I'm reluctant to leave a negative review for a small business, but it's hard not to when I've received no response after several days to an inquiry on their "contact us" page on their website or to an iPhone test message that shows as blue and "received." Angela might be a great chef and might have a good reason for not responding, and my rating is based solely on the fact that she didn't respond and I need to move on and try to find someone else. I'm fine with someone being too busy or otherwise not available, but a response saying so is just common courtesy. read more

I don't usually do reviews but I noticed Angela needed a recent recommendation and I had to say how great she is!! We had a larger sized group visiting the Big Island and we knew didn't want to cook every night or deal with the hassle of finding a reservation so we hired Angela for a couple meals on our visit. From start to finish she was so attentive to our dietary needs and likes and even came up with ideas that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves to help please our entire crowd. Angela and her crew and came and made us a couple of beautiful and delicious dinners-we were all wowed with how gorgeous her presentation was! She even made us a couple quiches for our mornings. She was such a delight to work with and made our trip so much more fun. My favs- ahi won ton nachos, her homemade sourdough bread, lilikoi cheesecake, Waimea filets with her purple potatoes- all were so yummy. We can't recommend her enough. read more

My wife and I recently shared 10 wonderful days, with our kids and grandkids in a marvelous home on the Big Island, Hawaii. The highlight was the delightful meal served on our anniversary by Angela and Arrow of Zink Catering. Every course was a taste voyage to a very happy place. In addition, we made two new friends. Angela and Aero did a great job for our birthday party. The macadamia rice, beef and fish was amazing! They made a sponge cake for dessert for a group that was delicious. The service was impeccable. We would love to have her again. read more

My family visited Kona for 10 days in May and we hired Angela to be our personal chef for several nights while we were there. We presented Angela with the ultimate challenge: to prepare meals that met the dietary needs of a vegan, pescatarians and carnivores. She came through with flying colors! Angela prepared creative, delicious meals that wowed and delighted everyone in our party. We couldn't have been more impressed or pleased. She was prompt, had meals ready at the appointed hour, and was a delight to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Angela as a personal chef. Angela cooked dinner last night for our family of five in our rental house. The first thing that happened was that we discovered that the oven didn't work! Angela was so resourceful and flexible. She managed to create a delicious dinner with the tools at hand. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. She and her helper, Arrow, were friendly, funny and warm and fit right in with our family. We had such a fun night! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
