In all his 8 years of life, this is the best groom he's ever had. I'm SO SO SO delighted with the results! They groomed him precisely how I wanted. Everyone that works here is super nice. They all greeted me and let me know how good of a boy he was! The groom was $50. They DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS. Which isn't bad at all. I just didn't pay attention when I dropped him off. Luckily I had checks on me. Yay! We will most definitely be back. P.S. let's NOT forget they are right next to Good Things Donuts. Hehe P.P.S always tip your groomer! My father took his small dog in for grooming, explaining to the groomer she needed a medicated bath die to skin allergies prior to grooming . After paying $50.00 upon picking up his dog he asked why she still smelled terrible; he was informed that they only cut the dogs hair, no baths are ever given. Not only was my father lied to, he was taken advantage of. His dog continued to severely itch after her grooming appointments and now we know why. Grooming consists of a bath not just a cut. If your company is overwhelmed do not lie to your customers. My friend has also stopped using this company for the same exact reason. read more

I called Four Paws Thursday morning to set up an appointment for a bath and nail trim for my dog. I was told they had times on Friday or Saturday. I chose Saturday and was told I could drop her off between 8-10. Saturday morning I dropped her off a few minutes before 10 and was told they would call me when she was done. 3:00 rolls around with no call, so I call to check on her. I was then told that she hadn't been touched yet and she likely wouldn't be done until the end of the day, 5:00 since she was the last to be dropped off. This was not explained to me when I dropped her off. Plus, I was under the impression she had an appointment. So I went to pick her up instead of waiting til 5:00, fearing that she likely hadn't been let out in the last 5 hours. When I went to pick her up, I could hear her whining before I even opened the front door. She was soaked with pee which I can only assume was because she didn't get a potty break in that time. I am beyond disappointed that my dog was cooped up all day without a bathroom break. It made no sense as to why she would need to be dropped off at 10 and held for seven hours if she likely wouldn't get worked on until the end of the day. I'm extremely frustrated with the situation that could easily be remedied with actual appointment times. We've gone to Four Paws for nail trims only in the past, but we will never be back again. HORRIBLE NO NOT GO Took my dog to get her nails trimmed and as soon as I walked in smelt like dog pisss and poop left for days at a time. As soon as she took my dog she snatched her up and stated clipping her nails my dog started crying and barking which my dog never does. She was snatching her leg throwing her around and my dogs lower half fell off the table. She was snatching her legs and arms around almost thought she was gonna break her legs and was just treating her like straight crap and then she only did 3 paws and still charged me the full price. When I got my dog back she was hyper ventilating and foaming at the mouth and was traumatized so badly she was freaking out anytime I even touched her leg. I am extremely disappointed with the grooming experience that my dog had today. She is a Great Pyrenees and had some knots on her back legs. My husband asked the groomer not to shave her back legs, but she insisted if a knot is too bad they may need to shave that area. Much to our horror when we came back to pick up our dog her entire body had been shaved to the skin aside from her head and tail. I believe this groomer does not understand that Great Pyrenees have a second coat. We were not consulted and would not have agreed to this. I will never go to this groomer again. read more

Paid for a bath and for my dogs to be furminated. Was told to drop off between 8-10. Dropped off shortly after 8 & at 12 they still hadn't been started. The girl was completely rude when asked for directions to the building as it was not correct on google and when asked for an update at 12 when we realized they hadn't been done yet. When they finally go to them, they did a horrible job. Very little deshedding was done. A toddler could've done better. Complete waste of money. Terrible customer service. I took my Shih Tzu here for the first time and they were able to fit him in same day. The ladies are friendly and the service was quick. Others places I've been hold him all day and don't call until nearly close of business. He got a cute seasonal bandana and was happy when I picked him up. They didn't use strong perfumes or colognes (these tend to bother him) but he still smelled fresh and clean. Will definitely be back read more

UPDATE: I just spoke with the owner of Four Paws (there are two other locations in Destin and Valparaiso) and he was appalled to hear about my experience and about the fact that I was treated coldly in Crestview when I tried to discuss the issues I had. He has offered to review the CCTV to find out what happened to my dog, and he promises to make changes should any negligence become apparent at his Crestview location. He also promised a full refund and offered to provide my pups with a free stay at the Destin location, so that my dogs could experience what Four Paws is meant to be. It isn't about the money, but his concern has convinced me to try it again, just not in Crestview. The second star does not belong to Crestview; I still will never set foot back in that place, because the groomer is cold and rude, and the boarder is negligent. But, JD earned the second star in a long, 45 minute phone call right in the middle of his work day. I will try Destin and update again. read more

Dropped off two cats around 8 am on December 30th, 2021 and was told it'd be a couple of hours (please specify the actual amount of hours) to have the cats shaved down some. We spent about 4 hours in town trying to kill time. We go back after 4 hours and the cats still hadn't been started on. The frustrating part was our cats sitting inside of their carriers for 4 hours when we should've been told a better time to bring them by so they wouldn't have to sit in their carriers for hours. It would've been longer had we not come back to check to see if they were ready. This was unsatisfactory to keep them in the carrier for that amount of time. We took our cats and will find a better company to groom our fur babies. read more

Have taken my dogs for a number of years. one dog was extremely difficult to have groomed. Many groomers refused to work on her, to the point of having her sedated in order to have her groomed. I've taken my dogs to this place twice. The first time when they chopped my male yorkie's hair I thought it was just a fluke. I convinced my wife to take both our dogs again, but what a mistake. The staff are good with clippers, but when it comes to actually using scissors, they need to go back to school. I didn't notice the chunk of hair out of my dog's ear until I got home. When I did, my wife called to talk with the manager or owner. Neither were there, so she gave her name/phone number for one of them to call her back. No one did and my wife ended up having to call back again. They didn't offer any resolution except to cut the hair down more. No thanks, I don't need more chunks taken out. I'd rather take my dogs back to Pet Smart in Destin (longer distance and more expensive). read more

I love this place! As in the kind of "love this place" that makes me travel 35 minutes out of the way (each way!) to board my dogs here. This is the only place I can take my dogs that doesn't leave them anxious and stressed out. I love that they have an open boarding concept unlike the majority of other boarding facilities that reply on cage confinement. The owner seems to genuinely care for the animals in her care and based on how my dogs do here, I would attest to the difference it makes! I highly recommend this place...unless you're about to snatch the only boarding space they have left and I need it. Ha!! read more

As I entered the parking lot a woman was sitting out front and quickly got up and went inside. I was impressed as this is good customer service, be ready for your customer. As I came close to the door I started getting red flags, a sign no credit or debit cards. 1. Cash only......... 2. When I entered there were two people, the lady from out front and another younger person person using an electronic device. I looked around and it looked liked a few dogs had been groomed but no atempted had been made to clean up. 3. All this time I had my dog in my arms and she never once looked at her or spoke to her. I set the appointment, and went hone to check the reviews and was first surprised to find that this is a local chain company working cash only?..... Even though these are "only dogs" the stations and floors all over should be cleaned after every cut. That is just being sanitary. If you are so bored with the job that you chose to do that you forgot how to treat the pets that you are being paid to work with, then find another job, because my pet just happens to be my family. read more

Do not under any circumstance take your dog here to be groomed or boarded. Thank goodness our poor baby was only the for 3 days and not longer. I cannot begin to imagine how he would be if we had boarded him here longer. My husband picked him up at 9am. When my husband walked in he was barking, which he does when he needs to go out, and there were three woman standing there talking and ignoring him. My husband when to get him and the was a metal chelan/ tie out in his kennel that was all chewed. The lady had no idea it was in his kennel and asked my husband if it belonged to us?! When my husband walked outside with our dog he headed to pee so bad he peed four several minutes. Another customer noticed and approachedmy husband and some to him and gave them a horrible review of her own from a previous experience. Our dog smells like he laid in pee for the entire three days. We have no idea if they even took him out at all. We will NEVER take any of our dogs here again and will boot recommend them to anyone. If you care about your four legged family member you will find anywhere but here to take them. Three only reason they have one star is because that's the least you can choose to leave a review. Today I took my cat into Four Paws in Crestview to be shaved, he is black and I have white furniture, hence the shave down. While I was there I found out this shop is under new ownership, the owner and staff made us feel welcome and were friendly and professional. My cat was groomed perfectly (cats can be difficult) and was calm when I came back to pick him up, I have found a great place to take my cat and dog to for future groomings, I appreciate your professionalism and kindness, we will be back! read more

The owner who is currently running this business absolutely loves and cares her for clients, that being said the dogs that come through and their people :). I have known this family for a min now and they are hard working, kind individuals that only want to make the best experience they can for the pups and cats that's come in. They always make sure that their workers are in the correct position to care and treat the animals right. I have never been more impressed in how a business has been ran. I would never trust these people with my dogs after the way they treated me. They hired me I quit my job and showed up to work there and they sent me away saying they would call me. After several calls to them which they never answered. I gave up. You just don't treat people like that. I can't imagine what they do to animals read more

I picked up my two dogs today from a 3 day stay at Four Paws. I paid an extra $20 for a Sunday pick up because they are not open for business on Sundays. They charged a hefty $20 per night per dog ($140 counting the extra money for the Sunday pick up), but I thought it was worth the money for "cage free" boarding. When I arrived to retrieve them there was urine and feces all over the floor. I am not sure when the dogs had been taken out last (there were 5 total being boarded there). One dog was desperate to go outside, but the lady working seemed to be too busy talking on the phone to notice (said dog proceeded to urinate on the floor while we were there). I had to ask several times for my dog's leash so we could ensure she didn't accidentally step in any of the mess. My puppy (6 months) was in a cage when I arrived. When I complained, I was told that she didn't get a long with other dogs (a problem we have NEVER experienced). A second lady (when she finally got off of her cell) informed me that she had placed her in the cage prior to our arrival because they were all so anxious to get out. I'm not sure what is the truth, but I left there feeling as if my dogs had been neglected the entire stay. I will not be returning! read more

To anyone who truly loves their dog PAY ATTENTION and under NO circumstance subject your dog to the filthy, feces contaminated, urine coated, malodorous Crestview Four Paws facility. I did not have an option to post "no stars" though this is a facility deserving of a NO STAR rating. It is with marked regret that I allowed my dog to be groomed in this facility. I noticed the odor upon arrival and 3 hours later when I retrieved my dog not only was the odor still present in the boarding facility at large it was clear that it was coming from the area in which 2 dogs were boarding for the week. Professional facilities would have sanitized their facilities following any incident. This was not done. I know these dogs were boarded for the week because the staff remarked to me that these dogs would not be returning to their facility because of their "annoying and chronic barking." If the dogs were properly attended to and not smothered in their own feces perhaps they would have less to bark about. I observed one staff who had completed work on my dog present markedly unfriendly toward myself as well as the kenneled dogs she proceeded to yell at loudly in my presence. I wonder how these "professionals" conduct themselves in the absence of clients. Upon returning home I read Google reviews that were pages upon pages in length from consumers who were horrified by their experiences at Four Paws in Crestview. However, the more alarming part is that the owner(s) routinely posted replies to these reviews with pages and pages of unprofessional counter-attacks. I was told that my dog's grooming went well without any difficulties. I arrived home and her freshly cut nails had clearly been cut to the point of bleeding and were frayed out at the edges. I phoned the facility who previously informed me that there were no difficulties only to be informed that they had indeed observed the frayed dog nails noting that my dog did not respond well to their electric file. My dog's nails have been trimmed for 7 years without any need for a follow up filing procedure. I didn't trust my intuition upon arrival that I was leaving my dog in unsafe hands. Upon retrieval the experiences noted above confirmed my intuition had been correct. I do not know how my dog was treated in my absence. I encourage any reader of this review to please trust me and do not make the mistake I did. Do not allow your dog to receive services at the Crestview Four Paws location. read more
