It's close for my family since I'm out of town First, as a person who understands the plight of a small business owner, I completely understand not taking pictures of dresses prior to purchasing it. What I imagine happening is that women were coming in here, taking pictures, and finding it at another business like David's Bridal. Now saving money is never a complaint, however, small businesses don't have the capability to purchase items in the wholesale numbers like other large business competitors so therefore the prices might be a little higher. I would personally purchase from a small business and meet the owner and who the money is actually going to instead of an establishment like David's Bridal and never get the opportunity to meet the owner. I like the fact that I showed up on the day after Thanksgiving with an idea in my head and no appointment. I was quickly ushered in, went over my wants and needs, looked at about 4 dresses and fell in love with the absolute perfect dress for me. It's a sample dress that fits like a glove, shows off the figure I try my best to hide, and it makes me feel feminine and beautiful. The only alteration needed is to shorten the length since I will NOT be wearing very high heels and I'm 5'4". So I'll be shortening it about 4inches. Making a deposit was simple and easy. However, cards are only accepted when paid 10 days prior to pickup. Cash is only accepted on same day pick-ups with balances. Again, it makes sense to me. Having the hassle of having someone bounce a check and/or refute charges on a card after leaving the store is a hassle for a small business owner. FYI... You can always take pictures of the dress after making a deposit and/or full payment. Just ask. Anyone that knows me knows that I am not the typical woman in that I despise shopping. I actually had a couple people take me to a couple larger shops and not only did I not find anything that that I wanted it was apparent that the consultants were putting me in dresses that HAD to be customized to increase their commission. Again, why I prefer small businesses. I live out of town so I wouldn't be taking the dress with me. It's close enough for my Sister or Mom to pick it up on their lunch break or when they are out and about downtown.

I called weeks in advance to make appointments for a girls day out with my daughter and my Mother. This establishment stated mater of fairly they do not take appointments it was walk in only. Ok so the day is here and we set out to be at the store when it opens. We walked in and we were met with a lady who asked what we were there for. I explained we were there to try on wedding dresses. She asked if I had an appointment. I told her no and she said she could not show us dresses. I was extremely surprised and explained how I called weeks earlier and was told they do not take appointments. She then gruffly told me that was not true and who did I speak to. I was so taken back. I explained I did not have a name but I called this store. After a discussion back and forth, looking through the small selection the did NOT accommodate a larger size and the scheduled 1130 appt walked in I proceeded to leave. Come to find out the rude lady was actually the owner. I went to Melbourne who accommodated me wonderfully and I bought my beautiful dress and we even found the bridesmaids dresses and hit the jackpot with the mother of the bride dress. Happy ending to a terrible start to our day.

I called this store last week to inquire about consigning a wedding dress. Under the impression that I had all the information I needed I got in the car and drive an hour to get there. Upon arrival I was met with a tattered store front, dirty carpet, a moldy smell and a barefooted toddler with green snot running down her face. The woman I spoke with in the phone was there to greet me and was accompanied by a woman who appeared to be homeless and kept interferering with the conversation I was trying to have. The woman who worked there (who never introduced herself) was very rude and tried to make fun of me for my dress being wrinkled. I reminded her of the conversation we had last week in which I asked what the requirements were for the dress. She acknowledged me and still tried to put me down for it being properly prepared. She was VERY rude. I have worked in hispitality for 20 years and I would never dream of treating someone the way she treated me. Awful. I will not be returning.

Sleeves were too long, so we took the coat to Claudia to shorten the sleeves. Here's what happened: The coat was not ready the day and time she promised. She told my husband to run an errand, and she would do it before he returned in half an hour. My husband was understanding and kind about her forgetting he was to pick up the finished coat that day. He returned, paid Claudia, took the coat and left. When he returned home, he took it out of the bag she had put it in and showed it to me (I can sew, but I don't have a machine to do coats--that's why we brought it to Claudia). Clearly Claudia shoved these thick, lined sleeves under the needle and TOPSTICHED the hems, ripping the lining. These hems were lumpy, bumpy, and destroyed the elegance of the coat. My husband's new coat was now unwearable. We had to take the coat to a high-level tailor to repair the mess Claudia gave us and then do the hems properly. That was successful, but it cost a good bit. We asked Claudia for our money back. First her Zelle wouldn't "load" she said. Then she assured us she'd mail a check. No check, no refund. We can never recoup the time we wasted on this, but ask yourself, "What professional seamstress/tailor does shoddy work and then refuses to refund the money customers paid her in good faith"? She did an awful job, forced us to find someone else to fix her work and then hem the sleeves properly, and then, excuse after excuse, a check that was not sent, and a Zelle that was not sent, we finally have a Zelle today, 2/18. Assuming the Zelle clears on Tuesday, we will be refunded the money we paid her--after weeks of emails, texts, and requests for our money back.

Their flowers are made of bread dough -- yes, bread dough! They will last forever and look so incredibly gorgeous and elegant. We had a destination wedding -- it was amazing to just bring the bouquet with us and not have to worry about anything. So many of my guests and vendors complimented my bouquet! They can customize anything. I highly recommend that any bride who really wants something unique (and that they can keep and display over time) go to the showroom to see these flowers in person.
