I recommend her to everyone I know! Upon her recommendation, I got a lip tattoo from Paola. This was not my first lip tattoo, but it was far more pleasant than the other NOVA place I went to (where a touch up was more expensive than a lip tattoo with Paola). Paola reached out to me personally, scheduled a face-to-face discussion, responded to my texts asap, and gave me advice on how to reduce inflammation (that I had not received at the other place). She redesigned my lips and do a phenomenal job! it's lasted well. Do not be concerned about their location or office space. When I expressed concerns about the result, instead of addressing them professionally, the artist responded with rude and dismissive comments and even implied that the problem was with me as a client. The work presented on social media appears much better than the actual results I received, which feels misleading to potential clients. Cosmetic procedures require trust, professionalism, and respectful communication with clients. Unfortunately, my experience here did not reflect any of those standards. We looked at pictures and she suggested being more conservative on the cut and then we could adjust and make it shorter at the end if needed. After that everything went downhill. After washing and toning I was brought back the chair. My highlights are very orange and striped. No root smudge was applied which made the highlights look harsh. My stylist then turned me away from the mirror while she rough dried my hair without product then curled my hair all while I was turned away. She then proudly turned me like it was a reveal. I was so shocked I couldn't speak. My color was supposed to be a dimensional blonde but instead was a brassy reddish yellow stripes. The cut was not what we discussed at all. It was longer in the back and shorter in the front. I asked her to straighten my hair so we could discuss the length and shape. At this point her next client came in and was sat in front of her station. I felt like we were now being rushed. She again began to apply heat to my hair with no product and roughly ran the straightener through my hair making my hair look like a broom. She cut more off the back and said I was done. She put some hair product on my hair as I was leaving. I honestly was in such shock I could barely communicate my feelings. I just grabbed my things and left. This is not the place to go if you want a soft dimensional balayage or highlight. I can't believe I paid over $450 and now am frantically looking for someone to fix my hair. I've had two local stylists tell me I need a color correction. My advice is research each stylists Instagram account and choose accordingly.

My appointment was with the owner Effie who is very fashionable and has beautiful hair herself. She told me it would take multiple visits before I could achieve the blonde that I wanted which was understandable but I left the salon just hating my hair. It came out with very brassy, stripey, highlighted hair with chunks of hair that looked over processed. Also, I paid $300 for this to be done.
