I've been using Ascension Home Services for several years for my multi-level condo, and they continue to deliver the best window cleaning and pressure washing service I've found. This most recent visit was another excellent experience. Eric arrived exactly on time, came prepared, and worked with impressive care from start to finish. He cleaned my windows and screens thoroughly and then pressure washed my balcony and garage. His work was meticulous--he took the time to do the details the right way and protected my floors and surrounding work areas throughout the job. Everything looked noticeably cleaner and refreshed when he finished. What I also appreciate about Ascension is their integrity and customer-first approach. It rained within a day of the window cleaning, and Ascension proactively rescheduled to re-clean the windows that were affected. We had Ascension clean our windows last December. I took time to explain to the cleaner that we had a security alarm system and he needed to be careful with our window screens in both cleaning them and in being sure they are put back on the same windows. I showed him that the alarm worked before he started. When he was finished, I went to turn our alarm on and it would not set. His attitude was "so what?" and left. I had to pay to have our security company make a visit and find why the system would not set. Sure enough, they identified several window screens that had been trashed from the cleaning. I reported this to Ascension and asked for a refund or credit since they cost me more in damages than I had paid them. They didn't care and didn't refund me anything. I will never use this company again and you should consider not using them either! Erik did a very good job; was on time and pleasant to deal with. 5 stars there. 1 star however for their practice of charging a 'convenience fee' (the irony) for using a credit card fee to pay. Nickel & diming at its worst. It is part of the cost of doing business. Build it into your pricing just like you build in wages, workers comp, gas, equipment and so on. read more

Taylor was out within two days of the phone call and did an excellent job. He was on time, cleaned up everything after clearing out all of the gutters on my home. Punctual, polite and professional. Sol and Tony did an amazing job going above and beyond by helping me move the furniture that I forgot to move and all the cushions (it's a big job)! Additionally, they took my weathered 10 year old Spanish tile roof and made it look brand new. Sol showed me pictures beforehand and found some broke tiles that they fixed. My gutters had created a big streak of mildew and black stuff running down the side of my house. It's gone now With the way insurance companies are today here in California, I'm glad I can confidently tell them that my roof and gutters are clean and low risk for fire season. A couple of weeks ago, my neighbor was getting their roof and walkways power-washed by Ascension Home Services. As their job was wrapping up, I walked over and spoke with Ascension employee, Sol, to ask it it was possible to clean the embedded dirt, grime and rust stains from the driveway (including tire marks), walkways and patio of my own home. After all, he did a fantastic job with my neighbor's house. Sol took a look around my house and assured me that it wouldn't be a problem getting it all nice and clean. This morning was my appointment, and it was great to see that Sol was assigned to the job. He's the consummate professional - showed up on time, communicates well, is friendly, and his work is thorough. I was so amazed how clean everything turned out. We called Ascension to hang Christmas lights on our tall two story house in Scripps Ranch. We can hang and place lights throughout our yard and windows but the roof gets very dangerous. The company came out quickly to give an estimate. They use their own lights, their own clips and their own cords. They take care of installation, hooking it up, maintenance if needed and removal in January. It's a one stop shop for hanging lights. They are also insured and very professional. The installers came out in one day and got the job done in less than an hour. They used custom professional grade wiring and LED lights in both multicolor or warm white. Although I originally wanted multicolor, the warm white LED lights gave it a good contrast multicolor windows/walls and it made roof line pop more. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. We hired Ascension to do window washing on the inside and out, replace two torn screens, and roof, solar panel, and gutter cleaning. Wes came out to our house and give us a quote in person and explained their services. We had initially considered hiring them for just gutter cleaning and window washing, but after Wes pointed out the amount of moss and mold on our roof we decided to have that cleaned as well. We can't say enough good things about the work that Sol and Tony did on our house! Our windows haven't been this clean probably since this house was built, and the roof looks amazing. Cleaning French Pane windows is a French Pain in the (bleep) because every pane must be cleaned individually as opposed to the satisfying single continuous squeegee swipe that can be used on virtually every other window.
