I must have driven by this place daily for the last 7 years. Tonight, after the gym the beau and I decided that we should grab some grub and I decided that Angelo's pizza would be where we'd get our food. Walking in, it wasn't busy, but it sure smelled delicious. The eatery was sporting 3 different families eating, including the kids of one of the cooks, and boy!They were cute. We were able to sit where we wanted, and our waitress was there in a flash to take our drink orders. I ran to the rest room (It was clean and even had a few current ladies magazines.)while the beau placed our order for a Mozzarella Caprese salad, and Chicken Parmagana, with a salad. The Caprese was delightful, the Chicken Parmigana was great! The order was large enough to split between the two of us, with it's side of linguini. We left happily full. read more

Oh Angelo's how my husband loves your pizza. The Hubster is from New York and takes his pizza seriously. Ever since he's lived in the area Angelos is our go too! As for me, I like more wood fired pizza but for the type this is the best. This is the only place we have found that has sliced sausage when asked, and sliced meatballs on the pizza! Talk about heaven! The crust is delicious and the Hubster thinks the garlic knots are on par! The only question you find yourself asking is how to eat the huge slices!? Are you a folder? I am sorry to share a poor review about this business but we have choices to make when we get something to eat at a restaurant. Three of us ordered dinner there and the food was heavenly, couldn't ask for better. Lasagna, linguine with mushrooms and meat, and spaghetti with meatballs. Caesar salad was good except I didn't find any expected anchovies and the salad was served in a bowl not a plate. I was forced by the waitress to use one fork for both salad and the main course. This is not a destination restaurant. And, unless you live in the general vicinity, chances are you'll stumble upon Angelos by chance - as we did on a trip to the area the visit the mermaid show for our eight year old. All of that said - it's good, really good. The menu is broad (in terms of the eclectic options) and the portions are generous. The staff are very kind and attentive and the environment feels warmer and more inviting than its strip mall location. The American-Italian food selections feel like they have been plucked right out of Long Island, NY. Starting with the cheese enveloped eggplant parmigiana and the really tasty carbonara. The pizza was so New York-centric - that I felt like I was back in a walk-up pizzeria. I'm not sure I'll ever be in the area again, but I would definitely eat at Angelos again. read more

I ordered a cheese pizza and a dozen garlic knots. the garlic was cut into large chunks and the knots were covered in the garlic butter sauce. I think they are precooked then, when ordered, the garlic butter sauce is poured over them and heated up. They had waaay too much garlic. Maybe they could try making a garlic sauce with minced garlic instead. The pizza crust was freshly made and tasted great. Unfortunately, the sauce was too salty. The sauce is what makes or breaks the pizza so...I won't order pizza again. I may try their pasta dishes but they probably use the same marinara sauce. read more

This was my first time here and at first I thought the restaurant was cute and I was excited to get my food. I sat at a table with my laptop and did some work while I was waiting for my food because they said it would be 15-20 minutes. Then I was greeted by a server named AnnaMarie who brought me my food and made my experience there terrible. She brought me my food and the food I was taking to go. Then she came up to me while I was eating and said next time "if you have food to go you have TO GO". She said the owner doesn't like bags at the table and that didn't make sense to me. There were barely people in the restaurant and I felt like I was getting kicked out. I could feel that they did not want me there even though I was a paying customer who decided to eat my food at the restaurant. I will never be coming here again and I don't even know why the food here is rated 4 stars. The penne vodka tastes like sauce from a jar that I could have made at home. Unfortunate experience that was not worth my money. I don't recommend coming here. read more

Tom Terrific here with another honest review. I love the pizza here and they have a lunch special of two slices of cheese pizza and a drink until 5 pm. They have a pretty full menu of Italian classics and quite a few tables but with little ambiance. You can watch TV on their screen. They only have one server and it can occasionally be slow service but that only happened once. Give Angelo's Pizza a try. read more

I stopped into Angelo's Pizzeria for lunch. It is near work and I was wanting pizza. We were quickly greeted and given menus and brought out our beverages. They sell pizza by the slice, so I got 2 slices of pepperoni and my wife got a calzone. The calzone was huge, filled with ricotta cheese, pepperoni and served with a side of marinara. The pizza was good. It was a bit greasy, but you could hold it up without it sagging. The restaurant was clean, had a nice interior decor and didn't have the typical feel of a "New York" pizza joint. The prices are reasonable, service was good and friendly. For those reasons I rate it a bit higher than what I might based on food alone. I would recommend this restaurant. read more

We ordered over $100 of food on Uber Eats. We received less than half what we ordered and they didn't seem to care when we called. Said if we wanted the rest of the food, we'd have to come and get it. They said, "We got busy and just missed items on the order." The food we did receive took nearly 1.5 hours and it was cold, bland and sloppily made. The lasagna meat was mushy and didn't even taste like meat. The chicken alfredo had absolutely no taste whatsoever and seemed like it was canned chicken. The bread was hard as a rock. The rest we never received. Would not order here again. read more

Angelo's is legit. Stopped in here, grabbed a cold slice of pizzer and two sammiches. Both sammies were of the Italian faction. One is called Angelo's special, and the other is the Sicilian sub. On the surface, they look the same. However, the Sicilian is served betwixt Sicilian pizza dough sliced in half, while the other is on a hoagie roll. Tough to say which one I like best because they both bring different textures to the table, literally. I guess if you twisted my arm for an answer, I'd go with the Sicilian because of its unique bread. As for the slice of pizza, it was very good. The sauce was a little on the salty side, but still a great NY slice that would kill an freaking craving. Oh, and our server was amazing. Can't remember her name, but she was fun. read more

Ordered 2 slice of silliness pizza, does not seem like slices of pizza. More like a deep dish baked, very moist. A lot to eat, we left with 2 boxes with unfinished pizza inside. Salad was ok. Staff was overall very nice. I came on a Friday night so the place was crowded the restaurant was under staffed. The waitresses were over worked, and very stressful. But they did a very good job of keeping the restaurant going. The food is a above average. The food was good and the clams were amazing. Then ordered a salami. And provolone sandwich with just salami and provolone n Mayo heated ( for a picky kid) sandwich came cold was way to much bread and had lettuce n tomato on it no one in my house wanted to eat it. But the worse thing about everything was when we called to let them know the man who we believe was the owner told us that the meatball sausage sub came the way we had it (which this is not our first time ordering here and it didn't come like that last time) and when we brought up the other sub he said we can heat it ourselves. If I wanted to make a sub I would have done just that and not ordered from their restaurant! My never ending search for the perfect slice of pizza has led me to Angelos. I want to make it clear I decided to order for them atleast 20 times before making this review. Every single time the pizza was EXCELLENT. Keep up the good work Angelo, your Neapolitan pizza is delicious. I ordered a a large neopolitan with extra pepperoni and I will definitely be ordering many many more times. Great Italian food in Holiday, FL. Angelo and Manny do it right. Favorites are the pasta puttanesca, the garlic knots, and the antipasto. The pizza is awesome. Get a slice or a whole pie. The white pizza is definitely worth a try, and if you like New York style pie, you can't go wrong at Angelo's. Wait staff is always friendly, and the decor is nice and warm. They moved down a few doors a while back, so it's basically brand new inside. It's always clean and comfortable. It can be busy Friday and Saturday nights so plan accordingly. The restaurant is spotless & the open kitchen quite inviting. First let me remind you I believe pizza is it's own category of food & I am a total snob about it. The pie was beautiful & looked extraordinary. You know how when you pick up the box & it's heavy, you start smiling from the inside...that's the feeling you get. I got the pizza to go & eagerly took the pizza home. Once home we immediately descended on the pie. It was quite good & most people would have no complaints. Mine are minor things, that just change the pizza experience. The crust was a bit too thick. The sauce could have been more plentiful & especially more robust & flavorful. The best. Friendly, huge portions, family recipes handed down for 3 generations. Pesce de Pasta with the light sauce is incredible. Whole cloves of garlic (roasted) can be lifted out of the broth and spread on the bread. Calamari rings arer so tender, I do not know how Angelo does it.
