    Banana spilt latte
    Devon G.

best jelly donut EVER !!! This is my go to donut and it was amazing and I didn't get a crazy sugar rush after (I usually am not a donut fan because I just don't feel good after eating one!) I am also a firm believer of always getting anything banana flavored when it's on the menu and MAN this drink tasted just like a split! Wasn't too sweet and had great flavor. The apple cider donut just tastes like cinnamon sugar so it was disappointing, because no apple taste, maybe some small apple bites would help? Great patio sitting with a view of fountains and a playground to watch all the doggo!

    * Very friendly staff! * Large latte was... LARGE! * tried the apple cider & raspberry jelly donut -- apple cider was good & the raspberry jelly was super filled, but very plain/artificial jelly * wish I tried the dark chocolate sea salt, but took a recommendation from the barista for the jelly when mentioned I was torn between the two!

God I love this place. I exclusively have gotten their old fashioned donuts so can't speak to the others, but I can confirm that they know what they are doing when it comes to glazed old fashioned donuts. Delicious! I always grab one when I am bopping around Newburyport

We love Angry! Their breakfast sandwiches and donuts are delicious. Love their iced lattes as well. Staff is incredibly nice. Just a wonderful place!

This has become a regular haunt of ours, it makes for the perfect weekend treat! The toasted coconut doughnut is my favorite, but all of them are good, honestly. They're made of brioche, so they're fluffy and airy, and it doesn't feel like you've eaten a ton of bricks like some doughnuts. Also the breakfast sandwich is bomb! Hits the spot like nothing else. The location is perfect if you have kids because they can frolic around the playground

I'd tried them once before with similar "meh" results, but figured it was a fluke. Flash forward to 2022, another try, Maple Glazed donut, and it's very similar: dense and stiff, with the inner texture similar to an aging hamburger bun or Hostess packaged donut, only bigger. And dry. The glaze tasted of maple but more of just sugar and chemicals. Was it better than Dunkin'? Sure, but not by enough that I can agree with all the five star reviews flying around--save those for the likes of Union Square in their prime, or Kane's, or PVD in Providence, or Holy Donut in Portland. Perfectly "okay" donuts here, I guess, and perfectly fine space. Just nothing exceptional. Bonus points for cozy seating inside and outside along a central outdoor mall area with a brick walkway. You order over the counter and they call your name when it's ready.

Stopped by angry donut this lunchtime to check it out! Beautiful location, awesome food and some kick-a** donuts! I placed an online order because I was with my pup so I didn't have the opportunity to pop in the store but the outside was just as nice! The staff was kind enough to bring my order out for me while I was with my pup so thank you for that! I got maple bacon, fruity pebbles and chocolate cake vanilla glaze and an iced coffee. I'll definitely be back!

Delicious! Enjoyed the shop, it was cute. Staff was friendly. Donut choices were great and the one I had tasted good.

We are so glad we popped in and gave it a go. Parking is decent, but on street and not plentiful. We were lucky to snag a spot right out front. This spot isn't wheelchair accessible and can only be entered via stairs. The inside is absolutely stunning! There are beautiful lights strung everywhere and children's artwork hung all over one of their walls. There is no seating inside, however there are a couple of benches outside, along with a Little Free Library and a water bowl for pups. The drinks and food are delightful! We both got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. I loved that we could choose between cheddar or American cheese for the breakfast sandwich and that they actually cook their bacon pretty well (not flimsy and translucent like some places). My husband got a mocha latte which wad delicious and I got a hot chocolate which was flavorful and pleasantly unique tasting from other places. Lastly, we grabbed a few baked goods: A Nutella Swirl Tea Cake, a Brownie Cookie, and a Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie. The tea cake was very flavorful and both the cookies blew us away! It's hard to find brownie cookies or chocolate chip cookies with brown butter these days, so we were excited to see them offered here. Overall the experience here was wonderful and even though the line was out the door, we were in and out in under 10 minutes! There are plenty of beautiful spots closeby to enjoy your drinks and treats, which is a plus. We will definitely be back to try more of the offerings, especially the themed sugar cookies they offer.

I didn't see any so I asked the young woman near the bread section. She couldn't speak English and just pointed at the bread and began giggling, as did the other worker next to her. I asked again and asked if there was anybody that spoke English. She called over a guy who apparently didn't speak English either. I asked him and he did the same - pointed at the bread, while the two girls giggled. There was no Anadama bread and apparently no English. This is poor customer service. If you're going to hire workers who can't speak English, they shouldn't be dealing with customers. It's very frustrating trying to communicate with people that can't understand and act disrespectfully to customers. I emailed the business to express my disappointment and frustration with my experience but have heard nothing back which is a further disappointment. Update: After another attempt at contacting them, this time via FACEBOOK, I heard back immediately and was taken seriously and assured it would be dealt with. She explained that those workers are bakers and aren't required to speak fluent English but will still talk with them about what happened.

** Burger and Donut Review **…read more Outstanding space with a rustic modern look, a 4-sided bar, balanced seating (booths, tables, high-tops), an outdoor patio, and a private room. My wife and I had the pleasure of sitting in seats more akin to living room furniture-- that's a good thing. Also good was the breeze that blew in from the deck on a hot day. -- Blackened Cod Sandwich: This was my wife's lunch and it looked very good, with a brioche bun, and no shortage of condiments. Most importantly, the tall portion of fish was very moist and very well seasoned. My small taste didn't have the classic "blackened" vibe, but it was very good. A mini basket of fries provided plenty. Probably frozen, but good quality and a good balance between crisp and droopy. -- Dry Aged Burger: As a burger aficionado, that's what I came for, and a dry aged one-- a rarity around Boston, sadly-- gets my attention immediately. This one, ordered medium rare, brought a decent crust and decent moistness inside, though both could be more pronounced. It was probably closer to medium than medium rare, and the brioche bun was a white bready under the dome, but it worked. The dry aged flavor came through immediately. Good supporting cast among the sauces and vegetation, and same fry basket treatment as on my wife's plate. Overall, good instead of the hoped-for great. -- Donuts: We came at brunch, so this was a nice option for us to treat as a dessert. My opening came when I saw another server walk by with a plate and I asked her upon returning, "What was that plate of meatball-looking things?" She said those were the apple cider donut bites, and proceeded to gush that they were her favorite thing on the menu and a don't-miss item. This prevented me from having to twist my wife's arm, so it was a done deal. The "bites" were fairly large, closer to baseball size than golfball size, with a nice thick outer crunch yielding to a very warm, still-moist-but-fully-cooked interior. Delicious cinnamon flavor on the outside, natural donut dough flavor inside, and kicked up by a thin, cinnamon-maple sauce underneath and a whipped cream (they called it and vanilla anglaise) on the sides. Fantastic, and in an era when "artisan" donuts run $5 apiece even out of a fridge, getting six warm ones of higher quality for $12 was a steal. The burger was closer to good than great, but overall a good meal, good service, great space, and surprisingly good value (on all three items). I'd be interested to try them for dinner.

As to be expected in a store like this some of the stuff is crap but other stuff is pretty nice. Nothing really nice but sometimes pretty nice is nice enough. Inside is crowded and chaotic. Always seems a lot of people in here and it's difficult to move around. Takes a bit of patience but it's not too bad. It tends to over flow with stuff so they put some of it out in front on the sidewalk. Gives it a pleasantly tacky look. One of the things they really advertise are the 25 cent hot dogs. I would never get the courage to actually try one and I suspect they aren't exactly the highest quality but just seeing the price is kind of cool. The prices inside on most of the stuff inside is dirt cheap. I got some six buck T-shirts that didn't even shrink five sizes when I washed them. This place is exactly what it seems. It is an anachronism that manages to survive in a rather expensive and ritzy town like Newburyport just be being itself. The staff have always been pleasant and helpful even in middle of all the crazy activity that is going on. It's a cheap place that has lots of cheap but decent stuff. All kinds of weird and quirky things and always messy. Just the type of place that I enjoy
