I absolutely love the people that work here. They work so hard and it's for such a great cause. I highly recommend taking your donations here. It's huge square footage packed with treasurers. You never know what you're gonna find. Everything is consistently a good value and they run specials uncertain items during the week. They do not honor their website on what is on sale! If they are in the business to help animals they are doing a poor job! If the money "goes to the animals" then they need to honor what they have on the website! The worst business I've ever been in. The lady was extremely rude claiming it was a misprint and must have not been taken down. Hmm well this was for Halloween that was supposed to be 1/2 off. That is just pathetic if you haven't maintained your website in a year. I have a picture showing it. I will not be back. I'll take my money straight to the animal shelter!!! Since there were so many good reviews I had the Re-Tail Resale on my list of must sees. We were greeted when we entered to a store packed of things to sort through. I am crutches from recent surgery and it was very difficult to move throughout the store because of the abundance of products. There is anything from jewelry, kitchen items, frames and art, small amount of clothing and more. Many were not in a condition that I would purchase but certainly could be a treasure for another. I did feel that because of the condition of most things they were overpriced. I probably would not return to hunt for treasure here, but you need to check it out for your own because it might be exactly what you are looking for. read more

Very disappointed being treated badly because I medically cannot wear mask. Being followed around in the Store, talked about behind my back. Encouraging other customer to harass me. I had an anxiety attack which affected my Service Dog. That staff needs training on how to deal with people. I tried several times to explain why I medically cannot wear a mask. Perfectly located off Savannah Hwy, Re-Tail is a second-hand store that promotes a great cause. Unfortunately, the inside leaves a lot to be desired... don't go in if you're allergic to any pet dander. The store looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a WHILE. They have a variety of inventory, but it's hard to tell what exactly because they stack everything up in piles. The name says it all ... they help animals ... win-win in my book. This business is a lot like many other thrift stores that you'll see around town, however, they are a 501 c3 that donates it's profit to help animals. Their stock changes frequently, and there is always plenty of parking. They also have a van/truck and can pick up your donations if you can't get them to the store itself. read more

The older woman in this store with short blonde hair was incredibly rude to my child with processing issues, she was working on 6/2/22. She HARSHLY scolded my son for dropping a $1 toy. Anyone who treats children this way does not deserve anyone's business. I'm all for saving animals, but perhaps these woman should also learn to treat children with kindness. What a great idea. Bring them stuff, they sell them, and the $$$ goes to the animals. Because of this, I find that people bring in more nice and expensive items because they,know,that the money is for the animals. The place could use some sprucing up. The items are in good shape and you can find a great "find" every so often. Most things are very inexpensive and worth the look. You will be surprised at the inventory. Interesting variety of items from nic nacks, electronics, household items, to pricey antiques. If you need some tile or maybe a new door, check them out as I saw some of these items similar to the Habitat stores where people donated leftovers from house projects...saw some sinks, too, a bit higher prices if you are used to shopping at Goodwill, but worth checking out. So, I just moved into my new place and looking for some new furniture. I looked on on line. I went to some furniture stores. Everything new was so expensive, and personally I don't like to track down complete strangers to find a good deal. One thing about me is I am a crazy animal lover. So, I was so happy to find Animal Helpers Retail shop. They have some amazing stuff. I bought a bunch of stuff, and am going back next weekend to see what else they get in. Last week I snagged a KILLER deal here. They posted a photo of a Herman Miller Chair on their Facebook page and immediately drove my hiney there to check it out. What a great find! This was the first time I'd ever been to Animal Helpers, and they appeared to have a lot of cool stuff. Things you wouldn't normally see at a place like Goodwill like bikes and pianos. I recommend Liking them on Facebook so you can get alerted to awesome deals before most everyone else. read more

Four stars because the prices on nick nacks are a bit high. Furniture prices were reasonable. DVD selection was decent at $2 a pop. Found what I went in for which was cupcake tins for a dollar. Didn't try to barter so not sure if they do that. Owners/staff were friendly and welcoming. Will be back when have more time to comb through their stock. read more
