walked in to get a quote for a wedding hair and makeup trial on a Monday. I was told "half of the price of your wedding day" ($150)... so $75. Thinking $75 as reasonable, I booked a trail for Wednesday. Upon checkout, the owner charged me $150. I expressed my confusion as just two days prior she herself told me "half the price". Clearly confused and questioning her, she continued to talk in circles trying to explain herself even though it made zero sense. I paid the bill as I was catching a flight in a few hours. When I got in the car I was DISGUSTED. I LOOKED ORANGE AND FAKE. MY LIPS WERE SOOOO OVER LINED. My eyebrows looked black. (see photos). My bridesmaids we're cringing when I sent them pictures. I visited the salon with my granddaughter 2 days before her wedding to have individual eyelashes. I was finished first and paid I turned and looked at my granddaughter,she looked like Betty Boob they looked horrible, she returned the next day to have them removed. If I could give this place zero stars I would. After experiencing what they offer as a lash "lift and tint" I can say that mine and my friends lashes looked better upon entering the salon as compared to after. The lack of professionalism was extraordinary considering the alcohol that could be smelt on the breathe of one of the workers. After receiving our treatment and looking in the mirror not only was there a mass amount of glue and dye left covering our lids but it was incredibly necessary for them to retry the procedure so we weren't $200 out for something that clearly did not work the first time. The only employee that was notably considerate of our concern was Tiffany. She made sure our lashes were redone, although the difference was not drastic. When going to pay we were asked to tip as if their service was so deserving, do not come here unless you like to waste your money. read more

I went in to get my hair and make up done as a birthday present from my boyfriend....this place has THE WORST WORKERS IN THE WORLD. Not only was a trainee doing my hair alone and asking a question every second, she was also yanking through my hair so much I left with a major headache. The hair was redone four times because it looked awful every time. And don't get me started on the make up....four different people worked on my make up and the color matched left me looking like an Oompa Loompa (I have photos to prove it)they didn't even do basic make up like bronzer, blush or setting powder on me! Had my makeup done for my engagement shoot. Absolutely terrible. Had to literally wipe it on the way to the shoot, as it was so caked on and did not match my skin color at all. I've had lashes done since, however extremely inconsistent with the work of the employees. The price is definitely a great deal, but just beware, you pay what you get for. read more

Decided to check out for first time. Made an appt weeks in advance for New Year's Eve. Upon arrival I informed staff that I had appt with Kim. They said a few minutes. Right away it was not a welcoming atmosphere - Staff barely acknowledged me, or offered for me to sit and wait, or cared that I was standing there waiting for my appt ...after a few minutes I saw an employee talking to someone else - with mention that she informed Kim Her appt was here but they both seemed puzzled. I knew something was off. kim never came out..I eventually left after waiting almost 45 minutes. This is a warning not to have your brows microbladed by Kim, the owner of All Dolled Up. I thoughtlessly had mine done on June 6, 2019 and now, Oct. 20, 2019 they look almost exactly the same as when I first left there. The inch on both sides, closest to my nose looks like hairs, but they are sparse and I have to fill them in with brow pencil every morning. But what's worse is the rest of the brows looks like someone just drew them on. They are just a solid, almost black line. They are much darker than my hair which is the same as when I went there in June. Two other people who have great reviews for microblading tell me that she went too deep into my skin. I am in the process of having them lazered which will cost anywhere from $800-$1200 ($400 a session). When I called Kim in July, she just screamed at me that she was not going to refund my money. She had no desire to even look at my brows. I am not sure if I had asked for a refund in this phone call - I may have. I eventually got my $200 back from Mastercard after I sent them a detailed letter with pictures. Obviously they could see the damage she had done to my face. I have been extremely depressed about how I look, but I am dealing with it because there are far worse things to face in life. Please don't make the same mistake as me. Go to someone who is civil and considerate and who really has skill in microblading. read more

My hair was dark brown before, i expressed what i wanted to my hair stylist and she seemed to understand that i wanted the ends a lighter brown and for it to fade in with my natural color. But when i walked out, my hair is blonde in most areas and golden in others, the top of my head is red. The woman who did my hair experimented on me and didnt do a good job at all. My hair now is as far from what i wanted as possible and i paid $200. read more

When constructive criticism came into the picture, she threatened legal action and then began a tirade of insults. Apparently she never heard of the term "word of mouth". Of course we were going to share our negative experience with others when asked. This woman thinks that she can haul everyone into court who isn't happy with the services that they PAID FOR. The operative word is PAID. We didn't wake up one morning wanting to slander a business that we had nothing to do with. When asked, we simply shared our opinion on the services rendered. Went here after hearing how great they were with lashes. I was very disappointed. The first time I went they greeted me and continued to help one of their employees dye her hair. When I started getting my lashes done, the girl kept coming over and interrupting. I asked for natural lashes with a bit of a cat eye, and the girl doing my lashes just did whatever she wanted. However, after a long time not having lashes I thought maybe I just needed to get used to them. I ended up liking the way they looked, but I had to book and appointment for a week later because my lashes immediately started falling out. When I went to my second appointment, giving them a second chance, one of the girls greeted me by saying "what's up?" I felt that was super unprofessional. I waited an extra 15 minutes because the girl doing my lashes was behind, understandable. She said that I needed to get more than a weekly fill done and began to work on my lashes. Halfway through, she said she couldn't get more behind and suggest I come back next week to get them finished. She quickly changed her mind and passed me off to another girl so she could finish my lashes. I understand everyone gets behind, but finish your work- I came to you specifically for a reason. Also, I have had lashes multiple times, and they have never fallen out a few days later. Very disappointed in the work and the staff, won't be going back! read more

My other hair salon is a bit expensive, so I decided to try out a new one, a very bad mistake! Firstly, the entire environment of the salon is extremely uncomfortable and you can most definitely feel it the moment you walk in, everything about it just seems very fake and forced. I had spent two years growing out my hair so that I could donate it... it grew to over 25 inches so I was fine with the 10-12 inches that needs to be donated, as well as the extra inches that need to be cut off in order to style it. When I sat down in the chair, I expected my stylist to measure how much she was cutting off.... nope. She simply put it in a random pony tail and said "I'm going to cut it here." When I got home and measured it myself, it was 17 inches... so much more than would ever be needed. Beforehand, I had told Kim that I wanted my hair cut just beneath my shoulders as well as literally pointing to where I wanted it. She said "Do you want a bob?" and I told her no. I walked out of the salon with a bob, and well over 20 inches of hair cut off for absolutely no reason. Of course it will grow back, but I was extremely upset by the fact that Kim did not listen to anything that I said I wanted, nor did she even have any knowledge on hair donation. Everytime I called it would be hard to get a hold of one of the managers and would never call me back if I left a message. Regrettably, I sill booked the place...2 months ahead. First spoke to them about it 3 months ahead. Anyways trying to keep it short which Is hard to because of all the disappointment, days leading up to the party it was as if they had no idea who I was and that I booked their place very early on. I dropped off party decor day before...other than one of the managers (kim) everyone was still clueless that the next day I'm having my 7 year old party of 15 girls. the following is on their website about hosting parties "Celebrate your child's next birthday party or special occasion with All Dolled Up Beauty Bar! We handle everything that is needed from the planning of the party, to the cleanup and everything in-between. The worst part was although I hesitated to let take care of the decorating because I got vibes that I couldn't trust them because they seemed careless, I came in an hour before the party started to find that only Kim was just starting to put up decorations. Such a nightmare that just kept unfolding. My daughter was supposed to be ready for guests to arrive to look "all dolled up" I urged to get started on my daughter and I started putting up decor. Not once did any of the other girls offer to help. Not to mention how messy the place was. They had their junk and lunch and a ladder and so much clutter everywhere I didn't have much to work with. So embarrassing and even more that I couldn't finish the decor because the guests started to arrive. I'm being completely honest, except for the other manager who seemed completely careless about my presence (not kim), the ladies were friendly. definitely could've done a better job with the hair (curls didn't even last the 2 hr party) they did a pretty good job with makeup and nails. I'm still so angry about it and regret tipping them the $40. I know that's nothing for doing 15 girls hair makeup and nails because I'm usually such a good tipper most especially to hair dressers.
