The store itself is not very big but it's packed from top to bottom with lots of lovely stones, jewelry, cards and artists items to take home. The space is used very well and items are displayed for you to look over, maybe Smell or even touch. There was not someone present to do a reading when we arrived but they do have a website where you can reserve a time or they do have a up-and-coming Black Friday deal for the holiday that provides reading a discount. They were very friendly and accept credit cards. I'm definitely planning on coming back for a reading.

This inclusive store aims to be a space where people of all backgrounds can come and see themselves represented, with lots of LGBTQ+ themed items. Many items are locally made and the owner, Sarah, is wonderful. I browsed books, stickers, keychains, crystals, jewelry, bath items, decor, wood pieces, snacks, cards, and more! I really think you could find something for everyone here. In addition to all the wonderful products, you can also have a tarot reading done or get a henna tattoo at the shop! I'm looking forward to having a reading done in the future and would love to gift this experience to a friend. From my understanding they brought in their own food, drinks and decorated. The tables , and chairs were provided by the establishment. Curious, I drove across the street and parked conveniently at the store. I ventured inside, and I'm so glad I did. The owner was welcoming and very knowledgeable. Each item in her store has a purpose, reuse, a thoughtful connection to Mother Earth, or something novel (e.g., I was loving the Janis Joplin poster). The store was filled with unique finds, some even creatively made by the owner herself. She had a great collection of rocks and crystals as well. Local Catholic stores The Angelus across from St Isidore Catholic Church on Diamond Avenue , and the Catholic store (Bishop Baraga) on Division St next to St Andrew's Cathedral have larger selections. All 3 are nice places. Giving 3 stars here because when I was shopping here today, I asked a question about an item and the only person working said, "I don't know what that means. I'm not Catholic." (?!). Out of curiosity I asked what led her to want to work in a Catholic store. She said she more works for the uniform company and she goes where God leads her to share HER (Protestant) faith. I browsed for a few minutes and when I went to check out, she started saying something nonsensical - and not asked about- saying Jesus IS the Holy Spirit. I thought maybe she was just confused, but she kept rolling saying something about, "The Bible says (yada yada yada)." I took the high road and just said something about Jesus and the Holy Spirit are together in the one Holy Trinity and left. Note to store owner: since I was informed today one of you is retiring and the uniform company is going to take over their portion of the business, you might want to avoid Protestants working in your store and spewing Protestant beliefs. Huge turnoff, not sure I'll ever come back, and my parish is one of your major uniform customers, BTW.

The shop is bright and airy and stocked with so many wonderful local and handmade items. They also have a great children's section with books and toys. I loved the soft felt garland decor, gift basket ideas on display, and the beautiful jewelry. I got a cute onesie and a new perpetual calendar by a local artist. They also had chocolate and some kitchen/houseware items. I even saw a cooler of locally made freezer meals, which is something I'd never come across in a shop like this before. My friend brought her kids with her and she got a free children's book with her purchase! This was such a cute and fun surprise. We also got our items gift wrapped for free, which is always a nice touch. Prices seemed very fair for the quality of products. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot behind the building, but there is no back entrance to the store, you have to go around to the front to get in. My favorite gifts to give for baby showers are those indestructible books that you can wash with water! They seem to be pretty popular and Hopscotch usually has several different titles from that series. The last time I visited in September 2021, the inventory had expanded quite a bit since I was in the previous year. They have lots of toys, games, apparel, bath and body products, and accessories for younger kids (newborn to about 5 I would say). I didn't notice many options for big kids (12+). I did notice that there are a lot of items in the store that I've never seen before, but I also don't regularly shop at other children's stores. I like that they stock locally made and sustainable items. I also like that you can shop on their website and pick up at the store! They offer curbside pickup, which is great for those not wanting to or unable to go inside. If you're buying a gift, they will bag it up with a cute flower and tag which is so helpful, especially when I sometimes am purchasing a gift on my way to the baby shower, ha!

I've popped in there a few times needing a birthday present and can always find something. Snarky cards, interesting glassware/home decor, cute notebooks and office supplies. A great place to try if you need a hostess, bachelorette, or birthday gift for a girlfriend in your life but don't quite have an idea yet. The store isn't huge, but it uses all of its space efficiently so there is always a good selection of items. The owner is very pleasant and cheerful, happy to help if I need it or let me browse if I don't. They offer gift wrapping, as well, which is always nice if I'm in a rush. I don't have kids (or many little ones to buy for) so their selection of kids' clothing and toys is lost on me. But for the many EGR moms out there, I highly recommend checking this out!
