Both my animals received care that was below my expectations. One surgery they promised a 2 inch incision, she was cut from the top of her shoulder to her underbelly. She looked like Frankenstein.the same pup had chronic ear infections ( all the time). Medication just for that was close to $500 each time I left there and went to an animal hospital in Philly within 2 weeks it was done. Outrageous. Unfortunately after all this I lost both of my girl. 14 yo and 15yo I vacillated if I should write this but it still haunts me how we were treated. Whenever I get fur babies I certainly won't go back.

He lost weight and they thought maybe it was a mass or infection. After she left, my normal hamster couldn't walk or breathe after the exam . They wound up putting him on oxygen and he died ten minutes later . I am not blaming them for his death but they definitely contributed. Working in the medical field as a nurse for 20 years he prob aspirated or maybe the tumor perforated when pressed (there was blood coming out his private areas). I do think it was the deep pressing . I know you have to do that to examine him but I think if I never brought him there , yea he may have passed in a few months peacefully in his home from a tumor - not traumatically after an exam. That morning he was running in his cage, eating , etc - they say this couldn't been avoided . Yea it could - if you didn't press so hard on my hamsters he would be alive. It happened immediately after he was examined. Now I'm devastated I blame myself for bringing him there. He prob would have passed at home in a few months, but peacefully with me. I won't ever go there again. She was nice but not that empathetic, I got him cremated and got charged 400 to leave without my hamster. Least they could do is pay for that. I'm sorry they def contributed to his death. I never write reviews I never complain, but when I feel something is a miss I have to say something esp with my medical knowledge. My poor Humphrey.

I have the tooth, examined her myself and wanted a professional opinion to confirm no infection. My husband brought her in, The doctor Mrs Spector denied she lost her tooth 3x. Began violently cleaning her teeth and caused more teeth to fall out. My husband called me while still in the office, I called to say I have the tooth in my hand look again. A tech rechecked her and confirmed the tooth was missing after the exam with the doctor was over. I called to asked for the exam fee to be refunded since no one actually examined my cat to confirm her tooth was missing. The manager was extremely rude, combative and asked us not to come back. No problem. We would never go back to such insane incompetence. I am filing a complaint with the veterinary board. This place should not have a license.

From the most lovable and well socialized of my kitties, to the most reclusive and skittish fur babies, my animals and I have never had anything but an stress-free, personable, caring, and reassuring vet visits. Dr. Lee and his wife are truly the embodiment of the term 'salt of the earth' and the special touch they have with all animals is truly something that brings tears to my eyes and gives me such peace and comfort anytime I have to bring my fur babies in. Furthermore, his whole entire team are some of the kindest, most empathetic, and most considerate people I have ever met, and from the moment you walk through their door, you know that you are in good hands all around. I cannot recommend Gray Fox enough to any pet parent in need of any type of veterinary care, especially if you've had bad experiences in the past with other vet clinics. There was even one time my frantic pet parent self was basically asking Dr. Lee to run a whole bunch of expensive tests due to my anxiety, and within our appointment, he said that if I really wanted him to, he will run the tests, but in his opinion, it would be unnecessary costs for an issue that wasn't really much of a concern to begin with, and that he would hate for me to have to spend so much on tests or medication when it was something that time alone would heal, as well as limit possible side effects from the medication(s). That is another plus -- he does not price gouge, does not try to incur unnecessary costs, and certainly weighs out the pros and cons of things like side effects of medications to help pet parents make informed decisions, while thoroughly explaining his thought process and how he would handle things for his own pets. In summary, Dr. Lee has not only saved me things like money, anxiety, and time, but he has also provided an environment upon which both my animals and I feel safe, protected, and loved so it is always a beautiful and rewarding experience all around. My cats actually enjoy going to the vet because they know they will see one of their favorite people within Dr. Lee, while also getting loved on by his whole entire team. If you need any veterinary care, I strongly urge you to consider Gray Fox for your needs -- I can promise you that it will be the best decision you ever make for yourself and your fur babies alike. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the Gray Fox Family -- my family doesn't know what we would do without your care and expertise.

My cat, Jasper, was very ill and hospitalized there for 4 days. The emergency room veterinarians and technicians were amazing. One ER doctor called me multiple times over the course of 2 days just to keep me updated on my baby. How amazing! Then Jasper was transferred from emergency medicine to the internal medicine team. This is when we met Dr. DiBenedetto- our hero. I cannot say enough amazing things about this man. He showed true compassion towards me and Jasper, he worked extremely hard to determine what was causing Jaspers illness, spent a great deal of time providing me with all the details of his illness, treated him appropriately, and SAVED HIM! Nine days after discharge, Jasper started to feel unwell again. Luckily we already had a follow up visit scheduled, so off we went to Redbank again. Dr. DiBenedetto promptly determined the diagnosis, explained to me in detail what we could do to help him, and provided me with honest and empathetic options. We decided to treat Jasper at home, as funds were tight after a 4 day hospital stay. Now two weeks after that last visit, Jasper is THRIVING!! He saved him for 2nd time!! Jasper turned 9 on June 6th and I owe it all to Redbank's amazing staff- especially Dr. DiBenedetto, his tech Liz, and the rest of the internal medicine team. The empathy, compassion, thoroughness, respectfulness, and intelligence that Dr. DiBenedetto possesses is truly exceptional. Thank you!!!! PS- I also love that they have a coffee station, water, tea, and a vending machine. The establishment is always very clean and the front desk staff are polite. All the techs have always treated me and my pets with respect and compassion.
