Lack of communication by the lash technician. I wasted 3 hrs of my life and ended up with irritated eyes and no remedy for my experience from management.. I had a terrible experience a few weeks ago as a lash model where my eyes became irritated, red, and in pain for 2 days until I got them removed. The initial lash placement process was painful where it felt like the lash technician was pulling off my eyelash(I had 5 instances of sharp pain). I also expected classic lash extensions, so I was extremely disappointed that she had put on volume lash extensions(1 lash is connected to 3 fake lashes). My lash technician was nice but did not communicate well before doing my lashes. She did not inform me of the length of the lash extensions until I asked and never told me she was doing volume lashes. The volume lashes were very uneven(see pics) and made my right eye look much smaller than my left eye. I am monolided so volume lashes are terrible for my eyes because of the extra weight. After the appt my eyes felt heavy but okay. A few hrs later, my left eye started burning and looked bloodshot. Because the pain bothered me, I called and made an appt to get them removed the next day. The next morning both my eyes were bloodshot and irritated. This has never happened before with lash extensions. Either the products they use are lower quality or the lash technician messed up. The removal process was slightly painful but my eyes did feel much better with the volume lashes gone. Unfortunately dekalash did nothing to make up for this experience, except to offer another lash model session BUT with the same lash technician who caused my terrible experience. I'm worried about the "training" these lash technicians receive because my eyes could have been damaged further if I waited to get them removed...

I have never had eyelash extensions before and they made the process easy and smooth. I made my appointment, checked in, and then the process took around 2 hours for a full set. Fills are recommended 2 weeks after, so I have made an appointment for that as well. I wish I had taken out my contacts before (they had a note about this ahead of my appointment), but you are able to take breaks during your appointment as well for water or to use the restroom. The lash tech was very friendly and asking me if I was comfortable during the process. The lashes turned out beautifully and I would recommend Deka Lash Bull Run!
