Service and food both average. Ordered slice of pepperoni and fries. Fries came out quick and waited about 5 minutes longer for pizza. Lady next to me got 2 slices of pepperoni before me even though she ordered after me. I could tell my waitress was confused. She went to counter and asked. A minute later 2 more slices came out and she clearly asked the other waitress a out it and I heard her say, just take one of mine. I dont know. Pizza was good, but fries just average. read more

Got seated quickly and greeted by a pleasant waitress. Mostly plastic/wood booth type seating. They serve fresh ice tea and lemonade from the adjoining shop which was nice. Food was just o.k which is why the three stars. We ordered a salad, buffalo chicken sub, spaghetti and meatballs, and sausage Alfredo. The Alfredo was swimming in sauce but the meat was ok. The rest of the food was good - about on par with diner food. Overall we'd go again if we were hungry and in need of a place to sit down to eat but wouldn't be our first choice. read more

Super old school Italian joint, and didn't have high expectations as it was late night and the only eat-in place on the boardwalk that had no wait. The eggplant parm sub was perfection - bread fresh and toasted, thin slices of eggplant and the right amount of mozzarella and sauce. Reminded me of the eggplant parm subs from Staten Island. My boys loved their pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. My husband ordered a cheeseburger that was huge and he also said it was reminiscent of old-school diner burgers. Will definitely return. read more

This has to be the worst restaurant on the boardwalk. The $16 cheesesteak was pitiful, half filled roll and bland. The pizza was mid, a ton of restaurants serve better pizza in the area. Mozzarella sticks looked like they came from Arby's. What they charge for the crap food they serve is outrageous, way overpriced! read more

We had a great family meal there with our children and grandchildren. The service was excellent and the waitstaff were very friendly. All of our food was was excellent and we had a lot of fun singing Sweet Caroline with people from many other tables. We were there on a Tuesday night early and had no wait for a large table. last stop for pizza on the OC boardwalk and they know it. Just go home hungry or turn around. Places like this stay afloat by selling a large volume of bad food to beachgoers. This is a bad pizza. There's 10 better slices on the boardwalk. read more

Wife had Italian hoagie and I had cheesesteak. Both disappointing. No sweet peppers for hoagie. Need more meats/cheeses - only filled half the roll. Same for cheesesteak - only half filled the roll. For a $15-16 each plus $4 soda, it's skimpy and overpriced. read more

Just visited here, Monday, June 10. After a long day of beach, walking, shopping, went home to get showered and go to the boardwalk for dinner. I had Angell's in mind because I'm gluten-free and it is the only place that offers gluten-free crust. We got there around 8:40 PM and no customers were in the restaurant. It kind of scared us. The door was halfway closed so I opened it and asked if they were open. The girl said they just closed. When I asked why so early, she said " it's Monday." Apparently all the stores on the boardwalk close early on Monday until kids are out of school mid-June. I asked her if there was any other pizza place they know of that serves gluten-free pizza. I guess the owner heard me and offered to make me a pizza! I thought that was very kind of him, so I went ahead and ordered a pepperoni pizza. While it was costly at $21, that's not unusual for gluten-free. It was a very good, thin crust (probably made from rice flour.) The pepperoni was spicy and the sauce and cheese were very good. I thought it was kind of him to to make it even though they were already closed and told him that. He said "we are here to serve the public." I will go back the next time I'm in Ocean City. read more

We sat ourselves and were waited on immediately. The pizza was great. I had a slice of white and a slice cheese. Slices were thin and crispy and not super scalding hot. They were just the right temperature. My bf ordered extra cheese slices. They used whole slices of American cheese which we thought was a little odd but he did enjoy his meal. Rather expensive (4.25 for a slice of pizza as of the summer of 2022), but delicious enough for it to be worth it. Not too greasy, perfect amount of cheese, and each slice is a great size. A delicious meal or snack for when you're walking the boardwalk and want a savory treat. The downside? Their pizza has sort of ruined all of my once-favorite pizzerias in my hometown, because once you're used to Angelo's, nothing can compare! read more

I've been visiting Ocean City nearly every year for the last 15 years and Angelo's has been a staple for our family. They have authentic Italian food and the owners are from Italy. The pizza is amazing! They also have a lot of really good sandwiches and other Italian pasta dishes. If you are ever going to Ocean City Angelos is a must! read more

I'm torn. I get a chicken cheesesteak. It came lonely on a paper plate all by itself. No chips. No pickle. But the roll was A+ great and it was a clean, simple chicken steak, which turned out a blessing. No mess, no goo, no juice running down your arm. Just a pretty delicious, if lonely, sandwich. I got fries -- crispy and hot. My wife got a chicken Caesar salad. Big, fresh and good. Service was petty fast and leaning friendly. The only thing stopping from at least 4 stars is the prices. Cheesesteak was $12. Fries were $5. That's $17 for a $9 sandwich that usually comes with fries. On the menu, all the subs were $12. Eggplant parm was $28. Lasagna was $30. This is the boards in OC, not NYC! So, food was simple, good and hot. Just save your pennies. read more

Awful, VERY overpriced pizza. Blame it on move it day to our rental and trying to get dinner on a Saturday night in high season. After calling 2 places, 1 who didn't answer and the 2nd being an hour and 45m wait, tried the next place on the list without looking at their menu and just ordering (2) pizzas. I thought when I ordered the pizzas, the guy said $51. But when I arrived to pick up the pizzas, it was $71, ~$40 for a buffalo chic pizza and ~$28 for a regular plain pizza. Is this a resort or the OCNJ boardwalk? Absolutely ridiculous and the pizza was AWFUL. You should NOT be charging this amount for pizza. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Me and my boyfriend just went here after looking up places for Italian food. With pretty good reviews we decided to try it out. We sat down and i ordered the TWENTY SIX DOLLAR stuffed shells. I had pretty decent expectations with it being a family owned business. However, I was given a poor excuse of a side salad and 4 microwaved stuffed shells. I tried half of one and my boyfriend tried the other half. Literally DISGUSTING. watery "cheese" filled stuffed shells that I would not even feed a dog. I told our waiter I did not want them. He took my plate and brought us the check - which still had the stuffed shells on it. We asked for them to be taken off given I tried one and they were literally inedible. He said it was "store policy" since I had eaten some of it. If I didn't eat it how would I know I wouldn't like it? Ridiculous. We asked for the manager which he followed with "I am the manager" .. what kind of manager wants to have their customers leave angry and hungry and provide absolutely no accommodations. My boyfriend ordered a bacon cheese burger which came with 3 pieces of microwave bacon. Our waiter handed him the burger holding it with his thumb leaving an imprint on top of it. I will not be back and if you are even thinking about going here ... TRY SOME WHERE ELSE! read more

I decided to do a pizza tour of Ocean City. I always considered Manco my favorite, but how can I safely call Manco the best if I don't try other choices. After trying a slice at Angelo's, I'm now much more set in my opinion that Manco is the best. It wasn't a bad slice here. It's just that absolutely nothing about the taste was special. I mean nothing. It was a decent slice. It was nothing more than that. read more

I am so disappointed that after coming to this restaurant for 25 years I can officially say I will no longer visit Angelos. They can blame Covid all they like, but charging one dollar for tapwater when your baked ziti is $27 and $25 for ravioli is just outrageous and unacceptable. Angelos, you have lost my respect and my business. Good luck. read more

Friendly waitstaff, delicious pasta dishes, and although everything was made to order, we didn't wait longer than 10 minutes for our food, despite how crowded they were. Owned and operated by two Italian brothers, so the food is pretty authentic. Will be back! read more

I have been here many times and absolutely love it! From a rocking slice of pizza to the shrimp and crab pasta special, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The owners are from Italy and really know how to make their customers satisfied. Their dinner specials all come with a salad and fresh bread. Serving staff is always very attentive. Pizza place but try other dishes! I have to admit, I didn't enjoy the Pizza. Plenty of better slices on the boardwalk. But my kids enjoyed them and they were very large slices, which was nice. But my wife and I tried other items on the menu and they were delicious and made with love. We definitely enjoyed those dishes and will be back! read more

A pleasant surprise on the boardwalk. As most places only take cash, my friends and I were kind of at a loss since all we had were credit cards. Regardless we checked out our luck at every restaurant-like place. I was really craving Italian so when we stumbled upon this it was kind of a given that we would go if they took credit cards. I expected the prices to be a lot cheaper than they were given the ambience of the place ( take out pizza parlor ). However, considering that everything is probably over priced down near the ocean the prices were in the general range of the restaurants nearby. The food itself was phenomenal! I was pleasantly surprised at the flavors that were used to spruce up just spaghetti and meatballs. The other two entrees we got were chicken parm sub and the shrimp tomotoe dried butter garlic sauce on ziti. By far the best plate was the shrimp dish. In addition, their bread is nicely toasted when served and VERY fresh. Definitely come here! read more

Love. It's authentic without all the gourmet bells and whistles of Manco & Mancos crust. My family has a yearly dispute over which is better so I had to right review to stick up for my favorite. Been going to Angelo's for years. Food has always been good, and made fresh, and served hot. Had dinner this evening, food was good, as usual. The issue is the pricing has increased 35%, plus a 4% charge if you use a credit card. Most expensive plain pizza on the boardwalk $27.00. Preps, Manco,Pisa all under $20.00. I would hope that Angelo's would come back to earth, on pricing. read more

I get really steamed when a place gets 4 stars and you come to find out that the place doesn't even deserve one star. Angelo's is boardwalk food. You would not consider this a real Italian restaurant. The tomato sauce screams Jar and their meats scream frozen. I would say fast food Italian except it's not very good fast food. I can't imagine the 4 star raters ever had real Italian food before... or maybe they're just "friends". read more

I eat here at least twice a week due to my working on the boardwalk. The pizza is the best in town (try the tomato pie), and the sandwiches are excellent as well. Great nightly dinner specials and dishes. Not usually overcrowded because it is located on the quieter side of the boardwalk. A great place for a family meal in OC. Something for everyone. read more

This place is a must do every season! We go here right when we get to the beach and then later in the week for dinner. The server billed us $34 and said it was because we split it. $34 dollars for butter noodles for two kids?! We usually come here 1-2 times every summer but this is the last time. There are so many great places down here that don't extort patrons for kids meals.
