I hired Angelo's for carpet cleaning and air duct cleaning at my new home, I'm EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with how the services went and here is why: To begin, when they pulled into my driveway they ran over the end of my sidewalk with their vehicle and popped off one of the bricks which I now have to re-glue. Air Ducts: They began the air duct cleaning and shortly into the service they damaged one of my air ducts behind the wall, thus leaving me with a now broken airway to my powder room. The technician's equipment and large hose was shoved into my vent with no pre-examination of the sizing and now my flexible duct does not reach as it once did prior to Angelo's showing up. By shoving their equipment down improperly, they popped off the flexible duct even though it was zip tied (as it is supposed to be) and shredded it. They said they would have a manager come out to speak and review the issue that day and that never happened. Carpets: They arrived with equipment that was very different than what I was expecting. It did not appear to be commercial equipment rather something similar to what I could buy myself (like a Bissell). The carpet did get cleaned, but to me it seemed very odd that their equipment wasn't what I'm used to seeing. Several stains are still on my carpets (which I know sometimes they are very hard to remove), but most times they are able to at least be lessened. I give them a 7/10 on the carpets. I have been in contact with them about a refund and they only gave me $50 back for the 2 vents they charged me for! that they broke and weren't able to clean. Now I need to go to Home Depot and spend more $$$ to try and correct this duct problem they created. Their fine print states that they "aren't responsible for damages behind walls" which is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion. Only good thing is that they were responsive to the email complaint. DO NOT USE THEM for your air duct cleaning. I should have gone with Stanley Steamer instead and will never be using Angelo's again -- you shouldn't either. read more

I never felt compelled to provide such a negative review for a service but this company more than deserves it by its actions and inactions. We had contacted Angelo's Cleaning to perform rug cleaning in our townhouse in Exton, PA. The company also advertised dryer vent cleaning so we decided to have them perform this service at the same time. BIG MISTAKE. The dryer vent cleaning was a total disaster. The type of spinning metallic brush they use failed to navigate properly through our flexible vent hose eventually getting tangled up within the vent and breaking the brush head off. The technician tried to hide that this happened until I directly questioned him why there was so much banging noise while they were cleaning the vent. He immediately blamed the problem on the vinyl material of the vent hose. Prior to cleaning, it would have taken him 2 minutes to examine the dryer exhaust vent to see the vent hose itself. If he felt his method of vent cleaning was not appropriate or a safe way to clean our dryer vent it should not have been done. There was no apology from the technician or any offer that the company would perform any repairs for the damage which left our dryer totally unusable. We were asked to pay by check for the rug and dryer vent cleaning in advance of any work performed. It didn't occur at the time that we should never have had to pay for the vent cleaning. Without any offer to repair the damage we felt we were on own to remedy the problem of venting the dryer by an alternative method. We contacted the owner of Angelo's Cleaning to notify him of all our efforts and expense to use our dryer again. He came over to examine the situation and easily verified by looking at the vent exhaust that a vinyl vent hose was installed. The owner, too, blamed the vinyl material for everything and did not offer to reimburse us for any portion of our expense to remedy the damages. He just referred us to his company's Dryer Vent Cleaning paragraph in the Terms and Conditions that states "Plastic vinyl hose should never be used behind walls and can become fragile with age and break. This is the customers cost to fix if this happens." He did ultimately refund our vent cleaning payment. If you have any type of flexible dryer vent hose in your walls, I would suggest you be very weary of having Angelo's Cleaning to do any dryer vent cleaning. If anything goes wrong, they will just blame the customer. read more

I was disappointed with my recent service from your company. The rugs were not wrapped when they were returned to me. Whether they were to be stored or not, it would be most professional to wrap them for your customers. Additionally, one of the rugs was not even rolled up properly. At a minimum, you should be taking the initiative to ask your customers whether they will be stored or not and how they would like the rugs returned. It should not be up to me to specify that. I was also not happy with the lack of concern or understanding given by your customer service team when I expressed this disappointment over the phone. I will not be using your services again, nor will I recommend you to friends or family but I do highly recommend that you improve your customer service experience. I had my air ducts cleaned. The service was well done and the cleaners were very professional. They went above and beyond their work and it did not go unnoticed. For a small row home, the service took about 2 hours, as they had predicted. I was happy with the price and would recommend them to anyone. Let's face it, no one looks forward to having their carpets cleaned. And who wants to deal with wet carpets? We needed this service after a home renovation, there was dust and dirt in every crevice. Rob from Angelo's did a great job. And he was very knowledgeable about carpet in general. Our carpet was deeply cleaned and looked brand new once dried and vacuumed. We have used Angelo's multiple times and have always been very pleased with how thorough they've been with cleaning our carpets and oriental rugs. They have always been able to remove tough stains ( we had 2 dogs) and deodorize the carpets. And everything dries faster than other companies or us using our carpet cleaner! We really needed to have our dryer vent cleaned, as we could not use the dryer until this was done. After contacting many other businesses (neighbor/friend suggestions) to no avail, no openings, no calls back, I turned to Yelp and found Angelo's. Thank goodness I did! Not only was our call answered immediately (and politely), the work was done the following day, and ahead of schedule. Angelo's also provided, what's that word....oh yeah, COMMUNICATION to us in the form of texts & emails showing arrival date/time, work order/#, and amount to be charged. What a concept. Angelo's knows how to treat their customers and run a successful business. We definitely will use them again, especially judging by the great job they did for us when we really needed it. read more

Duct cleaning at the new (old) house was a challenge! Despite that the house was small, our guy had to "blast" through the ductwork a few times to clean them out. Would love to show photos of before and after, but taking pictures was somewhat the last thing on anyone's mind. The debris, nicotine, alien dirt balls of heaven knows what, were cleared out, and the nicotine smell was 98% reduced. After replacing all registers, 99% clear. He used a spray inside the ducts and intake to breakdown the offensive odors, that performed fairly well. Now, the mess it created was horrific! Large debris was swept up but light fixtures, appliances, bath, kitchen, woodwork, etc received the aftermath. Fortunately the house was empty, and although freshly painted, I was smart enough to schedule a cleaning crew to clean and sanitize the house before move-in. Good company, excellent work ethic, no hidden fees; will recommend to others. read more
