We had one false start at a larger operation and then found DeTails Pet Grooming online. Rachel was our groomer and she did a fantastic job. Our dog has been groomed regularly over the past few years and this time was among the best. He can also be itchy after a grooming, but I didn't see him scratch himself once after we brought him home. She was prepared. My dog Emma was not. She ran. She hid. She barked. We decided to try calming meds at Lilys suggestion mand scheduled for next day. Meds say take 1/2hr prior to appt. Keeping that schedule, I had to call Lily 15min prior to say we were unable to pill Emma. By messenger later we rescheduled again for the following Monday 4/20 for 11:00. Lily ask that I let her know if we were able to medicate Emma prior. An hour before appt., I messaged Lily and let her know Emma did have calming med. However Lily did not respond. Messaged to both her business and personal contact. Messaged several times. Also ask that if she had decided not to come to please be nice enough to let me know. Still no Lily. If you are a professional owner of a business, you don't ghost your clients. I planned to pass her info on after my appt. i thought sure she was a good match. Ghosting shows immaturity. I know she may have been frustrate. So was I. However I did what she ask with the meds and we were ready and waiting for her. She should've been professional enough to cancel Or don't run a business. Not sure what happened in the truck but our happy dog is not hiding under the table fearful always. The guy who came to do the grooming seem to have beat him or scared him so much that he is scared always and is just scared of every little noise. If you touch him his first instinct is that someone is hitting him. He hasnt gotton on a bed or couch since the grooming with this person. Our dog loves couches and beds and now he is scared of heights and people. We DO NOT RECOMMEND this business or service. I forgive you guys for everything !
