Ordered a Pizza and a meatball Stromboli, only to find out that whatever they're using for meatballs, it's just seasoned ground. Beef balls it almost looks like sausage on a Domino's Pizza has no flavor it was very disappointed. Contacted them and the girl that was working at the time could care less whether we got good quality or not. She said their ground meatballs, which I've never heard of I've ordered from several mom and pops restaurants and never had this experience. How do I put this? Horrible customer service skills by the person answering the phone!!! I tried calling in a deliver order and clearly the guy who answered the phone was ridiculously distracted. He asked the question "take out or delivery?) three different times and just couldn't understand that we wanted a delivery. It got worse from there. I had to repeat my order FOUR TIMES. It was a simple order, a pizza & an Italian sub that we wanted baked instead of cold. He didn't know what the word "baked" meant. Finally got past that & gave him my credit card number. At the end of it, once again he asked, "can you repeat that?". When I asked "which part?" He answered, "the whole thing". I could understand his inability to hear if there was a lot of background noise, but there wasn't! Or if I had an accent maybe but I don't. I asked to speak to someone else who would better be able to hear or understand me. He flat out said "no"!!! I ask his name & he responded "what is YOUR name?". Honestly the rudeness and total lack of customer service skills was one of the worst I've ever experienced! Can't report him because the guy refused to give his name. HOWEVER, they took no responsibility!! The blamed everyone else! They blamed grub hub. They actually, ACTUALLY, said it was probably oregano! Even after we explained the gravity of the situation and how this nearly choked my guest! The DID NOT CARE! Do NOT BUY FROM A BUSINESS THAT TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY!! we ordered pizza Friday night 12/6/2024 at 5:15pm, they finally delivered to us cold pizza at 6:30pm. When we called a young male answered the phone saying hello not Amici pizza. This place used to be great and my husband made the mistake to have pizza dellvered, we live 2.2 miles away, almost 1.5 hours to recieve cold pizza with very little sauce. We will not get pizza here again, used to be good now just slow and cold. Hopefully after this review they won't be "so jammed up" again. read more

Great place for take out food but if you don't like potato salad on your Greek salad (like me) be sure to check it before you leave the establishment. i ordered a Greek salad a few weeks ago and requested to have it on the side but when I got home it was smack dab in the middle of the salad. fast forward to tonight- at 5;30 pm I called and requested the large Greek salad with potato salad on the side but before leaving the counter I asked for the woman to check to be sure my order was made as requested and low and behold there it was again smack dab in the middle of the salad. So I'm visiting my Mom for a few weeks from San Diego. Last time I was here, we had a delightful meal at Brix 33, (going there tomorrow!), yet were looking to have something delivered. Mom recommend Amici. I like that they deliver and I don't need to go through a delivery service. I really like their pizzas. The crust is so flavorful, and not too thick... not too thin. The toppings were so fresh. My first one was steak, tomatoes and peppers. Cooked perfectly, the peppers were cut into chunks, not strips. I never knew it made a difference. The beef was tender and perfectly seasoned. My next pizza had broccoli, green peppers and tomatoes. Beautifully prepared. I rarely eat the crust yet I ate theirs! read more

I'm surprised by the mixed reviews here. I'm a native NYer and can pretty picky about pizza. This place is the best I've found outside of NY. Reasonable prices and always ready when they say it will be. UPDATE: we went two weeks ago and half the staff weren't wearing masks and no one was wearing gloves, including the girl who kept going in the ovens to check the pizzas. She just kept picking up the edges and checking the crust, I never saw her put on gloves or wash her hands. That's pretty gross, especially in the middle of an epidemic. read more

Ordering and paying was easy through the app. I chose to pick up and that too was very smooth. The pizzas were ready when promised. I ordered a pizza for delivery. After it arrived I let it sit to cool off a bit. When I opened the box I noticed little sugar ANTS on the inside of the box. Now I've never had any issues with ants in my house. But for due diligence and before jumping to conclusions, I looked around to see if they came from outside the box. There were none. Only in the box. I even ordered garlic knots which I placed on top of the box while cooling off. No ants in the garlic knots, nor the surrounding area on the countertop. I've never left a negative review, and I'm sorry to do so, but my husband and I ordered from Amici's on Saturday evening. We ordered 2 pizzas, but the one that we think caused the food poisoning was the cheese pizza By Sunday afternoon, we were both sick with a severe case of food poisoning, as was our friend's daughter who was over with her parents. She, my husband and I were the only ones who had the cheese pizza. All three of us were sick with vomiting and diarrhea from Sunday afternoon until around 6 am Monday morning. I read a previous review stating that someone saw they don't use masks or gloves. Because of that disturbing information coupled with this awful experience, we will never order from here again. Edit: I'd like to add that my husband intermittent fasts, so we know for sure that this was the only thing he ate on Saturday. read more

The pizza is alright. I personally like the fact that you can eat it with one hand and not need your other hand to support it because it's so bogged down with toppings. My hubby did not enjoy it at all; felt it was "bland." We also ordered the crispy chicken salad which could use improvement, as it was basically a cold chicken tender cut up & thrown over a bed of iceberg lettuce.
