Quick service and helpful staff! I ordered matcha with lavender and raspberry mix ins, and did not taste the mix ins unfortunately. Probably my mistake for ordering it without ice, but I know for next time! The seats in the back are cozy but the bench is shallow for long-term sitting.

Did they change their name? Plume Cafe? Or is that a completely new business. Either way it's a cute cafe. They had a some "spring drinks" and I went with the Matcha Lemonade, but definitely wish I got something else. I feel like the match wasn't strong enough, all I tasted was the lemonade. The price was good though, less than $5 for a large (I believe 32oz). I'd probably still come try the other spring drinks if I'm in the area.

I spent the day exploring Newburyport with some friends. We stopped by this cute cafe, located right near downtown for breakfast. All three of us got the gingerbread latte. We liked that the cafe offered unique lattes. It was frothy and sweet, but not too sweet, with nice warmth from the spices. I would get it again! For breakfast I had the gluten free banana bread. It tasted nice but the texture wasn't my favorite, a little too doughy for me. Gluten free baked goods are hard to get right, and I appreciated that this place sold a variety of gluten free baked goods. The cafe was festively decorated for the holidays with cute wreaths and lights and had cozy seating options. Recommend stopping by!

I was taking a stroll in Newburyport before work and stumbled upon this coffee shop. It is dog-friendly. I love a good dog-friendly shop. I am not from here but my experience was amazing! I wasn't sure what to get and went with the banana boat. It was delicious!!! I could taste the peanut butter. The flavors are there and not overpowering. The service is great. They are very friendly and helpful. Also, it is a local spot. The workers know your order. Which I find cool. I am not from here so it was nice to see. I would go here again when I come back to the office in Massachusetts

Cozy little coffee shop. Fun collection of lattes and coffee flavors. Small sitting area but 5 stars for just a quick grab and go for coffee

Great coffee but inside is a bit crammed so waiting in line feels like you are in the way. I really enjoy the variety of flavors.

Needed to kill an hour so was recommended to come here for a great baked goods…read more She also told me that the coffee was just OK or not great, so, I opted for iced chai latte and it was great. Bringing a few big goods home and the reviews were great. Chocolate chip cookies were chewy and crunchy and perfect. I would definitely drive by here again and highly recommended.

My husband and I were looking for a new coffee shop to try and stumbled across Olive's Coffee and…read moreBakehouse. We have driven past this area many times and never noticed it before. We are so glad we popped in and gave it a go. Parking is decent, but on street and not plentiful. We were lucky to snag a spot right out front. This spot isn't wheelchair accessible and can only be entered via stairs. The inside is absolutely stunning! There are beautiful lights strung everywhere and children's artwork hung all over one of their walls. There is no seating inside, however there are a couple of benches outside, along with a Little Free Library and a water bowl for pups. The drinks and food are delightful! We both got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. I loved that we could choose between cheddar or American cheese for the breakfast sandwich and that they actually cook their bacon pretty well (not flimsy and translucent like some places). My husband got a mocha latte which wad delicious and I got a hot chocolate which was flavorful and pleasantly unique tasting from other places. Lastly, we grabbed a few baked goods: A Nutella Swirl Tea Cake, a Brownie Cookie, and a Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie. The tea cake was very flavorful and both the cookies blew us away! It's hard to find brownie cookies or chocolate chip cookies with brown butter these days, so we were excited to see them offered here. Overall the experience here was wonderful and even though the line was out the door, we were in and out in under 10 minutes! There are plenty of beautiful spots closeby to enjoy your drinks and treats, which is a plus. We will definitely be back to try more of the offerings, especially the themed sugar cookies they offer.

The employees from the hotel are supposed to serve the food which is only catered by one choice caterer. Sweet peas, bakery. All the baked foods that we ordered, including the cake was delicious The service however at the Garrison serving the food purchased at the sweet pea bakery for the tea lounge was not worth the cost. Before the event and during guests from the hotel thought it was a free breakfast brunch and we're coming in taking glasses to serve themselves. Hotel employees did not say anything I had to say something. They should have a signed private event. 10 minutes later, the same thing happened with other uninvited guests from the hotel. 15 minutes into the function the urn for hot water for the tea was still coming out cold (you would think something called the tea room )would be able to have tea when the event starts? I knew the exact time because the party guest came up to me and told me it was still coming out cold and I looked at my watch. I do not think you should have to wait until 15 minutes into an event to start having the tea. It is a short event and expensive event. Everything should be ready at 11 not 11:15 the servers were supposed to replenish the multiple salads and fruit (I shouldn't have had to police it) when I saw it was down to the bottom I looked for the girl (she wasn't around)then I looked in the room to do it myself but I couldn't find where she had the extra two bowls of salad I purchased. I had to go to the front lobby of the hotel to see if I could find the girl. The woman behind the hotel lobby desk which I thought worked there because that's where she sat the whole time she told me that she must've went to the bathroom. I told her I have been waiting for her to come back for 15 minutes to refill the salad. She told me she would do it. I didn't even think she was part of the event. I thought she worked at the hotel because she was sitting behind the desk but I guess she's the manager. The bowl was not filled for 15 minutes. The event was almost over and I had a lot of extra food because it was not replenished as it should've been. The gratuity tip is automatically decided for you even if they didn't do their job the way it should've been done. I felt like I had to do a lot of the event myself as far as going back-and-forth to notify them not to even mention that people from the hotel were coming in thinking it was a free breakfast. Although it was beautiful and the bride enjoyed herself, I was disappointed in the final outcome. I did try to call the hotel several times that night after the event I did not want to do it in front of the bride. I finally got a hold of someone on Thursday and she denied all of it I had people with me that can confirm everything. Good luck if you book this place.
