Ok so first off when I showed up, I was told to come back because the shoe shiner was on lunch, cool but ok. Then I come back was denied a shoe shine because the two men were too busy shining shoes for people who dropped their shoes off rather the customers in person. Then the guy who was on break says go to the barbershop because they offer the same service there. I went to the barbershop and was told to wait another 10 minutes because he was too busy shining other people's shoes as well. So I have completely given up on the shop, I would never go back. Very Disappointed. i never thought I would ever meet an arrogant shoe shine person. I called up Angel and asked if he could shine 3 pairs of boots. He said that if he could not do all three while I was there i could leave them and pick them up another day. I drove over 30 miles and after spending an additional 30 minutes finding the place (calling him several times for directions - he is located in a clothing store ) I found him and sat down in the waiting area. To be polite I waited until he was finished with his client. There were two people in front of me so I asked if I could just leave the boots but he refused to take them. I reminded him that I had called earlier and just drove a long way and he rudely said " Too busy - No drop offs today". He then just looked away and kept on with his business. As in "don't bug me and go away'. I think he could have offered to do them and give me a date to pick them up but most of all why didn't he tell me before I left. Why did he not even hint that there would be an issue on the several calls I made when I was just trying to find him in the first place? I am sure Angel gives a nice shine. But beware. He is hard to find, the wait is long and he has an extremely bad attitude. I look at s shoe shine like I do a nice shave. It should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. He not only messed up and wasted my time but lost himself a very nice tip as well. To any potential clients all I can say is you have been warned. You deserve and, can do, better. read more

Average shoeshine with deceptive pricing. If you look at his website, he states his charges are $8 for shoes and $10 for boots. When you show up to pay, you find out he charges $12 for shoes and $15 for boots. I don't mind paying but when you advertise one rate and charge another that's deceptive. And it's cash only so be ready to run to the ATM when he charges more. I mentioned this to him and his only response is that it's "old" as n his website. So he knows he's advertising one thing and charging another. No apologies, no charging me what he advertised, nothing. Basically go eff myself. Well, I'll either find another place or do it myself.
