Bimini was NOT secured prior to driving the boat across the lake (loose & bouncing, stressing the power top mechanism) and cover was not strapped on properly at the lift allowing rain water to pool in the cover. Boat still had leaves & sand from the fall when it was picked up for storage! Frankly, it appears a LOT has changed in the last 1-2 years...and not for the better.

Checked with our local GS dealer in the Sacramento, CA, area and was cited a purchase price. The dealership wouldn't negotiate and literally laughed at our offer, which was reasonable, based on my knowledge of the markup on these units (which I had determined during my research). I was directed by other GS owners to TONY'S RVs and called Tony. Told him what I wanted and he called me back 15 minutes later with a price $9,000 below what our local dealer had quoted. Because we were coming from "out of the area" Tony insisted we spend the night on his lot in the trailer (with full hookups).to make sure everything was okay. I am glad I discovered Tony's in Bryan, Ohio. They had a good selection of the Vintage models we liked best. The were very easy to work with, took care of the details and when I "lost" a hubcap on the way home (they sent me a new one) ! There was also a small glitch with the furnace - Tom found a place in Phoenix area to look at it and make the minor repair. I had to pay $67 but Tony told me to send him the receipt and he would reimburse me ! These guys (and gals) are STAND UP people. I would not hesitate to recommend them or if anyone wants to contact me - I'd be more than happy to answer any questions anyone has about buying a trailer in a different state than where you live.

Their estimate was $3,000 more than Todd's. The work done by Todd was excellent and done in the time frame he promised. He also did some touch up work at know additional charge, because the insurance check was $40 more than is quote. He even stayed after hours so I could pick up my ca r.

Among them are: boat ramp, dockside gasoline, winter storage for boats and boat lifts, lift delivery and installation, Nautique dealer, Kawasaki Jet-ski dealer, pontoon boats, dock and boating hardware, skis and wakeboards and their necessary hardware, life jackets, tow-able floats, Clear Lake shirts and hats, the Seaweed Café(snacks and hot dogs, etc. from what I can tell, I've never actually eaten there). My father's been coming to Clear Lake since he was in college, renting, then finally became an owner about 15 years ago. So I've been coming here my entire life. (kinda wish Yelp had a location for the lake itself, I could go on and on). But my dad's had some times he's needed more attention from the Marina (a problem jet-ski), and he got it. The people there know their customers and greet them as friends with first names. Personalized service is a dying art these days, and I'm glad to see that it still matters to the CLM. They don't have high-pressure sales people, just knowledgeable and laid back, casual sales atmosphere. We could have a much worse marina on this lake. Every time I visit CL, I always make it a point to stop by the CLM. It just feels good. And we usually end up buying something. Yesterday, went for a t-shirt, ended up with another jet-ski!

Went to Angola Collision Tues. Trying to keep my car going for another year or so....door handle…read moremessed up and it wouldn't close. So it was being held shut with a strap from the inside. Very brief wait and it was my turn. The guy at the desk got up and said let me take a quick look at it. He did and 5 minutes later he was back and said...you're good to go.
