Robert Estrada was our DJ last night for our Halloween party. We have had our party for many years and always use a DJ. Since Covid we have had trouble locating the right person for us and have gone through a couple of different people. This year I happened upon Robert and I am so glad we did. Robert arrived a little earlier than we discussed and set up quickly. He played exactly what the party attendees wanted to hear and got everyone dancing. Part of the party was a costume contest and I had a complicated set up with many prizes. Robert managed to keep everyone engaged during the contest and made sure to keep all the contestants feeling appreciated. I hope to book him again next year, I hope he is available! read more

I threw a surprise graduation/ early birthday party for my husband and I received so many compliments about the DJ and how fun the music was. DJ Robert Estrada was very interactive with the audience in addition to taking song requests. There was a conga line which i was not expecting to have our Dj lead and the party loved it. It was a graduation combined with an early birthday, so one hiccup happened where we played a birthday song at the beginning of the set (but I didn't remind/ check in with Robert so that was my bad). Robert Estrada is an exceptional DJ and MC. He definitely made the party a hit. He listens to your requests and is very thoughtful and thorough. He arrives early ,sets up and gets the party rolling. He's very flexible and understanding in situations that require it. He really knows Music. He watch the crowd with a lot of attention to keep the pace and kept the party rocking. This review is much deserved and very late. We booked Rob for my daughter's 10th birthday last year during the pandemic. We were masked up and Rob came with his mask on (and mandalorian helmet!) my family and friends raved of the music and it was so epic. They are still talking about it a year later. Rob came on time and was pretty much the last person to leave. He kept the party upbeat and pumping. My neighbors liked him so much, they booked him for a neighborhood party the following week. Robert was recommended by a friend .. my wedding was all planned on a very low budget .. From the very start Robert was very friendly and exceptionally professional he met with us a couple of times before the wedding and had a whole time line. The vow renewal reception was brought to life and was everything we dreamed of and planned for and it would not have been this way if we wouldn't have had the BEST DJ! My school was having a musical emergency when our regular DJ couldn't make it to our dance. Rob drove all the way up to Sylmar after agreeing to come play our middle school dance THE NEXT DAY! He is a musical lifesaver. Ok so Robert is a wonderful DJ. I can't express how happy we were with the music, etc. He basically ran the wedding since our horrible wedding coordinator did not do anything the entire time. Robert did our wedding on Halloween 2010 and he was AWESOME. He was very energetic, entertaining, and played all the music we had on our playlist. He interacted with everyone and they loved him. My mom said to me she went to a friends wedding a few months before and she said the DJ they had was boring and played horrible music. The price was great and he worked within our budget, he also went all out with equipment to liven up the place. I have never written a review before but our experience was so terrible that I don't want this to happen to another Bride! Robert from angel heart entertainment is an awful DJ/MC! He never made a timeline, kept sending us a timeline with the money dance from someone else's wedding. Even after we emailed him the timeline WE created from scratch he showed up at our house 2 nights before with the wrong timeline. He charged us $200 more for a slideshow which he promised to be split screen, amazing and he showed up with wrinkled sheets with PVC pipe borders and grey ducked tape to the wall. One screen was half on the wall and crooked. He had music playing at random times, introduced my brother's name wrong-called him Michelle when his name is Michael and introduced him as my Dad! He said a few words at the wedding, even though he raved about his MC skills. The guest, nor us, knew when dinner, toast, started. We booked some dancers to represent our cultures and there was no intro to the acts so the guest were like what is going on???? I just wanted to hide underneath my wedding dress the whole night! The worst part- his female assistant who was not invited, showed up in a tight short dress sat on the stage the whole night next to our bride and groom table on the stage! She was in every picture of our first dance and father and daughter dance! We had to cut her out of our pictures for our album. We had 200+ guest at our wedding almost everyone noticed how awful Robert was! We almost thought it was a mean joke and he couldn't really be that unprofessional! Needless to say we were so embarrassed! I will say that he was a good dance instructor and helped us learn steps for our first dance and father and daughter dance which is why he gets 1 star but really-compared to everything else-it was not worth it!! If I was in denial- I have the wedding video as proof of his terrible performance! Don't let this happen to you! read more

Angelheart DJed our wedding and did a wonderful job. Robert met with us a couple of times before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page with everything we needed. As an emcee, he was very engaging with the guests and kept everything running smoothly. He paid close attention to the itinerary, and would let us know if we were running behind schedule. The music selection was diverse and up to date with the latest pop and hip hop tracks. He was even able to provide us with up-lights at a much better cost that what lighting companies had quoted us. Also his fee was very competitive and reasonable. It doesn't look like Angelheart has many Yelp reviews, but he's definitely worth a call if you're looking for DJ services. read more
