When I eat a pizza, I usually grade the taste by the crust texture and taste, the taste and consistency of the sauce and the amount of ingredients on the pizza. I do grade also if they tell you " we're out of this or that". Not acceptable, I ordered a pepperoni, thin crust with green olives, extra cheese and sauce and other veggies. Last time we went, and picked up our food writhing the 15-20 minute time frame, our pizza and breadsticks were room temperature if not cold. The place was just filled with a bunch of teenagers sitting around on their phones or talking. Not really what you want to see as a customer. Okay, so we like Angelina's Pizza. Sometimes it's great and sometimes just a little less than great. Like any place, depends who's makin the pizza that night. But, all in all, this pizza is very good. Gladly would recommend this place to anyone who's tired of all the other cardboard pizza from those "1,000 locations with one near you" type of pizza joints. I repeat, the pizza is good. Would give them a 5-Star rating if not for there stupid dining area. They should cut the size of this place in half. Just create a small foyer to wait and pay for your pizza, then leave. I may just be going up there at the wrong time, but since they've opened, I've NEVER ONCE seen anyone eating inside. Really, not once. And why would you want to eat inside at this place (or at the one in Olmsted Falls which has the same decor - or more accurately, a lack thereof)? I would really like to ask the owner of this establishment, exactly "what kind of dining experience are you trying to offer your customers?" Here, sit at this table and watch as everyone comes in to pick up their pizzas. Or hey, while you wait for your order, check out and see this nice Deli counter. It'll take you back in time and bring you sweet memories of going with grandma to the old butcher shop; before the fire and before they boarded up all the shops and stores downtown??? Been getting delivery from here for years and finally giving them their credit on Yelp! Their pizza has always been great (some of the best in Cleveland), but the latest one I had had me contemplating if it's my favorite of all time. We stopped over in Elyria, Ohio on our way to Canada, and we were hoping to order something in since the kids were tired. This place advertised all of these awards that they received locally for their pizza. Our hopes were high as we were hoping for some decent pizza and pasta. When the food arrived I am sad to say...it tasted just as it looked, bad and probably not freshly made. The onion rings were identical to the frozen ones you get in the store, and the pizza was sadly awful. The pasta noodles were decent, but the Alfredo sauce that came with them was ridiculous. The sauce was a watery mess with zero taste. I cannot imagine it did not come from a can. So please do not waste your time on this establishment. For a small town like Elyria it may pass the test, but it fails when you look at actual taste. read more

This WAS my favorite pizza until they delivered some an uncooked pizza. They did make it right by delivering another pizza but offered no discount. I went to order a pizza online today and the only option to pay is credit. I call them to express my concerns about the last delivery and they provided no customer service. At first they told me the last pizza I had was picked up. Wrong! Then went on to tell me they made it right last time. Where is the courtesy that I am afraid to pay for another pizza upfront and have it delivered undone? No customer service whatsoever. I tried, on five different occasions, to call and order a pizza. I could never get a call through. Mainly, it rang busy. When it did ring, it was not answered. I went there in person to order and was told that, when they get behind, they turn off the phones!!! This is the DUMBEST thing I've ever heard of in a business. All they have to do is tell you your order will be ready in one hour, ninety minutes, whatever. You do not frustrate the life out of your customer. I prefer non-breaded wings so they were a little soggy in my opinion, however, the flavor was great. I totally get this isn't a typical "restaurant setting" but if you're going to advertise that you have a dining area where patrons are going to be greeted and orders taken... maybe you should follow up on the process. I just got off work from working a 12 hr shift. Was talking to my friend who raved about their pizza. She said it was to die for. I called and asked if they had a sit down area or if it was just a typical pizza place where you have pickup or delivery. The gentleman that responded to me replied with "we got whatever you need"... Strike 1. I pulled in and stood at the front counter and not once did I get greeted or told someone would be with me shortly. Finally I just said "excuse me should I just take a seat if I want to order and eat here" some guy with a hat backwards and his pants around his lower thigh (while wearing a belt) told me someone would be over to take care of me shortly... I waited for 8 minutes. Nobody came over with a menu or even a glass of water to introduce me to their menu. I got up to get my own. Strike 2.. Now as I got handed a menu I asked what was good or a recommendation and the guy with the hat backwards and the pants down at his lower thigh (with a belt on) replied with "shiiiit, everything's great here. I take something home every night ‍. Strike 3.. I'm out. Maybe I'll catch a sampling at my friends gathering next time since she thinks so highly of this preposterous establishment. read more

This place has amazing pizza, my parents used to drive to their other location when I was a kid to pick up dinner. The location wasn't close to us but it was definitely our families favorite and then came an Elyria location too. Don't always have to many deals but I'd say it's the best in the area hands down!!! Probably been eating their pizza for 15 years or more between the two locations. A little pricier then other place but I'd say you get what you pay for. All I know about is their pizza, never tried anything else on their menu. Definitely worth giving it a try if you've never had it. read more
