I was told by the Fire Department that it is a legal requirement to have a contractors license for replacement or repairs of the backflow or to work on the system. This company is tampering with fire lines and domestic water lines without the proper licensing, training , and testing . I will be reporting this company to the contractors state license board to protect other consumers. I have reported them to the Fire Department also. Consumers beware because you will not be protected by licensing and insurance even though the company misrepresents itself

During my research, I also considered installing a tankless water heater to avoid dealing with vents altogether and obtained estimates for that option.
