Angel was very quick to respond to messages on the weekend and we set an appointment for the next day. He came out to look at our roof and give an estimate for a leak that started during the big storm. Although the roof is at the end of its life, the immediate problem was a nail that had worked its way out and created a hole!? Never heard of that before, but it happened. So he went ahead and caulked it to seal it. He didn't charge us for the quick fix and we will definitely consider him when we are ready to do our whole roof. Thanks again! read more

We noticed my neighbor having his lattice patio cover converted to a hard cover. I asked the man doing the work to come see me when he got a minute free. His name was Marou I believe. He took my info for the transition of lattice to hard cover and delivered to Angel who later quoted. We reached a schedule date to start and an agreed price. I requested Marou and he came out and did the demo and hauled off all the debris. Then the reconstruct of the solid roof. He did a very nice job and I am 100% happy with my new cover. Angel the owner came out gave me a very resonable quote. wind damage blew a vent pipe off the roof and the roof on my shed was torn up. I called a few companies they wouldnt touch the shed roof. but Angels did. A worker showed up early after postponeing the job because of the rain we recently had. I highky recommend Angels roofing. I asked them to do an inspection for a leak I found in my garage after the recent heavy rains. Angel came to our house and did a thorough inspection of the roof and interior, and made an assessment of the most likely cause for the leak. He then sent us an estimate which I thought was very reasonable. We then hired them to repair the roof and do the work laid out in the estimate. The guy showed up on the scheduled date and completed the work while also informing me of progress and any questions I had were answered. I am very pleased with the work they did and would highly recommend them. Angel and his crew took on a big job doing a complete re-roof of our home in Point Loma. The old roof was super old and even had bare spots where you could see the wood underneath. So bad that it was uninsurable. I had a number of contractors come out and provide me quotes for a new roof. Some of the quotes were really high, and some questionably low. Angel was recommended to me by one of the metal roof suppliers whose product we were looking at using. There was several things stood out to me about Angels quote, his willingness to quote multiple different products, his familiarity with metal roofing products, and the professionalism of his business. A clean, clear, descriptive quote, with all the terms clearly laid out. It wasn't the cheapest quote we received, but he was very competitively priced, and wasn't a fly-by-night contractor that will disappear when the job is done. Our roof was special order since we went with a Spanish looking asphalt coated metal shingle. As soon as the product was ready, Angel had the project start. It was quite the process, since the product was more time consuming to lay down, but from the roofing removal to the lay down of the new product they were very good at cleaning up every day, and trying to be as minimally invasive as possible. I'm pretty picky about how things look and the quality of work, and Angel's guys were very accommodating to every request without any pushback, they went so far as to fabricate some custom pieces to ensure the end product looked great. All in all the end product looked fantastic and has made the house look so much better. Additionally, my homeowners insurance sent a inspector out before they insure the roof, and he had minimal to no comments on the job, which gives us major piece of mind. My house is a mish-mash of different construction done in a few different decades, making the roof system particularly complicated. Some is shingle, some is "flat", and the transitions between them are very odd. Angel did a fairly thorough inspection of the "flat" roof and gave me a quote for only that part, because that's all I asked for. Other companies included bids to replace the entire roof, which I thought might be overselling. But upon closer inspection I decided to replace the entire roof. Angel came out AGAIN and gave me a new quote very quickly. This was all during the rainy season and several places inside my home were getting wet. The crew worked only on clear days and got the whole roof done quickly. But the rains continued and so did the leaks. Angel and his foreman came back and did repairs 3 more times before the leaks stopped. Angel did not disclose to me prior to the job that he would be hiring a third party to remove and replace the solar panels. I only knew about that after the panels had been removed. That's when Angel called me and tried to increase the contract price because of the third party's price going up. I held firm to the contract as written. That crew did a good job re-installing the panels, but it was done about 2 weeks later than promised. read more

Update: my hubris got me, and our ceiling started leaking again after Angel had come out the first time. He was able to come out again and give us a very fair quote to fix that portion of the roof. The guy that came out to do the roof fix was quick and efficient as well. We'll know for sure if it holds when it rains again, but I'm more than happy with the fair price and the fact that they were able to accommodate us when I'm sure they were busy from the recent rains wreaking havok around the county. Really disappointed with this company. Angel came out for roofing quote, he sent a drone to take pictures of the roof and stated that he would send me the quote to my email. A few days passed and no quote so I called his mobile phone and no answer so then I sent a text. No response to the text. I then called the office and spoke with Jessica and asked for the quote. She said they would send over. It has been over a week and no quote. Waste of time for all of us. After reviewing past reviews on this company it shows they have a track record of doing this. I decided to replace the underlayment on my home which is 27 years old, because I was getting Solar installed and did not want to have any leak issues after the solar was completed. I contacted 4 different roofing companies of which I found 3 overpriced with one trying to oversell what I needed. I finally contacted Angel's Roofing. Angel showed up promptly and we went over the project. He was knowledgeable and professional. He gave me a quote I felt was fair. We scheduled the installation and his crew showed up right on time. They did a great job. They used upgraded underlayment material and replaced all of my bulky vents with low profile vents, which I was not expecting. After the job was complete, I noticed we had a relatively minor issue with the valleys that I thought should be fixed. I contacted Angel and he promptly schedule a time to send a couple of his guys to come out and resolve the issue. Now this was after I had paid in full, which I know sometimes it can be a problem getting something resolved with a contractor who has been fully paid. Not the case here. It could have been a problem because the next week the Solar was scheduled to be installed. Needless to say Angel stepped up and did some juggling to get his men out to help me avoid a potential problem with the Solar phase of the project.
