You folks may not be able to use her because I'm adopting her, and taking her back to Florida! What a fabulous job she did! Exactly how I like my nails...and I mean exactly! First, there are no posted prices. I had stopped going there a couple of years ago when I got a different price from one technician on one day than I did for the same service from another technician on another day. Earlier this week, I was desperate and I couldn't make an appointment anywhere else. I should've known when I was able to get two appointments for me and my daughter so easily that it was going to be a terrible. I got a gel manicure, and there was nail polish on my cuticles. I showed it to the technician, she filed it off! I showed her where I thought one polish nail was going to peel up immediately and she fixed that, but only because I showed her. Came for a pedicure, no polish to give my nails a break. While the tech was cleaning my nail beds, filled the basin for soaking. Went to put the first foot in and the water was SCALDING. Not hot, or too warm, but blistered the tops of my toes. I didn't want to continue the service, she dried my feet (after burning her own hand trying to drain the basin) then asked if I wanted to use Apple pay. The ladies here travel in from Queens to accommodate the seasonal demand and I'm grateful for their professionalism and attention to detail. Always get gel manicure and tried various spa pedicures. The absolute rudest front desk I have ever encountered. I called to make an appointment and I was quoted a price for the service I wanted. As soon as I got there, the pedicures started to upsell me. I told her I would not go above $60... She agreed when I got to the front desk it was $65... She didn't clean under side of my nails...they are chipping and breaking the next day and they charged me $130.00. I almost threw up on him. I didn't need repairs. I didn't get any other service. Most of the reviews on here are very old or are by people who don't actually live out here. I get my nails done here every couple of weeks and they always do a fantastic job. I've had almost everyone who works there. Is it pricey? Yes.. but they have to charge more to be able to stay afloat out here unfortunately. It's a clean and comfortable space. They kept pushing additional services, even when we'd said we'd only come in for the manicures. My nails were uneven, and they added no base coat, so the polish chipped by the end of the day. My nails were uneven, did not cut cuticles and the polish was applied unevenly. Two pedicures for myself and granddaughter. rainy day, very busy but not even acknowledged at front door by male manager who kept shouting out to who owed what. One star, unfortunately The manicurists are very nice and they do a good job. However, they use the same towels to wipe your hands after they have wiped the counters with it. Highly unsanitary. The owner/manager has probably browbeaten his employees to keep using the same dirty towel, so it's on him to correct the situation. I won't be back. read more

The lady doing my pedicure started using the wrong color and as I stopped her and tried to explain it was the wrong color she railroaded me by telling me it was pretty and just continuing. My manicure was a whole other story. I'm paying extra money to get a gel but that doesn't mean leave out all the things that come with a regular manicure like oh filing the nails and buffering. I received none of that and then was promptly switched to another lady who then proceed to do a rushed job and then basically kicked me out of the seat to attend to someone else. Hell no. I've been here 3 times out of desperation, and I leave regretful every time. Of all the nail salons I've been in the county and in the world, this one does the worst, messiest and most unprofessional job. Mimi makes the bulkiest, sloppiest nails and doesn't care when I ask her to file more and Sunny, though very sweet, makes the nails shape and polish crooked. Really frustrating, especially when they charge ridiculously high prices like $80 for an acrylic fill before the tip. I promise to never go back, but it's the only salon near me that does acrylic fill so that's the only reason I've gone back during last minute desperate times. I got a manicure here a couple of weeks ago and they just didn't put enough nail polish on my nails to completely coat them. I'd never experienced that before. The next time we went back and the woman in the front who I think is the owner refused to acknowledge us when we walked in, she looked at us disapprovingly and then walked away. It was so rude, I could hardly believe it. Her husband came over and took down our phone number and said he would call us when they had time to do a manicure. They're just not clean enough.The sanitizers don't even work. I was cut one day and immediately had an infection on my finger. Because I have cancer I can not take the chance of it happening again. The foot water really upsets me because they put the tools in the used water. In the dirty foot water then back in the case. I did call the Board of Health a few years back and it did get a bit better. Not for long. Those poor woman that work there have no life. Sad.
