I've been coming here for over 7 years now with my first pet chihuahua & now with my American bully/lab. They never disappoint, always friendly and willing to help and make you feel welcomed. I live in fort walton and for all these years I've drove to Crestview because i don't want another vet. They are the best. Both photos were actually taken at this place!

Took our cat Boo here back in early November, due to some peeing issues he was having. After we tried everything we knew to do, double checked the internet, we figured it had to be a medical issue. He was recently adopted a few months ago, so we don't know his full medical details, and he is already about two. I called two other vets, since this would be his first appointment, and they were both quite rude and told me to go to the emergency clinic because they were booked for months. Being new to the area, this really surprised me. Recently relocated for Raleigh, NC, and never in my life have I ever heard of a vet being booked out for months. I have personally worked as a receptionist at a vet, and they leave time for situations just like this one on the schedule. I was able to schedule an here however on Monday after, and I called Friday, which is much closer to what I expected. He didn't appear to be in pain, was eating and drinking, but I wasn't going to let the issues go MONTHS. As it would have it, he did have a UTI and so he got some antibiotics and were explained in detail the fact that he is a long-haired cat that he is more prone than his short-haired counter parts. He came home and slept that day, and since then he hasn't had one single accident! So grateful for you helping out our Boo!

I just took my dog in for his first appointment as we are new to the area. He's an American Eskimo and tends to be on the weary side with people but they were so very nice and he warmed up immediately. It's an older building. I'm used to all the high tech places from the city. But this place had a family feel. The vet was very competent and explained things very nicely. He was down to earth and I never once felt rushed or stupid. I was able to remember all my questions and he made time for each one. I'm SO happy I chose this office!!!

Dr. Pyle & his staff are AMAZING! Friendly atmosphere, Smiling faces, professional, sanitary environment, genuine care & compassion for their 4-legged clients as well as their human ones. Happy to schedule me in last minute if needed & that is always appreciated! Dr. Pyle & his crew have found a new forever client with me & my zoo crew! Couldn't be happier with the services received and the obvious Love he and everyone who works there has for all of the animals! Thanks guys for being the best veterinarian & staff in all of Crestview!

I don't even know how to begin to express how horribly my 80yo friend was treated by Dr Jackson…read morewhen we took her 17yo cat to their office today. Her white cat has a large skin cancer tumor on her nose which has been stable and shown little growth (if any) over the past 6 months. It is not infected, or raw and doesn't appear to cause the cat pain or discomfort. She has a great appetite, is very active, and still has a very good quality of life. We took her in because today she was sneezing and had an extremely snotty nose that started today. We'd given her a dose of Claritin that seemed to help thin the mucus before taking her to the clinic. My friend just wanted to keep her cat from possibly getting a respiratory infection, to ask if there was a better medication than Claritin to keep her mucus thin and not cause her to have difficulty breathing. We also asked if there was anything that could be done to the tumor to keep it from obstructing her airway and extended her time with us if possible. Dr Jackson had never met my 80yo friend or her furbaby before today. They vet tech took the cat to get weighed once we got called back and Dr Jackson brought her in to us a few minutes later and IMMEDIATELY started telling us in a condescending tone that the best thing we could do is have the cat euthanized because she obviously had cancer. She didn't ask us any questions, she didn't pet or even look at my friends cat as she bluntly interrupted my 80yo friends and my attempts to explain why we were there and told us that she was advocating for my friends cat (whom she'd just seen for the 1st time less than 5 minutes beforehand) and that her cat was in pain, couldn't breathe and that my friend was trying to selfishly prolong her cats life by wanting to treat her symptoms. This cats airway has zero blockage by the tumor, it is not raw or scabbed at all and she was/is breathing and purring with her mouth closed. She has a hearty appetite and had just been enjoying bullying my 88lb German Shepherd yesterday. Both myself (56yo) and my almost 80yo friend agreed that Dr Jackson is the rudest, arrogant and uncaring vet that either of us has ever taken a furbaby to see. I was literally sickened thinking that if any other elderly pet owner had gone alone or had not researched the cats symptoms and options beforehand, that Dr Jackson would have succeeded in ending the life of a cat she'd just laid eyes on 5 minutes earlier. She was going to do this without taking a full history of the cats symptoms and without considering the mental state or emotional needs of her owner. We did finally persuade them to do labwork, give her an antibiotic shot and prescribe her steroids to prevent sinus congestion and infection. Thankfully the vet tech that was assisting the dvm was caring, understanding, knowledgeable and understood our expectations and reasons for not just giving up on a cat my friend has had for 17yrs. She was everything the obviously inexperienced vet was not. That dvm desperately needs to remember that when you care for a beloved pet of someone, you are also responsible for caring about the feelings of the owner.

Worst privately owned vet I have been to. Everything about this place was a red flag, which I…read moreshould have picked up on earlier. The only reason why I didn't was because someone I know highly recommended it. First of all, appointments can only be booked months in advance. This gives the impression that they are very good and therefore always booked; however, when they call back a week later or so and adjust it, it is clear that they are just disorganized. Everything is overpriced. Prices are not provided up-front. OTC medication is about 40% marked-up. They itemize everything and tack it on a service, even when it wasn't requested. Our first and last appointment was unbelievable! We dropped off our elderly pup for a teeth cleaning. We had the first appointment of the day, which was still late enough for it to impact my work schedule. I arrived to a locked facility. 5 minutes later, the first employee arrived. 10 minutes later, the open the door and give me the paperwork to sign which outlines the price--entirely based on how many teeth they remove during the cleaning. Feeling cornered, I sign the form and drop off my dog. Hours later we get a call to pick him up. When we arrive they are helping several customers. I notice the price and ask how many teeth we're removed, which I was told was 8. This is a very old dog, who maybe had 16 teeth going into the appointment, so I joking say "wow, I didn't realize he had that many when I dropped him off" and saw the horror in her face as I realize she just said a number at random cause she had no clue about my dog or his procedure. I add on some flee/tick medicine, pay, and leave. After reviewing the bill I found no less than 16 line-items for a teeth cleaning. This included nail clipping, which in addition to it not being asked for, his nails literally came back sharper than when we was dropped off. Days later, we get a call asking if I have my dogs medicine. It turns out, they gave us someone else's anti-itch medication instead of pain killer. They apologized for the mistake, and insisted that something like this doesn't happen there normally. The reality is, I wouldn't take my dog back if they paid me.

Daniel was a life saver when it came to our sweet girl Piper! We rescued Piper in November of 2025…read more As she became more comfortable and adjusted in our house, she became more territorial. We tried different training techniques, research, and after months of nothing truly addressing the aggressive - territorial behavior, we knew we needed help. She was scaring people when they would come into our home. Putting her in another room (even in her kennel which is her safe space) made her become destructive and worsened her anxiety. Lorenzo's training style is much more than just obedience. It is about training your dog to have confidence in you and to respect you as the leader. Daniel educated us about what was driving Piper's behavior, what her body language means and what she is communicating when she behaves a certain way. He was incredibly patient and thorough with his teaching to my husband and me. He explained everything to us and ensured we were comfortable and understanding of the training techniques. We saw improvement in Piper in just one session. We had three more sessions with Daniel before she boarded with him. Piper now is confident instead of anxious, listens readily, and is substantially less anxious/aggressive when people come into the house and they get to see how loving our Piper girl is. We have one more session with Daniel and we have already seen such a drastic and incredible improvement! The hardest part of the training is training ourselves to be consistent. Daniel truly made an incredible difference for her and taught us skills that will help keep Piper and others safe. Daniel has a deep passion and love for dogs, and we are so glad we worked with him!
