I had an absolutely fantastic experience at a great value with Angry Ducks! I booked with them one week prior to my move, but had to reschedule my mover time the night before the move from the morning 10am to the afternoon around 2pm as I needed more time to pack. They were very accommodating and let me change the time. It turned out that I had to move at 2pm because my 20 ft U-Haul was not on site for 10am pickup and it took 3 hours for me to wait for the U-Haul booking transfer and drive to pick up my truck at the closest U-Haul site 30 miles away. I finally arrived at home around 1:45 pm and the Angry Ducks were already there ready to move! Due to the truck rebooking, I didn't have enough time to finish taking down my furniture and packing my items, and the Angry ducks kindly jumped in and unscrewed my furniture for pack up and load. We finished within my allotted time and I was overjoyed at the professional service neatly packing all of my items in the 20ft U-Haul truck with room to spare! read more

We used them twice in one week. Tipped $100 each for four hours of work. Hired a third time the following week for my mother in law. They committed to us repeatedly then changed time to four hours later than planned. Ok...confirmed twice the day prior and one more time the morning of. All good. They were no shows. Cost us a lot of money to keep two 26 ft trucks for another day. Lost time and had to rearrange our schedules and hire new movers for another day. Do not recommend. Sad because they started out strong but ghosting is not a good business model. read more

We needed furniture removed from two bedrooms so we could have them painted. We called U-Haul who booked the fellows at Angry Ducks for the move. Two men arrived exactly on time (something rare for Tennesseee in our experiences) and went to work. They were courteous and took care of our furniture as if it was their own. In fact. We've already booked them to move the furniture back into the house. You can call directly for service and they will promptly respond. We had to have a 52' trailer unloaded containing two families homes into two 10x20 storage units. I wasn't sure it could be done but Angry Ducks made it happen and all within a couple of hours. They showed up on time and we're polite and accommodating even through the truck driver we hired (not affiliated with angry ducks) would not leave them alone and was rude the owner. I hired Angry Duck through Uhaul moving help. My ubox arrived early from out of state, so Jamie squeezed me in early the next day! I was really thankful as it was a week before Christmas, and my belongings had already been delayed due to covid. I think 4 guys arrived, and they quickly and efficiently moved my belongings up to the 3rd floor. They were in and out in maybe 30 min, and zero damage to my furniture. You will have delays in getting a call back. Just keep calling, or call early morning or evening. The owner also is doing the moving, so they can't always respond right away. read more

I tried to hire Angry Ducks at the recommendation of my boss whenever I bought my house in 2019, however despite many calls, texts other attempts to confirm a moving day I could never get a response. I am moving again and now both bosses and a coworker have recommended I use this company, but I still can't get a response after booking here on Facebook, messaging asking for confirmation (they opened the message and did not respond), I called and texted but nothing. I don't understand why I can't get just a simple response from this company. Especially after so many people I know have recommended them to me. It feels so personal that I can't get a response when I've literally never spoken to them to begin with. read more

I am very disappointed in my experience with Angry Ducks. My leather chair was damaged because the movers placed a cement table on top of it. After 2 months, they finally agreed to cover half of the value of the chair and said they would mail me a check. I have never received a check and am stuck with a chair with a hole in it. They also will not return my calls, emails or texts. I am most disappointed by the poor customer service and avoidance. read more

Angry Customer 6/28/14 Wow....I should have read the reviews first! This moving company is on a roll! I scheduled/confirmed a move for relocation from Knoxville. I spoke with Jamie the day of the move, in fact 2 hours before appointment time. I picked up my UHaul and waited. He never showed up and never returned any of my phone calls. It was a disaster. My Uhaul sat empty all day and I had to scramble to find another moving team that would work on a Sunday. Play at your own risk but consider yourself warned! read more

He said he would get back with me but I never heard back from him, despite multiple attempts to reach him to find out what was going on. My husband talked to the owner three weeks before our move. Over the phone, the owner confirmed that we were on the books, and even suggested that we double-check with Uhaul a couple days before our move, to make sure our truck order did not get messed up. Moving day arrived. We woke at 6 am, and we made sure everything was packed for their scheduled arrival at 9 am. No one showed up. We called numerous times and left voice mails over the next hour on a voicemail account that stated it was for Angry Ducks. I also texted at the number provided. NO RESPONSE. Not even an "oops we messed up the order." Nothing. When you think of booking these people, think of yourself standing in your driveway on the verge of tears because you cannot get moved on time. We were lucky that family and friends saved us from this completely unprofessional and inconsiderate operation. read more

What wonderful and affordable service Angry Ducks provided for my move! They did a great job packing as much as possible into the truck (serious tetris skills!), and they were careful with my valuables the entire time. We did get started a little later than planned, but with moves that is normal and it allowed us a chance to pack a few more things in our apartment and get everything settled with the truck. The guys were very professional and helpful and I am SO glad that I booked them. I will use Jamie and his team again next time I move in Knoxville! You have to go in with a little flexibility in your mind as moves can be tricky things, but Jamie brought extra hands to make the work go faster and was in constant communication with me over text about any delays and adjustments to the plan. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat! If only I could pay them to unpack all my boxes at my house! read more
