Honesty is the first thing in developing a relationship and this salon is not honest. I asked if my stylist was certified in the Luna method and I was told yes. After spending copious amounts of money on hair that I don't even believe now was Covet and Mane and lots of damage to my head and lots of pain I called Luna and found out no one there is actually certified in the Luna method. Sure they have taken some classes but never completed the certification. When I called Angela out on it she just blocked me on social media. No return on all the money I spent was offered at all!!! If you care about ethics, integrity and honesty at all do not go here. Too many other great extension artist like Melted Salon in Franklin. Do yourself a favor and go there. They are pricey but honest!!! See Angela's comment below for proof of what another customer has said she gas lights you. I have the proof that she knows this happened at her salon but she thinks if she writes that she can evade responsibility. I will most certainly not take down my review and I am 100% sure that this work happened in the salon she owns and she has been fully made aware of it since it occurred in 2021. She herself has hosted the Luna professionals in her salon but no one in her salon is certified in the Luna method and she was claiming they were. I will attach a screenshot of our Instagram communication where she says her stylist in her salon that she owns is certified in Luna and where I sent her these pictures. She is evading ownership of what happens in the salon that she owns that is why she does not have a page for reviews for her salon, Copper and June Parlour. She wants to brag about how she is a salon owner and hair mogul but doesn't want to take responsibility for the work done in her salon. Beware. Call the businesses she says she is certified with and make sure she is. That is what I did and found out she was lying. NIGHTMARE STORY w/stylist Angela Goff from Nolensville, TN: I recently had a nightmare experience with a local stylist Angela Goff who literally so royally damaged my natural hair - that it's 85% gone. As in : totally over processed and fried completely off of my head. Gone. THIS IS EVERY WOMAN'S WORST NIGHTMARE. It's sad too bc Angela took zero responsibility for the bald spots on my scalp - under my hair - from placing too much tension in my NBR extensions. Not only did this former nightmare stylist FRY my hair off by over processing my hair using chemicals and left me with very painful SCALP BURNS from here to Kingdom Come that sent me flying outta the chair in pain when she rinsed out my hair.... She also left me with bald patches throughout my head from placing too much tension - AND - too much incorrect angling of bead placement on my head. In addition, she proceeded to comb out my [wet] hair using a teasing comb rather than a wide toothed comb or another more appropriate brush/comb, and she was pulling on my hair so hard - that I watched in horror as gobs and gobs of my hair - FELL to the ground while she was combing it out aggressively. I asked 3 stylists if this was normal and they all said ABSOLUTELY NOT - it is not normal to comb out wet hair with a fine toothed teasing comb because you are supposed to use something else. After this happened, I never went back to this nightmare stylist ever again. I carefully consulted with 4 additional stylists locally to gather professional feedback on what had been done to me & my hair. I documented receipts for days as evidence of this hellish experience- including before & after photos of the exact state of my hair just before it was ruined and immediately thereafter - as well as - emails written to me by other local professional hairstylists explaining how badly this nightmare stylist in Nolensville damaged my hair to such a degree that they were too afraid to even touch my poor hair. What's more~ Angela is "allegedly" the best stylist in Nashville. (She's located in Nolensville,TN.) In reality, she's a wolf in sheep's clothing, taking advantage of me, completely & totally ruining my real hair, refused to refund me a dime of my money $4,217 that I paid her.... $4,217. Let that sink in..... **You CANNOT always trust what your girlfriends say about hairstylist recommendations. Period. **You CANNOT always trust Google ratings either. **This woman came highly recommended and I'm living proof of a hell on earth story. After Angela refused to refund my money, I decided I needed to start sharing this story so that other women in town don't end up with 85% of their hair falling to the floor like mine did. It's not okay what this woman did to me. IT IS UNJUST. She was even willing to add MORE DAMAGE to my hair by "putting a 4th row" in - after all the damage she caused. I had 3 rows at that time in February 2022 when this happened. I won't forget to mention that at the same appointment- when she went to cut long layers into my extensions, she cut so much out of my expensive hair extensions- that it felt like I'd lost 50% of my extensions hair volume because cut way too much out & over blended. That's why this looks so thin at the ends because she cut so much out, and I did not ask her to do that. To add insult to injury: The way this woman spoke to me was the most toxic, verbally abusive thing and it sent me into tears - two different times. Ladies : What works for your friends may not work for you. Never in my life would I have imagined that I'd end up in the hands of someone who would do this to another woman. Especially after 4-5 of my friends go to the same salon. But most of them use a different stylist. Ladies: Remember that it is *your responsibility* to pay attention to every detail of the products being placed onto your head, the procedures and the placement of everything you do in the beauty world....whether it's hair, aesthetics, or other things. Never allow anyone to act annoyed with you when you are protecting your own body. This woman attempted to gaslight me throughout the entire ordeal & barely even allowed me to speak many times speaking very aggressively- so as to silence me for speaking up for myself. It's humiliating, to say the very least. Not to mention traumatizing to have genuinely lost almost all of my real hair. Stay safe out there. First off I adore Angela, I threaten her I will come to her house and hunt her down if she ever quits :) I experienced the absolute worst 2 appt in my life last year 1 where a stylist chemically burned my hair off (5th Ave Salon), and 1 where I went to get Halo extensions to help with severe loss of hair from (Parlour 3). I was so incredibly unhappy hated my extensions! In desperation I googled to find out how to care for the issues I was having with the extensions and I ran into Youtube Danielle White of dkstyling who created Natural Beaded Row hair (NBR). I just sat there dreaming of being able to go to see her in Cali! Then I saw something that was awesome. NBR hair recommends Angela Goff right here in TN and she was personally trained by Danielle! I immediately contacted her. She had this great procedure, had me send in pics, fill out a form, etc. That day she called me personally. She was incredibly warm and friendly and answered all my questions..I set up an appt for me and my daughter right then. We went in for a consult and within seconds knew we were in a professionals care! That was last year! She cares, really cares about clients happiness and that we love our hair! Any concerns or issues she goes out of her way to rectify or change. She really listens. The NBR are amazing we take excellent care of our hair pieces (we have 3 rows each) and they are still amazing. The process is pretty amazing and is virtually undetectable. Recently due to finances I had to go 12 weeks before I could move em up and they held in there really good! That is how great she is at NBR! As I write this I, just last night discovered one area has pulled up and is loose on my row (a first in all this time) and I am 100% confident that Angela will get me in and fix it up with a smile and a hug! That is very rare in this industry! (Update: as expected she has already scheduled me in to fix it and replied to my text same day!!) She is an amazingly sweet stylist we call friend, who is incredibly talented and we just enjoy our appointments!
