I arrived shortly after their posted opening time, only to find a note saying they'd be back later. When I called, I learned the piercer wouldn't arrive until 1pm due to a personal commitment. I gave grace and returned. The piercing itself was quick, with some small talk about Seattle, and I mentioned that I hadn't been pierced in 20+ years due to keloiding, so I was nervous and wanted to make sure things were done carefully. I paid, received a basic aftercare sheet, and headed home. Later that evening, the front of my flat-back earring fell out and the back was hanging loosely. I eventually managed to get the flat back post in the front just to keep the piercing from closing and I called about 8p after closing and left a message for guidance but never received a call back. A different piercer at a jewelry shop explained that flat-back earrings require a slight bend in the post for tension -- something that hadn't been done. It was an easy fix, but disappointing that it was missed, especially since piercings need weeks to heal. There's clearly a lot of history behind this business, but my experience didn't reflect the level of professionalism and follow-up I expected for a $100 service. I personally prefer to go somewhere with more consistency in both technique and aftercare communication.

I'm glad there is options besides Claire's to get your ears pierced in a more sanitary and less damaging way! The only negative was online the price states the total should be around $140-150 with the earrings and piercing. It was over $200! So a bit of a sticker shock being $50 more than expected. Parking was hard to find, there's limited street parking. I'm not sure if they have a lot behind their shop.

First the front staff jewelry consultation was so patient and kind to me. He listened to my concerns from my previous experience and gave his full attention. He made me feel calm and didn't rush me. When it came to my piercing Erin was the calmest presence. She listened and we talked about placement for a while. Never rushed me talking or my nervousness. The piercing was quick and gentle. Fast forward three weeks. I got sick and my piercing swelled and was angry. I was able to come in for troubleshooting and again the staff was incredible. Very kind and patient front staff to start. I was scared to change out the stud as my previous piercer at a different location caused so much pain I had it removed. Erin was so calm and gentle. She changed my stud out for a longer stud and it was painless. Incredible place with the kindness and most gentle staff ever!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted in a very nice way, my needs were heard and respected, and, oh my, what a selection of different jewelry they have to pick from, very impressive! Adam did my ear piercing and listened to where I wanted the new piercing and Adam double checked before we proceeded with the piercing. But what most impressed me was how he prioritized Sanitation. I think he must have changed his gloves four times after he touched every item needed for the process. He explained aftercare very well. Checkout was wonderful too, they made sure that I knew how to contact them at any time if I had any other questions or concerns after the fact. Oh, and they made sure I knew what the end cost would be even before the actual piercing so there are no surprises at checkout.
