I brought my dog here for the first time for a bandage wrap. i was approached by someone i assume is the doctor but she never really identified herself to me. they wanted me to consider giving my dog up bc i couldn't afford to pay for his surgery yet. i said no. later on in the week it was insinuated that i was neglecting my dog. they called him malnourished and called the police on me... he's an 11 lbs mini poodle and record of him weighing 8 lbs when i first got him. you do the math. the police couldn't even understand why they called him and left immediately after seeing my place. they wanted me to give him up or they were gonna get him taken. based on an opinion, no policy, nothing like that. you'll get your dog taken dealing with these people. read more

My cat's vet retired and a friend recommended this place. My cat was eating ravenously and was losing weight. Dr. Kandell and the vet tech Paige treated my cat Bindi very thoughtfully as she was trying to scratch and bite them! Labs were taken and explained thoroughly. Meds were recommended and priced reasonably for pickup. Dr Kandell gently explained that when it was time to take her off the prednisone that she would likely go downhill fast. My cat was nearing 16 years old and unfortunately passed away at home. When I'm ready to get another cat I will definitely go back to them for care. read more

My boyfriend and I found a stray kitty on Thursday night. Friday morning I am frantically calling vets to take him to, I was told since I'm a new customer I would have to wait TWO WEEKS to take him to various vets. I called My Pets and they had an appointment ready for me to come in first thing at 8:30. They have curbside assistance so a Tech comes out and gets your animal and brings paperwork to your car. They were so nice and welcoming and answered the questions we had with patience, even when it was cold and a little rainy outside. We didn't wait long even though he had a shot, exam, and was de wormed. They even gave us a goody bag with pamphlets, a pen and a toothbrush for our kitty!! This is my Opinion (2008) Many years back I had a out small breed seen due to her bleeding and was told she had a kidney infection and had to be operated at a cost of $650. -1000., the person working with me had me waiting in a examination room for some time trying to talk me into operating my dog. I refuse to pay that amount. Well when I got home I called my friend and they advise me to give her unsweetened cranberry juice well she seem to cure overnight and she lived for several years before she passed away. We've been here twice for both of our fur babies Tiger & Coco. Both were booked on separate occasions with little notice due to our schedules and we were able to get them seen quickly, which was so great! The staff is so nice, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The vets are so pleasant and super thorough. During this strange time of Covid-19, they've taken great precautions and changed in protocol. I felt very safe and reassured with Coco in their care. I feel they truly care about your pet unlike some other experiences I've had at other vets where it feels like there's no connection. Coming from NYC, I'm used to vets charging an arm and a leg for the simplest things, so I'm happy to say this vet has very fair rates for the quality of service and level of care you're receiving for your pet. They were able to see my cat and help her when she had a cold. However I had to pay $400 because they thought it was pneumonia and did X-rays even though it was just a cold. Room also seemed dirty and dark. Biggest complaint was for about a week after everyday they emailed asking me to rate them. Will only go back if necessary. read more

Dr. Thibaudeau, Dr. Kendall, and all the ladies/gentleman (both front desk and technicians) were absolutely wonderful. So knowledgeable and so patient. The technicians was really great. Dr. Thibaudeau spent a good amount of time giving us advice to improve the issues that our fur baby's bad allergy reaction. We appreciated that so much. She also spent a lot of time with us, providing a lot of useful information and great advice. She is very knowledgeable and also very honest. I used this vet until recently when I needed a vet with emergency services. While the doctors are nice here, the times for appointments are never on time and the actual visit with the vet is extremely short. I called to get my dog pain meds for his bad joints - which the vet diagnosed herself. When I called to get a new prescription for my dog who was in pain, they said the only way for me to get it was to come in and have an appointment. It cost $45 just to walk through the door! This isn't a new problem, and they said when it was diagnosed that all I had to do was call in the future. So...I called the local vet that offered emergency services and also had my dog's records. They called in the script and I also scheduled yearly check ups. I called Marne Vet to cancel on Thursday and was told OK by Valerie. She then called me on Monday and told me that I didn't show for my appointment. When I told her that I talked with her on Thursday to cancel and fax all my records over to the new vet, she hung up on me. I couldn't believe it!! It you want okay service for your dog that is costly, then that would be the only way I'd recommend this place. read more

I've had great experiences here. My first interaction was even before my pets were patients. I had stopped going to Banfield at PetSmart because I just didn't feel a good connection. (Nothing bad, but nothing great.) I had not yet found a new vet. Then, I adopted a stray rescue cat. A few weeks after I adopted him, I had put a flea treatment on him, on the back of his neck, before I went to work. When I came home, he had scratched the area on his neck so bad that there was fur everywhere and he was bleeding. It was 7:30 at night. I remembered seeing Marne Vet Facebook posts via the kennel we use for our dog. I took a chance and called. They were open. The receptionist said the vet was with a patient, but she went t get info from the vet and relayed it to us. She said that the vet would call me back ASAP. She did. She told me how to continue treating my cat. I even received a follow up call the next day asking how my cat was doing. I figured that if this vet clinic did this for pets that weren't even their patients, then I would be happy with the service they gave to their patients. They have evening hours almost everyday, which is great for a working pet parent. I have always been able to get an appointment within 24 hrs. The vet techs are really friendly. We have seen several of the vets. Most of them are "warm & fuzzy," which is what I like in a vet. There has only been 1 that I didn't get a "warm fuzzy" feeling from, but I could handle that because he came across as VERY competent and did a great job educating me about my cat's condition. Our cat suddenly developed a urinary tract infection and she was passing blood. This was at 4:35 PM. I called to see if they could see her and I was told they couldn't, but I could bring her in the next morning at 8:30. Now can you imagine being told this when your fur baby is trying to urinate and instead passing blood? Can you believe they suggested that I wait 16 hours before they could see her? I know she was in pain and really hurting. In their defense they did recommend North Star Emergency Animal Hospital in Maple Shade. They were wonderful with her. The diagnosed the problem, gave her antibiotics and by the time we got home she was acting normally. read more

I have been taking my cats to My Pet's Vet. Dr. Trachtenberg is GREAT!! I had a 13 year old female cat with cancer, Dr. Trachtenberg did what she could to ease her condition, but she was gentle enough when to recommend to 'let her go'. I have a 20 year old cat, who is a grumpy ole man, but Dr. Trachtenberg helps with all his elderly issues and he's living a long happier life because of her. I also have a blind cat, who is very healthy and happy from the great treatments of his unique issues. I highly recommend this business. read more

We tried a couple of vets in the area after moving here. Some were highly recommended, but not the right fit for us. Marne (now "My Pet's Veterinary Clinic") has been wonderful. One of our pets was hit by a car. We came in late, without an appointment, right before a holiday, and the vet and several techs stayed hours past closing to make sure he got the proper care, and explain to us what would be happening in the next couple of days. They always explain our options, and ask first before performing costly services, to make sure it's OK. Having been to several expensive vets, I appreciate that My Pet's is reasonable in cost. We feel involved in our pets' care, but most importantly, we feel like our pets are in good hands. The office is always clean, and the staff is courteous, friendly, and professional. I feel like they genuinely care about our pets. I will continue to come to My Pet's as long as we live in the area, and I recommend it to everyone I know who has pets. read more

The Veterinarians at MyPets have been delivering exceptional care for both our cat and dog for several years now. Ever since our aging Beagle developed chronic respiratory problems, an autoimmune disorder and a growing list of secondary aliments, Dr Kandel and in particular Dr Eiss our lead vet, have collaborated to map out an aggressive but reasonable course of treatment to provide the best projected outcome. Despite their best efforts, our beloved beagle could not sustain the grueling impacts of her progressive disorders and sadly we lost her recently.
