Came here with a group on St. Patrick's Day to get our karaoke on, and it was a fun time! They have a very extensive list of songs, which is a plus. The place was packed (duh, St. Patrick's Day), so it was kind of hard to find a place to stand (we had one table and our group was too big to fit), but we made it work. Drink prices were reasonable enough as well. Service was a little on the slow side, but I'll chalk it up to it being St. Patrick's Day as it was pretty darn busy and they were clearly hustling. The one weird thing was that they had the karaoke set up so the people who were singing were standing right inside the door. So literally you walk in and you're right upon the person who's singing. I came here for karaoke on a Thursday night. I was told that it's usually pretty busy after 10, but I was there a bit earlier than that so I got the benefit of singing my heart out without having to wait for everyone else in the neighborhood to sing. Joy, the KJ, is entertaining and nice of course (go tip her lots) and the song selection is AWESOME. I seriously have never been to another karaoke that had anywhere near the selection as Joy has! The food is also pretty good. I only had a slice of pizza, but YUM, who knew bar food could be so yummy? It was a big square hunk of deliciousness and the cheese was so soft and gooey and perfect! Definitely worth the $3 or whatever. I was pleasantly surprised at the low prices on their food. I'll be back to try more! I don't drink alcohol, but they had a special on Not Your Father's Root Beer floats, so I requested a coke float instead. It was only $2 and I got such a big hunk of ice cream, there wasn't much room for the coke! That's my kind of float right there! read more

I like it a lot better now with the new owners and remodel. Cheap drink prices, nice bartenders, pool table, dart boards, touch tunes jukebox, karaoke on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays! Went on a Sunday evening and they had karaoke, even though there weren't a lot of people. The overall vibe is pretty mellow (could have been just because it was a Sunday), and there's plenty to do here. I ordered wings and a beer. The wings were really big, and not all that great. Seasoning and dipping sauces were just okay. The wait/bar staff was subpar, even though there weren't that many people. I don't think I'll return to this place. read more

Was thrilled to find that the owners of Blueberry Hill (everyones favorite dive) was taking over this spot after seeing about 3 different bars there in the course of 2 months. Been stopping in for karaoke on my nights off and they get a great crowd. The people are nice and easy to talk to, they really get into it there. Luckily none of the D-bag crowd from Doc Ryan's migrate down there. The service...is mixed. The girls that work there are actually good bartenders and weren't just hired because of their gender. I never noticed them smelling like pot and honestly compared to other bartenders there, thats the least of their worries. Theres two guys there on Thursdays. One is very professional and attentive. The other will run this business into the ground. I dont know where to begin with this dude. For one, I noticed him not ringing in my drink order and making change with his tips with my cash. So, basically he just stole my money. Another time that he was buying shots for his friends (one of many) he used dirty shot glasses. Not cool. Thought I'd be safe going on his night off recently but when I used the bathroom, him and 4 of his friends all came out of the same bathroom stall. While washing my hands, one of the guys scowled at me and said "the fuck you want?" Well, to me, when 5 dudes are all in one bathroom stall, it means either a circle jerk or cocaine use. I'm pretty sure both were going on lol Seriously, they were coked up. So, I'm really torn with this place. Overall it has great potential but it only takes one fucktard to ruin it. Being a small business owner is hard as hell and I'd hate for this to be a setback to the owners. I'd have emailed them personally on this manner but couldn't find any contact info. I'd still check them out, just avoid the hot mess bartender (hes easy to spot) and use your credit card. read more

Bartenders are mediocre, in terms of demeanor, personality and personal attire. Drinks are reasonably priced. Karaoke is all over the place, but kind of funny in train-wreck kind of a way. I'd only go again if I was dragged in leg irons. read more

I came here yesterday during the day and met Angela who was very nice! Variety of beers on tap and a simple tasty menu. My friend and I ordered the 10' pizza it comes with 4 toppings for only 8 bucks and its fresh dough! The wings they sell whole for only $1.25 with awesome garlic parmesan and buffalo sauces! One of the chefs Frank does a great job, I will definitely be back with more friends! :) read more

Everything is cheap and the food is good. The wings and the Italian beef pizza in particular. Plenty of TVs for sports and a TouchTunes jukebox are great. They don't have a sign out front, which I think helps keep it from getting too busy. I love this spot. read more

Angelo o'leary's has some of the friendliest staff around. It's nice, classy, and popular with the young, hip crowd. There's one bartender in particular, who might be prone to some rowdy behavior, but I knew the second we locked eyes I would be the one to break his heart. I have deduced his bisexuality as well as his love for me, and I shall turn a cold shoulder as rejecting beautiful men makes me feel better about myself. But I digress. Dear Bacon ... You're way off. First of all I can tell you as a long time bartender making change out of your tips is a very common practice. It prevents you from having to deplete the bank. Second, this "fucktard" as you call him is the owner and manager and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be doing things as a detrement to his bar. He will buy shots for his "friends" but its really a function of the dart nights they host. He buys a certain amount of shots and drinks as team drinks. Third ... Quit being such a pussy. The drinks are cold and the bartenders are attentive to the people in there to spend money. So many people come in to A.O'Learys and nurse one beer while they sing karaoke and don't even tip Joy (the karaoke DJ). If you don't like it there are plenty of other bars to go to. I was with a group of girls last night celebrating a bachelorette party. We walked in and sat down at the bar. There were maybe 8 other patrons present when we walked in so it wasn't busy at all. I sat at the bar and waited 10 minutes, never once getting asked by the bartender if I would like a drink. It took me another 5 minutes for her to come take my order after being told "hold on I'm busy." This bartender was incredibly rude off the bat, while all I asked was "can I please order?" She finally comes up to me and while I'm in the middle of placing my food and drink order she interrupted me, said "hold on" again and walked away. Several minutes passed until she came back up to begin taking my order again. I don't know where she went or what she was doing in this time, she just completely disappeared from the bar all together and did not come back with any supplies in hand. The remainder of the night there was spent pretty much the same. We felt like she was purposely ignoring us, making snarky comments in reply to us when we tried to speak to her, and sending dirty looks our way when she actually looked at us. The only reason we stayed as long as we did was because we were waiting for our food and then eating it. Her customer service skills were severely lacking. I never got her name but she was a tall, heavier set girl who just seemed like she hated her job. Definitely not a person I'd want tending bar if I had owned the establishment. When the cook came out of the kitchen with our food he was as kind as could be. He took a few more drink orders from us as well, gave us prompt service with a smile. He is the only reason I'm giving my experience at this bar 2 stars, if it wasn't for him I would give this place 0 stars based off of how we were treated by the original bartender. read more

Angelo Olearys is a great place for the less persnickety of the populous. Great bartenders. Especially Marty jr. He is accurate, swift in preparation and great to talk to. He is also aware of what's going on inside the bar since many things can happen to belongings. He actually saw who took something of mine and helped me retrieve it. Great bars have great staff. I've been a customer of this bar through a few different changes in owners, and the current management is by far the best it's been. The remodel looks great and most nights I've been there is a crowd that is reasonably mixed and unpretentious (this is a sticking point for me.) If I could I'd give it 0 stars this is the second time I've been here with my friends (it's been at least a year since last time) The service is mediocre don't ask for coke or Pepsi they don't have any (and if they do it's expired I was brought out products after the bartender went to the back and I looked at the bottom of the Pepsi product that expired a year ago) should have posted a while ago but I figured I give it another try. The breaded mushrooms tastes like foam the only thing they have going for them is the atmosphere and karaoke and my friends enjoy Karaoke. As for the bartender Stephanie rude tried to order pizza 7 minutes before their kitchen closed but nope it's too late ok I guess I'll take my business elsewhere. It's one thing to tell someone they are done for the night and it's another to rudely be like nope kitchens closed so to the other bartender I have no apologies calling her out on it when I'd didn't even order with you. Maybe the owner of this Bar should cater to his clients before the health department is called on them. read more
