I wasn't going to write a review, but the more I thought about my daughters commentary on her experience at the salon I feel there is definite room for improvement for leaving the customer wanting to come back- because they feel welcome and not just about providing "good hair service." My daughter's hair stylist was the current owner of the salon. She was satisfied with the job that was done, but made commentary that the owner was not friendly and welcoming, and did not really speak with her. She won't be back. read more

I've come here a few times and have seen Natalie, everything went well and loved my hair. Natalie wasn't available when I returned so they booked me with Kate. Ok. No problem. Was quoted over the telephone that a root touch up was $90-$100 dollars and that it would be an additional $30 for a blow out which surprised me because it's always included in a root touch cost (at least at every salon I've ever gone to.) Well I get there and she tells me no it's an additional $60 for a blow out on top of the root touch up cost. Could not believe it!! I live in Encinitas California also and the salons there never ever charge an additional fee for a blow out especially $60. It's ashamed bc I actually liked this salon. Just be aware. read more

I think I received the worst haircut I've ever gotten from here. I asked for a trim (keep as much length as possible) and face framing layers. What I left with was a super choppy, uneven cut. The layers are very short. Super disappointed and honestly really embarrassed with how my hair looks. The stylist wasn't all that talkative which also made the experience quite awkward. I did reach out to the owners and one did reply saying she would be willing to try and fix it but she honestly didn't seem that apologetic about it or say she felt it looked bad/was salvageable so I decided I'll just let it grow out. I had a lovely time experience. Everyone as very nice and I enjoyed my cut. It's in a good location too.

I did not get my hair done there but I did go with a friend. The establishment does not practice safe covid guidelines. The personal were not wearing mask. Caitlyn was the hairdresser that my friend booked with, she asked for a balayage in her virgin hair. She came out of the salon with a mess. The color was not blended well. She had damaged from the bleached she used. When asked if she could get someone else to fix it they turned her away claiming it was not the salon's fault. She paid over $300. They have poor customer service, poor products and incompetent hairdressers. Please find another replace where they will take care of you from start to finish. Update to your response: No she did not go by herself I was outside in the car because she had texted me that you guys were not practicing safe covid guidelines. That's the reason I stayed behind in the car. Secondly, she is not a confrontational person as soon as she sat in the car she expressed her disappointment. I was the one that encouraged her to call back. That's when your business instead of providing good customer service decided to not help her. You know what I'm glad it hurts because now my friend has to walk around with damaged hair. And don't forget to mention that you guys have been calling her saying you guys will sue for the review! I called last minute for an appointment for a haircut and style, prompted by a death in the family requiring a trip out of town. The salon was caring and went out of their way to find several appointment options to meet my schedule. I greatly appreciate the kindness extended, and I left the salon with a cut and style that was spirit lifter. I have seen the reviews from past customers. Some good and some not real good. I'm not a person that leaves bad reviews but I can not stand back and witness what's going on and stay silent. It seems this salon only caters to certain folks which leaves speechless. I had a similar bad experience months ago, it seems the hairstylist aren't very nice to certain people. After leaving a couple of reviews and a couple phone calls later the salon decided to refund my money. Maybe it was just because of the reviews but either way it was the right thing to do and I appreciate it! If anyone decides to have their hair done there I would just suggest that you tell them exactly what you want as I did because I believe it was a time issue and not that they're incapable of doing good hair because I seen several people refer them and was very happy with the service they received but that being said I wish there Salon the best and will continue to support them. Not the best experience. I was in here for four hours getting my hair balayaged with a result that left me looking about exactly the same. Friendly enough people, but my stylist didn't make too much conversation. I also got charged about $40 more than they had originally given me an estimate for. Not the best experience. I made an appointment for root touch up. I felt they were in a hurry to leave early, not even a massage with hair washing. My appointment was at 2, and I was the last appointment. Stylist was not the most friendly either. I just washed my hair 4 days later, and the color is gone. $125 for just roots and bangs trimming. Not going back. For me going to the salon needs to be a great, soothing, feel-beautiful experience, I did not received that. Unfortunately, I had refer a friend prior to my appointment for just haircut, and told me the same exact thing, I should have ask her experience first before going for my appointment. And to top it off, my daughter just went yesterday, and had the worst experience. Should we give them another try? NO. It is a shame since they are local, and we want to support local businesses. Wonder if the owners need to know, I know how much effort and sacrifices goes into opening a business...also know how hard is to please clients, that is why excellence is importante when doing a service. read more

I will start by saying this review is to help the owner's improve and that I am a Nolensville resident that will continue to support local business first. I was pleased with my hair and the staff are friendly. One major issue that could not be ignored was the cleanliness. A large volume of hair on the floors and the seat I sat in, dust on all pieces of furniture I saw, and a dirty sink where my hair was washed. The cleanliness of a salon is mission critical in my opinion. It requires daily clean-up by staff but also professional cleaners that come in routinely. Verita's could also do better to adopt the little things that patrons love and are willing to pay money for; the short scalp or neck massage during shampoo, varied selection of beverages, etc. Nolensville is a thriving community and local businesses need to do their very best to serve the customer because the market will become competitive. read more
