The donuts are to die for and the people are so nice! I always get the chocolate glazed donut, and I try the other flavors as well. I've not had a bad one yet! The chocolate glazed is the perfect mix of crispy bits and tender crumb. The mild bitterness of the chocolate is offset wonderfully by the sugar glaze. One of the last real doughnuts around !!! Been 3 times ,ate 2 doughnuts each visit. Brought home 3 doughnuts after each visit . The lemon filled coconut covered honey dippeded is spectacular and my favorite. One confession... I ate one of the doughnuts that was brought home each time. I was finally able to get to Somebody's Place to get my hands on their donuts. They made super cute heart shaped donuts for Valentine's Day that I didn't get a chance to grab. The long anticipated wait to try these donuts was completely worth it. Their hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 2pm. They know what they're doing. When your product is this good, you can make whatever hours you want. You build up the hype this way. You can't make these available on the weekends. I would be a regular here. I was able to bring the kids along with me and they were just as excited as I was to walk through the door. The inside of the place was cute with several tables to eat. They must have known we were coming as they had a high chair placed in front of the donut case for my littlest who climbed that thing with ease. My eldest in predictable fashion picked the chocolate frosted and my youngest nabbed the last strawberry frosted from the case. For the husband and myself I picked an apple cider, apple fritter, honey dipped lemon, and the fried dough, as recommended by the staff (amazing choice by the way!!). The woman at the counter was super nice and helpful. I ordered a hot coffee and even that was delicious! Instead of the kids asking, "Are we there yet?", every minute of the drive I was asking the kids, "Can I eat my donuts in the car?". I maintained composure and waited. Each donut tasted flavorful, soft, yet perfectly slightly crispy on the outside. I think my favorite of the bunch was the fried dough because it was so light and fluffy. I make far drives for good food, especially donuts, and this rivals some of the best donuts I've had. It's tough since this place is actually pretty close to me. From start to finish, just an enjoyable trip. I will be back to try other things. I had tunnel vision. They have a whole menu, but they had me at donuts. read more

The BEST donuts ANYWHERE!! They were out of Apple Cider donuts (which we can't get find anywhere in WA) and they heard we were flying home so they MADE one for us ON THE SPOT!!! My son just brought home fresh, still warm donuts and malasada, which is a lemony flavored fried dough. The price seemed a bit steep, but they are homemade and a decent size. No comparison to the standard donut chain that doesn't take the "time to make the donuts" anymore (if you're over a certain age you'll know what I mean). I've only ever had the cheesesteak here and it's all I'll ever need. I just came back from a trip to Philly and this place blows the 2 places I went to there out of the water. You can taste and feel the real ribeye in the sandwich and it is huge! Only downside is going back to work after instead of taking a nice nap. read more

I need to rerate this place - I'm giving it a solid 4.5 stars. I stopped in this morning because it's Friday and #donuts. I had read that this place (Somebody's Place, actually) had amazing donuts. Not that I'm a connoisseur but I like what I like. I ended up only getting a half dozen and I'll say they were very good. Unique flavors without being overpriced. They tasted fresh (didn't crumble so to me, shows they have been made recently). The woman behind the counter was friendly and even helped me pick a few out. I noticed that they had breakfasts for what seemed like reasonable prices and I'll be sure to try something soon. If you're looking for fresh donuts, with plenty of parking (I hate places where parking becomes stressful), give Somebody's Place a try. read more

Went in for a sandwich which they don't make anymore I ended up getting an egg and cheese with bacon bagel. It was 4.25 and it said it included cheese but I was charged another 1.25 for cheese and 4.00 for 3 pieces of bacon. I also saw it was 2 large eggs not. Way too over priced. We had brunch here a few days ago. The owner and the person at the counter were both friendly and patient. We enjoyed the breakfast wrap with rib eye. It was fresh and hot which was perfect. I pass this place daily and decided to get a lunch to go based on the reviews. Ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. The owner informed me that it was on a burger bun vs. a sub and I was ok with that. It was small indeed for the price ($6.95) and to my shock, the chicken tenders were almost burnt, there was hardly any hot sauce and it was just awful in taste. Stopped by based on seeing that they opened on Facebook and also recommendation from a friend that I "must try" their donuts. Picked up a malasada doughnut (their specialty) and a cinnamon sugar doughnut along with an iced coffee (total around $7). The young man who served took me order was very patient and friendly as I salivated over the warm case displaying the donuts. The owner was also there and greeted me with a very warm, welcoming hello and smile. The malasada donut made it to the car but not without a bite before arriving at my next destination. I saved half for a friend to try and she thought it was fabulous too. A crisp layer on the outside dusted with sugar, light and fluffy on the inside with a distinct flavor which we could not pinpoint (almond??) but loved! Not too sweet either and warm! I saved the cinnamon sugar for another friend who thought it was terrific but I'm sure it would have been better warm! The iced coffee was also to my liking, not too strong! I'll be back and look forward to trying lunch...and a donut, of course! Friendly customer service, great product, reasonable prices and accuracy will always earn stars from me! read more
