My meal came out pretty quickly which was nice. The smoked meat sandwich was very tender and juicy like a good smoked meat should be. I think it was pretty comprible to Centre Street Deli. At $17.00 I think it was slightly pricey and it didn't come with fries which a miss. You could order fries for an addional $2.00. Overall it was a delicious sandwich and would definately come back if I am i the modd for a smaoke meat sandwich. Perhaps next time i would just get the sanwich and not get the special.

It's been around that long because the food and the prices are that good. I've stopped by here multiple times and always get the Old Fashioned Center Street Special on rye, medium (not lean) with extra meat. I've never been disappointed with this deli, the food is always delicious and tasty, the cuts of meat are fantastic, thick and juicy, and the fries are golden and crisp. It's a good deal for a good portion of food. The service is always friendly, with servers who are attentive, chatty and friendly. My only comment would be that because this Deli has been around for so long (as have I), I remember when I was little and the paint was fresh. But now it's been worn down and it's noticeable from the doorways to the chairs and tables. This staple of Thornhill is still delivering great food, but the restaurant itself needs some love and upkeep. A fresh coat of paint will go a long way.
